Author's Comment: (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)~~ nya2

If you find any mistake(s), please tell me. Thank You. ^^

**Some might be confuse about the Chapter 1 and Prologue sequence.

Originally, it's suppose to be Prologue 1,2,3 then Chapter 1,2,3... as I'm still new with royalroad, i don't know how to change the flow after i post it, so.. i think i will just post chapter 1 again after the Prologue finished.

Thanks again for those who comment and took their time to read this. (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)~~

2nd Prologue I Will Make It. I Will. I Will.

Unlike many parts of the world, Kumamoto Japan is located near the North Pacific Ocean. A huge open ocean that blows the cloud away with it's fierce wind. Thus, producing one of the most beautiful place to gaze upon the night stars.

Tonight though, is a special night. For every few years, Venus, Jupiter and the Moon will align in a special way creating a ‘Smiley’. A phenomenon that considered as the 'Blessing of the Heaven'

Accompanied by the cool light breeze, Kumon recalled Otou-San and Okaa-San promised to come here with her.

Eleven years ago, the three was traveling to New Delhi and it was her sixth birthday. She tasted her first Nan and ‘Halal Chicken Curry’ there. Then, proceeded to gulp two glasses of milk to ease the spiciness. The only thing that would make her happier at that time was if her brother’s meeting with the software developer team there will finally finish and be with her.

As the food was about to finish, she gazes to the night moon and asked her Okaa-San

“Okaa-San will the Moon ever smile?”

Otou-San and Okaa-San looked at each other and laughed. Hugging their little angel, they told that she can see the Moon smile in the future. Along with two of her friends, they will bless the Earth with their smile. Snuggling her Otou-San, she drifted away to sleep.

Baffled, ‘Why are you just standing there? Help me?!’

By the time the police arrived, it was already too late. The three were a victim of a robbery case gone wrong. The robber panicked in his attempt and shot her parents. After inspection over headed by the Japanese Embassy there, they concluded the two could have survived if given fast emergency care and was surprised when Kumon gave her testimony and the repeated refusal given to her during her plight. The news shocked the world resulting awareness of ‘The Bystander Effect’.

For Kumon though, it doesn’t matter, her world already fell apart.

(Back to the Present)

A single tear fell but just as she was about to broke down, a shooting star painted the sky. Reminding her of the last relative she had.

“Nisan” She whispered to herself

Forcing herself to smile, she stood up and walk to the lake. The flower bed was a bit far from the lake, but this was the secret garden she found during her last school trip here. Ever since then, it became a secret sanctuary for her.

‘Eh, why are there three guys laughing while watching the lake? Did they come to see the moon also?’

Pondering how to warn the three from standing so near to an ‘Asian Giant Hornet’ hive, a splashing sound came from the lake along with desperate meowing sound.

Kumon focused her eyes, scanning the calm lake for the source of the desperate cry.

Wrapped in a plastic bag, 3 kitten heads pop out of the plastic. They squirmed and moved trying to swim to the shore.

Without a thought, she dived into the cold lake and swam towards the kitten. Each stroke faster than the one before. Just as she grabbed the kittens and turned around, her ankle caught a hidden maelstrom flowing beneath the calm lake. Like iron chains, the maelstrom dragged her down the current’s path.

Her struggle to break free from the current continue to wear her out but her body was pulled further in with no sign of pause. Grabbing the plastic with one hand, Kumon Frisbee-Throw the kittens to the biggest bush she can see. Praying that they would not be injured too much. As she was swallowed by the maelstrom, her eyes saw the four special guards hired by her brother rushing towards her. Tired and cold, she closes her eyes.  Accepting the inevitable.

‘Don’t worry Kittens, I’m sure they will take care of you.’ She smiled.
