Dino woke up feeling happy. He tried tapping on mado to wake them up, but nothing happened. He then tried crawling around Mados' surface to see if he could find Mados' eyes. He remembered when he was really young, he used to be able to wake up his parents and siblings by pulling their eyes open when they were sleeping. He climbed all around mado trying to find his eyes but couldn't find them. Maybe the holes were his eyes, but that would mean he slept in one of Mados' eyes… maybe they didn't need eyes to see, or maybe they didn't need to see at all. Besides it was very dark in space and most of it was y'know space, so you don't really need eyes to float around and do nothing in a seemingly endless void. That could also explain how mado crashed into earth. Dino could never imagine mado just deciding to crash into earth just because. Killing millions of dinosaurs all over the world. Mado had to have crashed into earth by accident.

Dino looked back at the earth, and it was strange. The world was still burning everywhere else but at the top of earth everything was starting to turn white. It looked like snow or ice. It was creeping down the earth. Slowly infecting the earth with the cold. How was this happening? The whole world was on fire just yesterday and now it was starting to freeze over. In that case maybe mado is in hibernation. Then again, the things happening on earth probably won't affect something that lives in space, plus even if mado was hibernating dino would still have been able to wake them up. No one can sleep that hard, and dino was an expert at annoying people into waking up. So, what was wrong with mado? Dino didn't know.

Dino spent the next 5 days trying to wake up mado, and observing and learning from anything he could. The ice that started from the tip of the earth had spread all over earth. The earth was now only snow and ice. There's no way any animal or dinosaur could survive this

The longer he spent in space the lonelier he felt. Yea he had mado but mado doesn't really do much. It is nice though to at least just hang out with someone. On earth dino was also alone a lot but not to this extent. On earth he was alone but there were still other dinosaurs and animals around him. Yea they all feared him and avoided him as much as possible but at least they were around. Unlike here, where this place seemed to go on forever and the only form of life around is a rock thing that is a very VERY deep sleeper. It's so boring. There's no lake to splash in, there's no tree to ruffle their leaves, there's no wind, and most importantly there was nothing else to observe and question. After 7 days in space dino knew everything about the place already. So, he thought

He finally noticed something. He was seeing the earth right now from a different viewpoint than he did 7 days ago. 7 days ago, he was looking at the left side of the Pangea, now he's looking at the middle part of Pangea. He also noticed that he was viewing the earth from a little more downward then 7 days ago. This was strange. It probably was because mado had been moving left for the past 7 days, but they weren't going down. were they? dino couldn't tell. Besides even if it was because they were going left for 7 days straight, they would have been farther away from the earth. Dino was seeing the earth from the same distance as he was 7 days ago. How could this be?

Dino also noticed that the moon looked closer. Then it did 7 days ago. Maybe he will be able to catch up to the moon. Maybe he’ll find other people!!! But to find the other people he would have to abandon mado, because if mado was able to destroy the whole earth dino couldn't imagine what would happen to the moon. It would probably explode. Dino couldn't abandon mado though. It didn't feel right. Mado saved him and they are the first parental figure/sibling dino has had in years. plus, he's the first friend dinos ever had. So, he won't try to go to the moon. He will just stay wandering through space, exploring and figuring out more about it. But dino wanted to meet other creatures. But what if they treat him just like they did on earth. What if everyone fears him and tries to avoid him. Besides to them he will be a random creature they had never seen before hopping onto their planet from a giant rock looking thing that would have made their planet explode if it was moved just a little bit. dino was going to stay with mado

With that dino decided to call it a night. Tomorrow he will see his viewpoint of the earth change again to test his theory. He patted mado to say gn and made a nest out of one of their holes… eyes? Dino didn't want to think of the only semi comfortable spot to sleep was mados eyes. Lying down, Dino was able to confirm something. This thought had been at the back of his mind but he didn't want to even think of the possibility. That mado was dead, but mado couldn't be dead because they were still warm. When his mom was alive, she told him that one way to know if your prey is alive or not is to see if they are warm. If they are still warm, they are alive. But if they're cold then they're dead.
