Heat

The following night, while studying in my room, I wondered about the incident that caused me to run down the stairs out of fear. Although this incident was frightening, it gave me excitement, an opportunity, and motivation to explore space. I began reading random facts, figures, and principles from the book given to me by uncle Prince. The first thing I came across was a star and its life cycle.

After reading the life cycle, I read a fascinating fact - Sirius is the brightest star that we could see in the night sky. I immediately leaped off my chair and started gazing at the stars in the sky.

But there was something unusual, the bluish-black sky was constantly altering its radiance in VIBGYOR(Violet-Indigo-Blue-Green-Yellow-Orange-Red) pattern, but in a random pattern, accompanied with high-speed winds that don't generally flow during this season. It felt like a natural phenomenon, as the colors were the constituent colors derived from the splitting of white light. I went up the terrace to see if others were also witnessing this, but I found myself all alone on the terrace.

I felt in my heart - "Strange, no one is out there to witness this wonderful phenomenon. Are strange things happening just with me ?"

"Dad, would you do me a favor?" I asked dad while looking at the sky

"Yes?" He replied

"Can you take a peek out of the window and see if there's some change in the sky?"

"No,! there is no change!!" he snarled. "Sam, you are reading too much about space and thinking overly fictional."

All of a sudden, my vision became blurry. I started to tremble as if it was the same as the day I got unconscious. I immediately sat on a bench near me and removed my spectacles.

"What? I can see everything! Without specs ?" I shouted in surprise, "Sam stop dreaming with open eyes."

To confirm it, I wore them again and got a blurry view.

After removing the specs, I again looked at the sky. I saw everything again. "Oh yes! Now no need to wear these," I said cheerfully.

After scrutinizing the sky, I realized something," The sky isn't changing shades by itself, there is a chain of firecrackers making it happen as the light outspreads from the center of them. They were changing their colors from time to time".

After some time, I correlated it with what I read in the book - A star, its life cycle. I concluded with a strange and dreadful outcome.
