The morning sun shone high above the sky blessing the world with its light. The world seemed tranquil to the unaware but underneath the beautiful façade, a dark atmosphere was spreading.
The forest had become unusually silent as all creatures seemed to be aware of a storm coming their way. Everything had been made clear and the warriors were ready for the fight.
Charles was confident about their victory and he had impressed that fact on to his followers. His deep confidence came from Richard’s words and further acknowledgement from Athena herself.
The fact that he had direct communication with his object of worship had sent him over the moon and nothing could bring him down.
Charles led the group towards the Forest radiating absolute assurance which helped the followers keep their spirits. The confidence meant that the warriors would be able to fight with hundred percent of their capability or even higher. Fear and uncertainty could cause the fighting capability to lessen and make people lose to weaker foes.
The forest on the side of their target was completely engulfed by the mist, making it almost impossible to locate the creatures.
Charles signaled Noah to start the operation and with the signal, the warriors took hold of their bows and shot arrows.
The arrows had burning herbs attached to them which were an irritant to insects. The creatures starting making noise and gave away their position.
Charles used his Ki sense to get hold of their positions and the foundation warriors started shooting arrows enhanced with Ki towards their targets.
The targets were far and surrounding by trees, so no normal type of archer could reach them. But, warriors on the foundation realm could use techniques that allowed the arrows to perform unnaturally.
Noah shot arrows to the sky and they dived down once they reached above their target.
The arrow was a like a cannonball and destroyed the wasp’s head on contact.
With first volley, 5 wasps dropped dead.
The attack alarmed the creatures and they started moving towards the offenders. It was the purpose of the attack since going inside the wasps territory was asking for avoidable deaths.
With violence on their minds, the wasps rushed towards the warriors along with 100’s of other beasts that had become their victims.
Half of the enemies came towards them, leaving half to protect the Hive.
With the wasp’s movement, Charles moved to the next step and sprinted away from the wasp territory with his followers.
The warriors didn’t hesitate and moved orderly with their master. The enemies chased after them while being hit by few attacks, to keep them focused.
Charles slowed down and ended up at back end of the group. Arriving at the position, he kept watch over the surrounding and unleashed an attack.
Coming to a stop, he held his war hammer high and brought it down like a lightning bolt.
Flame Wave
Using five percent of his energy in the move, Charles unleashed a devastating blow from a D rank move. The move released a flame wave from the hammers impact that grew bigger the further it went and reached 10 meters in height and 3 meters in width.

The sudden attack destroyed many of the weaker enemies, the controlled beasts, while majority of the wasps survived the attack.
But, it was not the end. The forest beasts that served Max and Jack ambushed the enemies that had been stunned.
Noah and the other warriors also followed along, making the battle one sided as the wasps were surrounded and outmuscled.
It was an overwhelming victory for Charles, but he didn’t let down his guard. He was still unaware of the method that was utilized to bring these creatures into his territory.
Plus, the normal wasps weren’t the problem. The problem was the guardian and the Queen.
With the annihilation of the wasps that pursued the group, Charles and the group went back towards the wasp territory to finish the battle.
The dead wasps were left unattended even though their body parts were worth a pretty penny. Some warriors did feel the desire to take them but the overall mood didn’t allow them to voice such words.
With half of the work done, the group had increased in bravery and it was especially true with the addition of the forest rulers.
Returning to the Wasp territory, Charles observed the location while the followers used their Hawks to survey the area.
The archers used the same tactic but this time the Wasp’s didn’t play along like the previous time. With their attack, it was apparent that the pursuing wasps had been killed.
The Wasp Queen understood that it had made a wrong move and couldn’t allow a repetition. It was a young wasp queen that hadn’t been through much combat, or it would have been aware of the tactic.
With the knowledge that the other party was prepared for them, the Queen protected the group with a wind barrier and made it impossible for the archers to get their targets.
The battle came to a stalemate.
Charles had expected such an outcome and looked around one last time, but still couldn’t find any hidden enemy.
This fact would have made him retreat but with Athena’s blessing, he was not worried and charged forth with certainty.
With his red armor and bull like helmet, Charles walked into the forest with his large War Hammer that was 1 meter in length and weighed one tonne.
Charles preferred heavy equipments as his bloodline gave him huge strength boost.
With Charles moving towards the enemy territory, the group followed while the forests beasts moved from the other side.
Charles started building up speed and power as he moved. He locked down the Hive and unleashed his ultimate move that took up 30 percent of his energy.
Like an enraged bull, Charles charged towards his target. His body was covered in flames that reached 1000 degrees Celsius and his speed was like that of meteor.
His charge was noticed by the Queen and Guardian.
The creatures hastily brought up a Wind barrier to stop his advance. The other Wasps were ordered to move aside while multiple barriers were put in place to slow Charles down.
Charles slowed down due their efforts and quickly brought down his hammer to release the final attack. With the hammer crashing into the ground, the earth shook and everything around him was blown away by a shockwave.
Charles controlled his attack and stopped it from affecting his followers.
Along with the shockwave, a huge flame bull was unleashed that rushed towards the Queen.
The attack broke through the defense and was about to hit the Queen, when someone interfered. It was a Royal Guard.
The Royal Guard was something beyond Charles expectation. It was a creature that served a Queen Wasp that was atleast Core formation like Charles or Golden core realm.
It was the evolution of the normal guardian and specialized in speed. The creature was humanoid and held two plasma blades in both hands.
But, it was not the end. Beside the Royal Guard, there stood another monstrosity. It was a horrifying creature from the desert, called the Grinder Worm. It was 10 meters long and had spikes around its body that rotated at high speeds. It had multiple layers of sharp teeth that also rotated at high speeds, grinding everything in their path.
Both creatures were exceptionally powerful and on the same rank as Charles.
Charles had definitely expected a trap, but what he witnessed was beyond his wildest dreams.
He still couldn’t get around the fact that these creatures appeared in his territory.
‘The Myriad Beasts Association!’ Charles thought as it was the only group that specialized in beasts to such a high degree and had the ability to move around beasts so silently.
Even though it seemed to be a hopeless situation, Charles didn’t feel fear or worry. He was chill and ready to fight.
The wind suddenly picked up, dispersing the mist and an ethereal giant figure could be seen behind Charles group.
It was floating in the sky and could be seen from miles.
It was Athena in her battle gear. Her facial features couldn’t be seen. She wore her helmet, carried a spear in her right hand while a shield was in front of her. Her red cape blew with the wind and she pointed with her spear.
“Let victory come to the Brave.”
Hymn of Victory was heard and covered everyone on Charles side while weakening the enemy.
