The Gods' Decree
I know your weakness

I know your weakness

I'll tell you everything that happened from I was a child until now"

He finally broke his silence and looked to the girl sitting next to him. He didn't mine disclosing to her these things as she was one of the few in his age group that he interacted with the city.

Even though most times they were at each other's throat, the truth is that apart from Old man Ming she was the closest person to him.

They had often talked about the different books they read as well as there thoughts of life outside the city.

The more he remembered those conversations the clearer the reason became for her reaction now.

" I guess I wasn't being as fair to her as I possibly could have been"

She perked up a bit and looked in his eyes with curiosity written all over her face.

The story started from his time making a living stealing from the gangs and running for his poor life Continuously afterwards. To be followed by the ultimate defeat of the Bing gang.

Although he was willing to tell her all things, he conveniently left out specific details of old man Ming. It wasn't that he didn't trust her, it was just that he knew it was best to keep some secrets.

After all, Mr Ming was an important part of his life and although the risk would be minimal by disclosing him. It didn't matter, as once there was a slight risk he would never take it.

While listening to his tale, May's face went through a variety of changes. She would at times laugh at his antics and then be struck by awe at his decisiveness.

He then disclosed how he had learnt to fight from a mysterious stranger 4 years ago. This he told her was the turning point on his road.

There was no need to talk about the rest, as the rumours throughout the city would have covered these things.

After finishing his tales he has a pair of brown eyes looking at him with a little smile on her face.

" Was that so hard?"

She asked while they sat on the bench looking at the animals frolicking around.

" Hmm..., so have you fallen for me?"

Without answering her question Taf followed up with one of his own. The once calm May was struck off guard and couldn't find the words.

" I know some can be drawn to me like a moth to a flame. What can I say it's my magnetism with the ladies"

He ceased the chance to tease the once ever unperturbed May.

" Are you saying I'll get burnt"

A counter was uttered as she regained her wit at the last moment and stared daggers back at him.

" Not at all as this flame is for protection"

Her smile blossomed once more as Taf uttered those words but was soon withdrawn with the next words he spoke.

" The waiting line is long though but seeing that I've known you the longest. I'll see if I can put you further ahead."

" After all there are princesses that only in their dreams can they have thoughts of chasing me"

A laugh was heard as he looked at the girl before him who stood up.

" Is that so? I guess I'll have to leave my mark on you then huh"

She had an evil grin on her face as she eyed Taf before her. He had a foreboding as he saw the grin on her face. Every time he saw that grin, he knew something bad was going to happen and usually it was to him.

" What....are you planning to do?"

He stuttered as he eyed the beauty before him who seemed to have cornered a prey.

" Others might not know your ultimate weakness sir Mouse, but this lady knows"

A grin was seen growing on her as she replied while watching the youth before her moving further away from her on the bench.

" Youuu...wouldnot? You promised me remember"

The words took time to come out as he prepared himself to dash away at any moment.

"I vaguely remember a deal being made when we were ten, but If I remember correctly my fingers were crossed at that time"

May smirked as she spoke and looked at him backing away.

" So this is the face the Mouse makes when he is fearful. Oh how I've missed it"

She moved closer as she had foreseen his plans of running at the moment.

" You dear to tease me like that. Now the question is how far in line am I indeed Mr so-called Charmer?"

Taf sprinted off but before he could fully escape May's grasp, he found himself flung to the green lush grass. Soon he felt two hands to his side under his shirt.

He tried to fight it but could only start laughing uncontrollably as her hands rubbed against his skin.

" May...haha, you better..hehe, stop.."

Laughter was heard through the park as one girl chased a boy who ran in fear and every time he was caught burst out in laughter.

Soon they could be seen sitting on the grass. May had a big smile on her face as she knew she had been victorious.

" I wonder what the look on the faces of those who view you as fiend that plagued their dreams be if they saw your current state"

She teased as Taf looked at her in fury and slight fear.

" You promised you wouldn't do that again.

May could not help but laugh as he fumed on the ground.

" In this city, there is one that you still have not defeated Mr big bad mouse."

On the ground, Taf couldn't help but smile after hearing her words. He looked on the girl that sat beside him that grinned while she spoke of her victory and felt the happiest he has been in a while.

" I wonder why Mr Charmer is looking at me with a smile plastered all over his face?"

She poked him in his sides before uttering those words.

" Just thinking there is no one else I would rather knowing that weakness of mine other than you. I mean just your slightest touch does make my seemingly cold body warm"

He couldn't help but say while thinking out loud before holding her warm soft hands.

" Hmm, sweet talking won't get you out of trouble the next time you tease me you rascal. "

.....

As the two spoke outside of Marvel City a gigantic hawk could be seen soaring through the sky in majestic fashion.

" So this is the city filled with mortals. The one they call Marvel City"
