As Siren emerged from the bar, her pace slowed upon spotting Raven leaning casually against her bike. His attention seemed consumed by his phone, the dim glow highlighting his chiseled features, casting an alluring aura around him.
"He's... handsome," Siren silently admitted in her heart with a straight face.
As her footsteps drew closer, Raven, who was busy texting to his annoying brat of a son, closed his phone and put it inside his suit pocket.
"Mr. Raven," Siren greeted him politely, though inwardly she wished to slip away unnoticed.
"Siren," he replied in his deep baritone voice, returning the greeting with a cool demeanor.
Siren's brow furrowed slightly at the familiarity in his tone, a subtle hint of suspicion creeping into her expression.
"Do you need any help, Mr... Raven?" Siren emphasized the "Mr" part, a subtle reminder of the lack of formalities in his previous greeting.
Raven's grin widened, revealing a striking set of teeth. "Nope, I don't need your help, but just a ride back to my home," he replied with a playful tone.
Siren feigned ignorance, her expression neutral as she started her bike, eager to distance herself from this high androgen specimen.
"Oh! I wish you good luck in getting a ride," she replied dismissively, attempting to brush off his suggestive remark.
Raven's grin remained firmly in place as he leaned in closer, his large hands reaching out to prevent her from starting the bike.
"Should I rephrase my words, Siren?" he murmured, his breath grazing her lips as he closed the distance between them, his intent unmistakable.
"I need a ride from you," Raven stated bluntly, cutting through the tension with his straightforward request.

Siren clenched her teeth, a flicker of irritation crossing her features as she put some distance between them. "What happened to your car?" she demanded, her tone sharp with suspicion.
"Ran out of gas," Raven replied casually, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"And what about your friend?" Siren pressed, recalling the presence of the tech-savvy player, Hardin Spencer, who had been with Raven earlier.
"Oh, him. He's got some midnight business," Raven explained with a dismissive wave of his hand.
Siren regarded him with a silent stare, her thoughts swirling with skepticism and distrust.
"Sigh! Aiden must be starving himself to accompany his dad for dinner," Raven lamented in a pitiful tone, shaking his head in mock disapproval.
"Tch...tch, a poor boy of four," he added.
"Shameless," Siren thought to herself, her disdain for Raven's manipulative tactics evident in her expression.
"Fine. Hop on," she relented begrudgingly, her resolve wavering in the face of Raven's shameless antics.
"Gladly," Raven replied with a smile, hopping onto the back of the bike. However, his enthusiasm quickly turned to discomfort as he struggled to find a suitable place to put his hands.
Though he had ridden bikes before, he had never been seated at the back. He looked at the lean and dainty waist of the women in front of him, but not wanting to be abandoned in the middle of the road he silently held the rear of the back seat.
His large frame casting a shadow over the petite woman in front of him, creating a somewhat comical sight.
Leaning in close, he whispered to her in his deep voice, "Let's ride."
Siren felt a rush of heat as his breath tickled her neck, her grip on the clutch tightening in response. Suppressing her emotions, she focused on the road ahead, and accelerated her bike towards the Grey's mansion.
As Hardin emerged from the bar, his eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets at the sight before him.
"Should I schedule an eye checkup along with a fertility checkup?" he muttered incredulously, the surreal scene before him prompting him to question his own sanity.
He finally concluded that alcohol must have caught up to his head.
Meanwhile, Raven, seated behind Siren, remained silent as he stared intently at the back of her head. If it were possible, he would have drilled a hole to uncover how she had discovered his involvement in the underground.
However, he was willing to bide his time. After all, it wasn't every day he encountered such intriguing prey.
A dark glint passed through his eyes at the thought of the thrill that lay ahead, unnoticed by Siren, who was preoccupied with plotting how to throw him under the bus without evidence.
And so, unbeknownst to each other, the hunter and the huntress were both busy laying their own traps in the intricate game of cat and mouse, leaving it uncertain who will be hunted by whom.
