The next night, my family and I were having a great dinner.
"How's your school going on, Sam? " Dad asked. "Dad, my vacation is going on," said me.
"Oh, sorry, dear, I forgot about your vacation. This time we weren't able to go anywhere during these vacations. I am sorry," said dad.
"No problems, we can go anywhere you want on the next vacation. Why regret it? It is just one time we didn't go anywhere. Now forget it and have your dinner," Said my mom
After dinner, I went to my room to have some leisure time. Suddenly, a solid yet silent flash of light strikes our windows. Everybody saw it.
"What was that light ?" I asked.
"Might be a huge truck. We live near the main road, so flashes are common here. It shouldn't bother you," Said dad.
Out of my curiosity, I immediately went to the terrace to look outside. Surprisingly I found nothing as big as a truck despite traffic on the main road. I didn't bother it too much and started to go back to the stairs to go down. While I descended the stairs, a bluish-green light struck the inner side of my spectacles' lens. I turned around to see the light source, and what I saw made me highly fearsome. I felt like my heart missed a beat - A group of massive asteroids that were stunningly bigger than Earth and meteors as fast as light passing against the terrace. I could even see planets of different sizes revolving around stars. It felt like my legs had been firmly held by something on the floor, and I couldn't move.

But, as soon as I blinked my eyes... everything became normal. It was a mesmerizing yet dreadful illusion to experience, as I felt so insignificant and seemingly nothing in front of the giant asteroids. I shook my head in fear and saw that everything was in shape and regular. I ran down the stairs out of fear.
As I continued moving down the stairs, I heard a sudden disturbing shockwave of a very high frequency, from which I immediately became unconscious.
The following day, I found myself lying in a nearby hospital bed, and I heard my mom talking to the doctor. "Why did he faint, doctor?"
"Some part of his auditory cortices have been potentially damaged due to a sudden high-frequency shockwave," said the doctor, "and it will be a permanent disorder."
"Oh my god! Will my son now be hearing impaired?" said mom, "No ! No! Is there any way it can........"
"Please! Don't take it so seriously," interrupted the doctor, "Though it is a permanent disorder, it won't make your son deaf. But one thing is confusing me a bit: the high-frequency sound can only be heard from space and can only be recorded using hi-tech machinery, and should place it at a very high altitude above Earth..... Collisions! ya, supernovae collisions create these sounds."
"Doctor, I heard - "
"Sam ! " mom interrupted, "take rest until you get discharged from the hospital."
