Working like a Mad Demon
----------------------------------------
I start taking out some of the bone and bone marrow of the rabbits that I’ve killed. First, I take the bone and make sewing needles with them. After a few mistakes, and a pile of wasted bones, I finally get a sewing needle. Now, I can sew some of the furs that I have to make into better items.
I pull out some furs and get ready to sew them together, then I realize that I forgot I have nothing to make the furs stick together, which is very annoying.
Ok, so I need to find something that will be good to use, like string or something similar to keep it together. I know some doctors once used dental floss to stitch up wounds when we were desperate and a man really needed it. Since I can't make anything, this means that I need to find something suitable for stitching and stock up on leather and other materials to craft with as well. Since it is only around noon I think I will make some more needles, so I can hunt more.
I get started gathering more sizable sticks and start making more needles.
After I am done making about 3 dozen more it is already somewhere between 2 or 4 o’clock. Wow! I am becoming faster and faster at making needles, it must be that Carving skill. I get up and start hunting rabbits again. I clear the area closest to me and collect the material off of the rabbits.
After some time, I notice that I am running out of needles again and I finish collecting the rabbits that I had just killed. Heading back to my camp, I eat dinner and go to sleep.
-----
I wake up early in the morning and start to make more needles this time. I made about 5 dozen today I think that I am going to try to kill a fox, but I need to be more careful than usual as they are known to be faster, more cunning, and smarter.
I am done making needles and get up to start walk over towards the fox's spawn area. Even through there are rabbits nearby, they actually run away when they see me. I think they know who I am now. Haha! Imagine being called ‘King Rabbit Killer’ wow…what a lame name to have. I see a fox sitting there, lying down on the ground.
I get ready to throw the needle and hold my breath, then launch. The fox, like it has some sort of sixth sense, moves forward and the needle only scratches its belly. I jump back and ready another needle, but before I can even get the needle up to throw the fox is already pouncing directly at me. I try to dodge before it hits me by moving to the ground. The fox flies over me scratching my back, leaving a painful sensation behind.
I hit the dirt and my back feels like it’s burning from the scratches left by the fox, but I need to keep fighting. Even if it is a fox, a week creature can kill a stronger monster or man that doesn't fight back. I get back on my feet and get ready to throw another needle. I can't compete with the fox while it’s on the ground I am not fast enough to keep up with it, so when it is in the air I need to take it out.
I move back a few steps, the fox is looking at me from a distance with a cold, laughing look. Even it thinks that I am too weak to be a real threat. I think I need to show that fox who’s boss.
The fox takes a running start at me again and pounces at me, once again I throw the needle at it. I then dodge to the left and the fox goes flying over my right shoulder, leaving a few shallow marks.
I turn around to see that the fox now has a needle inside of it, not a killing blow, but it did puncture a lung, so it will die soon. The only question is when it will die. I throw another needle, this one lands on the side of it as it tried to dodge, lucky me that I was able to get the first needle to hit the fox while it was in midair, otherwise it could have dodged the second needle easily. However, being wounded makes it a little more difficult to dodge.
I go over and collect the material from the fox and then head back to camp so I can heal. I make it back to camp and start to tan the fox pelt that I have and the rabbit pelt that I haven’t done.

I bet you are wondering how I know how to tan leather and all this other stuff. Well, in most other virtual reality games I often practiced crafting skills, you could often get stat boosts from most of them. Also, often I would be out in the middle of some wilderness and often need repair gear that was too damaged from battle, or just craft brand new ones. That and often I would find ores or other stuff that I would need to refine, so that it would take up less space.
I wish I had a tanning rack so this would be easier to do. Right now I can only lay it down on some flat rocks to remove the meat off the pelts. After I am done I set them out to dry.
I really need some sources of string so I can make some gear.
After cooking a bit of food to eat I get up and head off to kill more rabbits. This was more for stress relief this time, it really hurt when that fox got my back. After a few hours of rabbit mass murder I head back to my camp and made dinner.
I decided to rest for some time even though I don’t get as tired as often as most things. The problem is that I am not stronger than most of the animals at night, even rabbits that I can kill with no trouble during the day will be much harder to kill during the night. I need to get stronger without just trying to level up, they won't really help much. They would give me a boost in some aspects but won't help me with 4 people at the same level.
No, I need to have a greater strength than them.
I will do like any other man that wants to get stronger or faster, and no it’s not taking steroids. I will work out to gain an edge. I know that it’s hard but one of the good things about virtual reality is that it isn't your real body. Now, humans have a limit in them, even robots have the limits that they are built with, and just like humans, robots cannot surpass that limit unless they get some sort of upgrade. However, in the virtual world there is no limit. That is one of the coolest things about it, you could even lift a mountain bench press planets, hold suns in the palm of your hand, nothing is impossible.
I get up and start to stretch, after a few minutes I get down and start doing pushups. In the real life I can do about 100 pushups before my arms give out and about the same for sit-ups. I start with doing my max amount of pushups before giving out. Once I am done I almost cry out of shame, I could only do 27 before I couldn't keep going!
After I got my wind back and drank some water. I start doing setups and did slightly better with 31 so that makes me feel better. Which reminds me I need to refill my water soon. It is weird how much water this thing holds, it’s got to be a special item of some kind.
I then start with my basic work outs to gain strength throughout the night sometimes resting for a bit to regain my strength. Once light starts to shine in the distance I stop for the night and make some food. While making some needles last night I went through a lot of food to regain my strength. I hope that if I continue this for a bit I will become stronger.
After I am done eating some food and making needles, I head out to hunt some more rabbits.
