The Elf King Fhiron

"...Zzzzzz...zzzzZzzz..."

Sleeping in broad daylight out in the open wilderness of the outside lands was a man. He slept on the side of a dirt road. He lay on his side with one hand hoisting his head up. He was fast asleep, his hand rubbing his belly and even scratching it a few times. He was so carefree in the land of danger where the wilderness of Midgard existed.

"Nip Nip N~ip!"

Sneakily hiding in the bushes were three sneaky creatures, they were known as Goblins. Green and small, holding spears that were twice the size of their body; they all approached the sleeping man in a horde, one was meant to steal, another meant to keep their victim at bay while they were being mugged, and another one as a mage. Goblins were versatile all around and planned accordingly to get what they wanted.

The Goblin's little group didn't have to keep their victim at bay, however, since they were already fast asleep. Actually, up close it didn't look like any normal man. His appearance seemed to be that of an... Elf...?

"Nagaruu, Nagaruu!?"

One of the goblins turned to question his brethren, commenting that this person was an elf.

"Gaboo taboo!"

The leader goblin of the group would egg the thief goblin on, as he now approached the sleeping elf. They couldn't believe it, this robbery was easier than they thought!

"Naaamehhh?"

The Thief goblin exaggerated his emotion of surprise whilst removing jewelry from the sleeping elf.

"Daa~Ta, Daa~Ta!!!"

The goblin placed all the jewelry inside his bag and jumped back and forth on each foot cheering. The others seemed to be clapping at their success before they quickly ran away from the area and left in a hurry into the forest.

Half an hour had now passed, and a loud carriage was heard driving against the bumpy dirt road.

"So what exactly are the outside lands by the way Grimhild? I didn't really travel through the outside lands to get to Mesnil, instead, I used teleportation magic with the ring I had stolen. Too bad I threw it on the ground because I felt ashamed of myself… we could've gotten there easier."

"The Outside land is the size of two countries if I would compare it to other average-sized countries. It has no government or laws, only wildlife, animals, and other creatures. Those that wish to not stay in a country with a government or rules would migrate here, thus it's very dangerous. It's killed or be killed most of the time here..."

Elizabeth's eyes broadened up.

"Scary..."

"Hey, don't you both hear that?"

Kyto questioned Grimhild and Elizabeth.

"...Hear what?"

Liz exclaimed.

"YOU THIEVES! DAMN, YOU THIEVES! Return my armaments back to me now! My jewelry as well!"

"E-EH?"

Elizabeth would peek her head off the side of the carriage and could see a man shouting. He appeared to be—

"HE'S NAKED??!"

Full-blown naked.

"....."

Grimhild had also peeked her head to the side, her expression seemed... unsettling.

"I know this man..."

"You do? Who is he Grimhild? And why is he naked...?"

Elizabeth looked back to the golden mage.

"I don't know... but we'll be finding out soon."

Kyto sighed, resting his face upon the palm of his hand.

"...Sigh... more weirdos to deal with."

The carriage came to a halt, Grimhild leaping outside of it with her staff.

"You there, Fhiron, put some clothes on you idiot."

The naked man who screamed into the forest would turn his head, his eyes widening. He knew this voice, and his surprised expression proved it.

"By the name of Odin... it's really you Grimhild?"

The Elf quickly ran towards the golden mage with wide arms.

"My goddess! I've missed you so much Grimhild! Where have you beeeeennn?!!~"

"GODDESS?" (Elizabeth & Kyto)

"Put some clothes on you carefree Oaf!"

Grimhild arched her leg back before slamming it right into the underside of the elf's crotch.

"OOOOOAAAHH..."

The elf yelled in pain, his body jolting upwards from the immense force of the kick.

"Ouch... that has to hurt..."

Elizabeth cringed from the pain that the elf expressed, however for Kyto he would slowly subj back into the carriage, balling himself up and hugging his knees.

"I never want to get on her bad side... she just ruined that man's entire generation. I hope he had kids before meeting Grimhild..."

"G-Grimhild... you haven't changed...!"

The elf gasped in pain as he nervously laughed underneath her.

"I have missed you dearly my Grimhild! Wait n-no... the entire race of elves have missed you!!!"

"Is that so? How is Avery doing?"

Fhiron returned to his feet quickly, his naked appearance making itself more noticeable.

"....Seriously, where are your clothes?"

Grimhild said. She was short, thus she had a full view of... this man's privacy. The Golden mage's expression was annoyed.

"Ahahaha! Worry not about that Grimhild, it was stolen by a bunch of goblins. Anyways Avery is doing fine, she says she misses you greatly and wishes for you to return back to our realm, Lothlórien!"

"I shall return once the ~King~ gets his act together and becomes more reliable."

Grimhild turned around and made her way back to the carriage.

"Anyways nice to see you again, I'm off. I don't wanna be seen talking to some naked man. People will get the wrong idea from how small I am."

Fhiron suddenly backed up some and covered his crotch.

"I didn't think of that... um, could you provide this king here some clothes?"

Grimhild would bare a grin, her head slowly turning to face the Elf.

"I don't know, should I?"

Grimhild sarcastically responded.

"This guy is... the elf king of the Lothlórien realm? You have to be kidding me, this is like a dream come true..."

Kyto expelled his emotion of surprise, proceeding to hop outside the carriage, jogging towards Fhiron as if he was an excited child.

"E-Excuse me, King Fhiron!"

Fhiron turned his head to the child marching his way over, and running past Grimhild, however, he was stopped by an invisible force. It was as if he slammed into a wall, pushing him backward into the ground.

"OOMPH—"

Kyto fell right onto his back, rubbing his backside in pain.

"Ow... what just happened?"

He looked up at Fhiron with a clueless expression.

"Kyto, you alright?"

Elizabeth soon hopped out of the carriage and ran over to Kyto, holding him around the neck and picking him up.

"That looked like it really hurt, is all well?"

Kyto who ran into some invisible force would feel his mana slowly being drained mysteriously.

"...Ngh... my mana is leaving my body..."

Liz looked at Grimhild with a worried expression.

"G-Grimhild do something! There's something wrong with Kyto!"

Fhiron would sigh to himself.

"He caught mana cancer. As of now he just went inside the radius of my aura, causing him to catch it in an instant."

Elizabeth's eyes were instilled with fear.

"Mana Cancer? How did he catch something so life-threatening by your mere aura!? N-No, Kyto talk to me!"

Elizabeth quickly stepped back a few feet away from Fhiron, and dropped Kyto down to the dirt road gently.

"How can we get rid of it? Mana Cancer is severely dangerous! It drains mana from one's Mana force until they're dead! It has to be something we can do, right Grimhild!?"

Kyto leaned his head down with an expressionless set of emotion, proceeding to groan in pain and hold his chest.

"There was a reason I only went to approach Fhiron. You should've stayed put Kyto. You know nothing of the outside lands, as well as you, Elizabeth. Maybe this will be a lesson to you both from now on. Only I take the lead, for I am more experienced. Remember, I am very old."

Grimhild made her way over to Kyto and placed her small palm on his head.

"Analyzation."

A large magical circle would appear on top of Kyto's head. Grimhild had an entire view of his DNA, atoms, mana force, and all.

"It seemed that he's caught stage three of Mana cancer, he could die at this rate. Only the power of a witch or god can cure stage three Mana cancer..."

"W-Wait a witch? A god? How are we gonna find a witch? And how are we gonna cooperate with a god? That's impossible!"

Elizabeth pulled Kyto in closer as his entire body was being analyzed by Grimhild.

"Well, the one who caused the Mana cancer can also get rid of it, though it won't work for Fhiron."

All of a sudden Fhiron approached the three with clothing. The way he got the clothes was mysterious, but that didn't matter as of now.

"The reason I cannot get rid of it is due to my nature as an elf. You know, my people despise humans, thus their bodies evolved from their hate to make forcefields around their bodies for humans. Whoever steps foot inside the forcefield that is human, will obtain Mana cancer."

Fhiron looked down in regret.

"I am sorry, I thought you were traveling with other Witches Grimh—"

"Quiet!"

Grimhild quickly shut up Fhiron from finishing his sentence.

"I'll do it. I'll heal Kyto, and let him learn from his mistakes. I know a bit of ancient magic. If there's anything that I believe in, it is fairness. It's fair that Elizabeth receives punishment for stealing, thus I'll make sure she gets it, however, for her petty crime such as stealing a family ring, she needs a minor punishment, not life or death. This is my way of living, and it is the only thing I know, ever since I was born."

Grimhild would de-cast the magical circle on Kyto's head.

"His mana force is losing its mana, it must be fixed immediately."

Elizabeth would look up at Grimhild with teary eyes.

"I-I'm sorry for the sudden question Grimhild, but what is Mana Force exactly? I know it's something mana comes from… but that's it."

Grimhild would fix the hat upon her head and glanced at Elizabeth.

"Mana forces are the essence of all life, be it Humans, gods, elves, giants, and more. One's mana force is abstract in nature, and it holds spells and a supply of mana for everyone. Each Mana force varies in size and nature, depending on how strong one is. As an example: One with stronger spells and magic would have a larger mana force than others who has weaker spells and magic."

Grimhild would project a magical hologram inside her hand, it looked like a large blue-ball of fire.

"This is how one's mana force looks. Blue Mana forces indicate the person is of good nature, and Red mana forces indicate that person is of evil nature. They're 4th-dimensional constructs, and nothing of the 3rd dimension can interfere with them. The only way to tamper with something such as the Mana forces is by being a god or witch, as their power can easily destroy 4th-dimensional planes. Luckily the mana cancer hasn't exactly forced its way inside his mana force, it is only sapping his mana slowly. There's still time to save him."

Elizabeth had heard everything the golden mage had said, taking a hesitant breath.

"I-I see... so that means he can live. You're amazing as always Grimhild..."

The golden Mage would close her eyes, turning her head to the side.

"I'm only babysitting, nothing more. Now put him on the carriage, and you stay away Fhiron!"

The Elf King backed up some more, raising up his hands.

"I got it, I got it!"

Grimhild still didn't reveal herself as a witch to any of them. She wanted her identity to be hidden as of now. Even if Kyto received mana cancer inside his mana force, then Grimhild would still have the power to save him, however, she didn't wanna expose herself to them. Only Fhiron knew of her truly.

Elizabeth proceeded to place Kyto upon the carriage in the back, Grimhild now climbing back inside.

"Let the Magic-therapy begin."
