‘Huh? Wife?’ Tor asked laughing a bit as his pupils changed back to its. Regular black color and the silent pressure which had been oppressing the ‘Lightning delights died down. ‘I’m happy you at least think I’m funny’ Tori said with a smile as she dropped the tray and sat on the bed. ‘Mhm very funny because the last time I checked I didn’t even have a girlfriend.’ Tor responded as he observed Tori. ‘Well I did tell you not to worry about the small details but I will tell you what I can once you eat.’ Tori responded as she pointed at the food on the tray she came in with which was neatly filled with Tor’s favorite meals. He was going to keep interrogating her but something told him she wouldn’t respond unless he did what she had ordered. ‘Ok, but your story better be good.’ He said in a cynical tone as he sat down and unceremoniously started to wolf down on the food. ‘Hmmm? How careless of you, would you just eat any meal offered to you by a masked girl because it has your favorite meals? What if it’s poisoned?’ Tori asked still on the bed as Tor sat next to her eating like he really had no care. ‘Well I’m only doing this because I trust you for some reason and I’m sure what you have to say is definitely worth hearing.’ Tor said as he calmly looked into Tori’s eyes. ‘I remember these eyes and I feel they would never lie to me.’ After hearing these words from Tor she could not help but blush and smile under the mask that revealed no expressions. ‘Since you trust me so much I can’t help but also put my life in your hands.’ Tori responded and at the same time she took off her mask revealing her beautiful face and golden eyes which when taken into full view with her beautiful black hair and flowing gown she looked like a goddess who fell on this earth by mistake.
Tor could see her face and he was assured that she really had a place in his memory but for some reason this was the first time he had thought the words ‘most beautiful ever’ and he couldn’t help but smile. ‘Huh what kind of reaction is that? Usually people would be stunned and keep staring at me or they would immediately tell me how much they love me and all I get from you is a slight smile.’ Tor had definitely seen a lot of beautiful women which included May and Jin but he could clearly feel the regal and Devine aura coming from her. She on the other hand was currently pouting which really contrasted his impressions of her. ‘No I was definitely stunned and you are undoubtedly beautiful but that makes it more weird that a powerful girl who is equally as beautiful would just randomly call herself my wife.’ Tor said still leading the conversation back to the explanation he was looking for. ‘Oh you said equally as beautiful as she is powerful? Well I happen to be crazy powerful, like unbelievably powerful.’ She said giggling and rolling on the bed as she made exaggerated gestures to describe her powers which in turn made Tor laugh. ‘I know. So let’s say I believe you’re my wife, so why did you appear now?’ Tor asked as he was done with the last bit of food on the tray and looked at Tori’s face which had an accomplished smile on it.
’I like the fact that you used the word appear cause I’ve always been with you, since you were a baby, growing up in the fortress, sneaking out with May, I know everything about you, but let’s say at some point it became too dangerous for us to be together.’ Tori said explaining in a summarized manner but her casual utterances seemed to be holes in his memory which he could not pry into, but it was true because May also told him about trips they made to secluded realms, he couldn’t even remember ever leaving the ‘Spatial Fortress’ before now.
’So you had to leave when there was danger?’ Tor asked trying to get more about what he was missing from such a fragmented and summarized story, if he was sure of one thing though, she was definitely trying to hide the past from him under that playful smile and casual remarks there was more hidden. ‘No, I hid for some time and got rid of them when they weren’t satisfied that we were separated.’ She still continued her summary and gave no details away. ‘Could it be that you really don’t remember me hubby?’ She asked pretending to be hurt. She knew the reason why he could not remember parts of his past but made no actions to suggest that. On the other hand Tor could tell she really was not going to reveal his past and since it was also a minor issue to him he knew that her being there would have had something to do with Jin’s situation. ‘Ok I’ll come clean and tell you I can’t really remember what happened from birth till age five and for the remaining five years I have a photographic memory of every single event so forgive me if we had met when we were younger and it is nice to meet you Tori ‘The Moon Princess’. Tor said as though officially accepting her introduction while he stood up and gave a slight bow giving off an air of grace. ‘So let me rephrase my question, I am sure you are here to help me save Jin or you wouldn’t have risked exposing yourself since you’ve been hidden for not less than five years.’ Tor said in a business manner while looking into her big golden pupils. ‘Ugh okay I’ll do it just cause it’s you. From what I can tell Jin housed two Phoenixes within her body but only one Divine core was formed, during the fight both phoenixes powers was raised substantially and now her core is too small for space and fire to share a room and therefore the current core is unstable and threatening to shatter once both phoenixes are done with their evolution.’ Tori said explaining the situation with kind of surprised Tor and even revealed to him that the only sore spot where she tended to be secretive was about ‘their past.’

‘Ok you sound more dependent than uncle Ter, so is there anyway to fix it? How long would it take before the core shatters? What would happen if it does?’ Tor asked trying to gauge the level of urgency and the degree of danger the situation brought. ‘Well judging from the amount of mana she ‘ate’ during the battle and her using her real strength for the first time, the phoenixes are excited and wish to show off, so two years at most. Without a core to house the mana and the phoenixes they could tear their way out of her body only to burn out in a day or two. Such stupid creatures.’ Tori continued her analysis and diagnosis which further improved Tor’s impression of her. ‘You still haven’t told me the solution.’ Tor said in anticipation while all formality and suspicion was gone at this point. ‘Well what can I say, there are three fixes, one I could devour one of the phoenixes depends on which you choose and her core could House the one left easily while her power is still boosted but it would be half of what it should be.’ Tor gave her a glaring look which she responded to with a giggle. ‘I haven’t even listed two and three yet, Two, we could hunt and kill two divine phoenixes and take their cores, this is hard because phoenixes are rarer that cryptonite in this realm and the possibility of finding two divine phoenixes is impossible but that would have greatly boosted her power and stabilized it.’
’You mean murder two people and take their cores right? What’s the third option?’ Tor responded with a bit of distaste in his mouth, he was not the type to kill and rob just in order to obtain what he wanted. ‘The face you’re showing now suggests you don’t like my methods. Anyways before I tell you the third option you have to promise to never divorce me and we will always live together.’ This demand from Tori made Tor laugh. ‘Look at a little girl like you being worried by such things. If you are truly serious, until the day you ask for a divorce I would always be with you.’ This time Tori was blushing in the dimly lit room and her expression couldn’t be hidden by the darkness and this made Tor think that maybe she was serious. ‘For the third method, ‘The city of Liberation.’ Plan to go after the only identified divine Phoenix on this planet, I also happen to know that they plan to get the Phoenix using her little daughter age ten who is currently on vacation with her grand parents in the city of glass. We wait till the last second, thwart their plan and take the Phoenix core, add one more to Jin and she would stabilize while her original core heals.’ Tori said as she cashed her chips in with this final solution even though she knew Tor would be unwilling. ‘Don’t worry I would never let you hurt innocent people, just leave the despicable things to me.’ Tori said as Tor observed her he felt as though this time she had truly ripped off her mask and all he could feel from her was hurt and loneliness.
