Attack of the Goblins

The area lit up in a green hue. Birds in the sky seemed to fly around a large green beacon, cawing in the sky while they fluttered about. This large beacon was a beacon of alleviating origins. Its purpose you may ask? To heal.

*Cough, cough* — *GASP*

Kyto would lay on the back of the carriage floor, his eyes looking into the sky at the large green beacon that was being emitted from his body. He could see white birds all over the sky, believing he was reaching death's door.

"Am I nearing... Valhalla...?"

Kyto exclaimed as he saw Grimhild and Elizabeth sitting next to him.

"No Kyto, you'll be alright! Grimhild is taking care of you!"

Kyto gasped in pain at her reply, trying to turn on his side.

"N-No... stop it..."

"Huh? What are you doing? Lay back straight!"

Elizabeth shouted.

Grimhild who had her hands over his stomach would suddenly stop, the green light fading in the sky.

"...You will die if I don't heal you Kyto."

Grimhild uttered in a stern voice.

"Someone like me doesn't deserve to be saved. I'm always putting you guys in unnecessary trouble, and making a fool out of myself every time. I'm only slowing down this group, and nothing more..."

He would now sit up in the carriage, the other two going quiet.

"That's not true Kyto, and you know it!"

Elizabeth replied back, her voice sounding bold and heavy.

"You've done nothing but provide support to us!"

"Then tell me... what is the most supportive thing I've done here, Elizabeth...?"

Liz suddenly went quiet, her eyes swiftly moving around.

"...U-Um—"

*SMACK*

"Ngh... ow—"

Kyto placed his palm on top of his head before he was pinned to the floor again.

"G-Grimhild...?"

He looked up at the Golden mage who started the healing process again.

"There's no time to be whining right now. It has only been three days since we've known each other, and you are already complaining about doing nothing. The reason you did nothing supportive is because I am taking the lead! The same goes for Elizabeth as well, she's done nothing useful just like you. But if you really want to go on the frontlines in our journey, fine. I'll allow it."

Grimhild closed her eyes, her voice was quite deep despite her appearance.

"You both are being idiots. If you want to do something useful then you better show you can do it well, understand?"

Kyto blinked a few times up at Grimhild, his smile arousing slowly.

"U-Understand Grimhild... thank you for caring for my feelings. For so long I've always been supportive and taken the lead back in my hometown Desmoybia. This truly makes me happy."

*Fwumph*

The sound of an arrow collided with the carriage all of a sudden, it's head sticking through it as many others followed behind

Thump, fwumph, thump!

"Those damn goblins!"

Fhiron was heard outside as he cast a protective spell in front of him, blocking out the arrows.

"Goblins are attacking us? Oh no, they'll ruin the Magic therapy! I gotta do something fast!"

Liz quickly hopped outside the carriage and would stance herself.

"Little girl, what are you doing? Do you want to die? Those arrows have poison that can kill a human fifty times over in an instant!"

Fhiron shouted at Liz who stood in front of the flowing arrows.

"HYAH! HA! TA~YA!"

As more arrows aimed for the carriage, she kicked one away, chopped another in half, and would grab one to send it right back twice the speed into the forest. A goblin was heard yelling in pain as the arrow struck them, killing them in an instant.

"S-She's incredible. Such speed and precision with her attacks. This human has mastered her fighting skills more than her magic..."

Fhiron was astounded by Elizabeth's display of skill.

"I am a Non-Mana user. I was born without mana, so I honed my skill in fighting. No one in this world can defeat me in hand-to-hand combat, definitely not some Goblins who only use stupid bows and arrows!"

Elizabeth was in her martial art stance, suddenly punching forward, ripping space, and opening a portal in front of her.

"My strength is too much for you goblins!"

As she punched a hole in space, she proceeded to kick right into the Spatial-hole, slamming her foot directly into some random goblin's cheek. She proceeded to jump inside the Spatial-gate, battling multiple of them at once.

"This girl managed to rip an entire hole in space by punching...? The level of strength you need to do that is unreal. I see you're traveling with some powerful allies, Grimhild."

Fhiron would have a golden-like aura suddenly flare around his body.

"Alright, this is fun! I'm getting fired up alongside you Elizabeth! Let's get my belongings back from these filthy thieves!"

Fhiron laughed like a crazed maniac and would suddenly dash his way into the Spatial gate created by Elizabeth, joining her in her fight.

"...Those two are loud, can't they see I'm concentrating?"

Grimhild exclaimed. Even though one of the arrows could damage her, she wasn't worried.

"Flowing Water Rush!"

Elizabeth quickly changed her style of fighting against the horde of goblins inside the forest, moving her arms and legs like water which was impossible to predict. Even the most expert fighter would be unable to predict her. She repelled arrows and even jabbed her fingers like spears into the Goblin's body, blowing holes through them.

"Fire Magic: Unrelenting Hell!"

Fhiron fought alongside Elizabeth in the forest against the Goblins. Unleashing his magical spell, a large explosion of Elf-flames traveled through the forest in fifty meters, burning away the goblins like paper in a furnace. The Elf-Flames were capable of incinerating one down to their molecules. The Goblins all screamed in pain, however, Elizabeth managed to repel the Elf-flames by forming a protective barrier around her from using nothing more than her martial arts. The barrier was formed from high winds and her Flowing Water Rush, keeping her safe from the large AOE.

"Geez, could you settle down with the magic— HUH? KING FHIRON!?"

She didn't even notice him fighting with her, their battle causing immense damage to the forest and even starting wildfires.

"That was excellent Elizabeth! Who knew you had such skill in battle? I am astounded by your level of martial arts! It even surpasses mine. Ahahaha!"

He placed his hands on his hips laughing into the sky.

"Will you be my woman?"

Elizabeth would suddenly go quiet.

".....What?"

The king stepped forward to Elizabeth, suddenly grabbing her hands and holding them tightly.

"Will you be my woman Elizabeth? And sit with me on my throne."

Liz would find herself blushing out of nowhere, her eyes flauntingly moving around in disbelief.

"I-I... um... well—"

"There's not one woman who declined me. My other wives will love a new addition inside of my household as well!"

"Wait what?"

Elizabeth's blush would now vanish.

"Other wives...?"

"Yes, I have over 70,000 wives. My house is bigger than a mountain. I live in something called a world tree back in my realm, they're large with beautiful branches of Sakura Petals—"

"Yeah, no way in hell! I'll pass. THAT IS WAY TOO MANY WIVES! I'm not joining someone's harem, I'm not that type of girl."

Elizabeth would step back some, her expression annoyed while Fhiron seemed shocked.

"Y-You cannot be serious? Not one woman has ever denied me, nor have I ever been with a short lady before. Please hear me out Eliza—"

"WATCH OUT!"

Liz suddenly pushed Fhiron back, slamming him into a tree.

"Ngh... agh...!"

Liz would notice her arm bleeding as she groaned in pain, the surprise attack got her while she tried to save Fhiron.

"It's an arrow, I'm poisoned..."

She quickly took out the arrow and threw it onto the ground, her body stumbling back and forth as she tried to hold her ground.

"Oh no— Elizabeth!"

Fhiron quickly recovered and ran over to the Non-mana user, gently capturing her inside his arms. Many other arrows were heard swooshing behind them at high speeds, but the elf quickly cast a magical barrier behind him, blocking the arrows from colliding with them.

"Speak to me Elizabeth, you cannot die! You risked your life to save me, I won't let such an honorable person pass away!"

He placed his hand on her chest, the veins seen in her neck would turn dark purple.

"...It hurts... it hurts... badly... this poison..."

Fhiron shook her back and forth in a panic, the Rozenheart now falling unconscious. The sight made him believe that she had died, causing the king to go into a fit of rage.

"N-No. My foolish flirting has cost me an important life... damnit... what an idiot I am!"

Fhiron would stand up, his anger couldn't be subsided. He turned to face in the direction the arrows came from, proceeding to raise his hand.

"I'll Exterminate your entire race into nothingness, pathetic goblins! You'll meet my wrath! The wrath of an Elf King!"

Liz was cast in a protective barrier, and suddenly a bright golden light illuminated the forest. Fhiron was enraged.
