Inside tor’s cottage:
‘how boring it wasn’t even worth a work out’ tor sat down in the large lounge of the cottage on the sofa ‘you did drag it out a bit Tor’ his attendant who he called uncle mike sat next to him handing him a ham burger, ‘mhm its not everyday people come gunning for my life you know’ tor thanked him with a smile and took the hamburger from mike who was a burly bearded dark skinned man who loved to be quiet but hated sharing his food with everyone else except tor. ’for most people thats a good thing young lord’ he replied with a low chuckle ‘ha? no way, uncle ter says only important people are worth assassinating’ his uncle mike unconsciously nodded slightly ‘this is to say im slightly important now’ Tor continued with a laugh. ‘in some twisted logical way that makes sense’ mike responded thinking about it. ‘doesnt it? those words sum uncle Ter up perfectly’ tor said laughing thinking about the torturous training ter had put him through since childhood. ‘and what about you’ mike asked tor in a calm wise tone. ‘hohoho im leaving the mountain tomorrow so that makes me more sane than you’ tor responded sarcastically, mike could even be said to be Tor’s closest relative and at the age of 20 was a high ranking lieutenant and now at 25 in charge of specific special ops duties like security attachments and he was the head of security for Tor and in charge of the cottage and never seemed to leave it like he was guarding something. ‘i know you wish to protect me but uncle says its a learning experience and i cant bring you to school with me, you’d scare the little pets’ tor said with a joking voice, ‘plus think of it this way you own all this till im back’ he said referring to his video games collections and drones and what vehicles were left outside after the fire ‘but i still used those when you were here’ mike said calmly indicating some interest in going with him. ‘well you now have unlimited control, also make sure to protect uncle ter cause are the only one I trust in this place to do that’ tor said as he swaggered out of the hall. ‘ok, I understand, well at least tell me who attacked you’ mike shouted because he had been cracking his head to find out where tor sent the remnants of the battletanks and fire which the assassins set. ’its a secret’ tor responded and vanished from the hall. ‘whats he being all mysterious for ‘its a secret’ he says’ the attendant complained as he vanished from the hall also.
somewhere in the fire villa:
‘it seems like the assassination attempt failed’ the fire chief frowned as his voice sounded in the chamber of fire. ‘what gave that away?’ asked crow one of the elders under mak’s camp, ‘well the tanks dropped on maks castle chambers and the rain of fire for one’ the rest of the fire tribe’s elders chuckled in a low voice as crow frowned feeling some contempt and disrespect emanating from them. ‘well we did aid you with the best technology but you failed to kill even a ten year old boy’ the fire king continued in the same mocking manner ‘that was probably because the guards are the best we have and they could probably use their mandates there. machines are truly inferior when they come face to face with elite mandates’ crow responded cynically, getting a jab in. ’tell me did you manage to kill anyone in the small cottage? did you break or burn anything?’ one of the fire elders responded cynically, ‘this time it was because the great elder shielded the place with the mandates of space and time but there is an opportunity to mistakenly kill the brat tomorrow as he tries to leave’ crow responded as if trying to save face since it felt like they lost. ‘oh? he’s leaving the mountain?’ The fire king finally stopped mocking and was interested in what crow had to say. ’yes but he has to go through us first, this is the window of opportunity the great elder has given us before he leaves with the elders’ full protection and blessings’ crow responded further trying to sound enticing, ‘fine i just hope you can accomplish this so we are one step closer to ushering a new age in the continent’ the fire king thought for a bit before he responded. ‘precisely what the boss was thinking’ crow answered as the bowed slightly and vanished. ‘teleportation, what a nasty mandate’ the fire lord commented with concealed hatred and fear as he leaned back into his throne, ‘this massage chair is more soothing than the blazing throne’ he said cracking a joke which showed his high spirits.

mak’s sector (spatial abyss):
Deep in the spatial abyss which was a dark corner of the spatial fortress there was a castle which seemed separated and inside was dimly lit but gold could be seen everywhere, mak sat on a golden throne which was far more ornate in design than the great elder’s seat. ’lord mak i have reassured our allies that there is no need to fear and that our plan is still on track.’ Crow reported as he walked into the hall, took off his mask and bowed. mak had his faavorite student/successor, and a trusted guard standing on both sides of him.
‘good tomorrow will be the first day the great elder will first taste defeat, i hope he likes it because from then on it will be a game of politics, that his brute strength won’t solve’ Mak said and began to laugh loudly as crow chuckled in the corner also knowing that the trap which they had laid out the next day could not fail unless a god or the great elder himself intervened to save him.
