I waved toward the silhouette and then the person started walking towards me. “Hello there, who are you and what are you doing here in this forest?” He asked, “HI there, My name is Willow, it has been a long while since I have seen another person before.” I said. “Well Willow, you seem like a nice, uhh, person… May I ask what subspecies of human you are?” “I am a human, well I was until I had been changed in an empire lab,” I said “So you are probably a new sub-species then, not uncommon but you seem to be like one of those insects around here, hey since it was the empire you probably have a grudge against them right?” “Yes I do, they killed my family with experiments and turned me into a monster!” I said “Well that’s nice because my colony is nearby, so if you ever need help out here just ask” “Oh that sounds nice, may I come and join the colony?” “Sorry but we don’t have any extra bedrooms at the moment and are having a food shortage because our farm got a blight, I was sent out here to go hunt and bring back some food for the colony. You could come but you’ll need to dig your bedroom out since we live in a mountain and go hunt for some stuff if you get hungry, but the colony would help you if you also help the colony out.” “That's fair enough, honestly I have been out here all by myself hunting anyways. Being with actual people would be very nice.” “That’s good because we are accepting new people at the moment, the colony is only 5 members including me right now so it is not much. My name is Dave by the way.” he says as he smiles “That is ok, also is it fine if I bring some pets of mine?” “What pets do you have? If it's anything dangerous then probably no.” He says. I call over the scarabs by name, “Steve, Mike, Zach, come to me please.” The scarabs quickly exit the hive and show them to Dave. “these Megascarabs will be fine as long as you keep them under control, they can get a bit rowdy when they are in big groups.” he says “wait you know about them?” I said “Yeah, the colony has visited a few other colonies and they have overrun some, they aren’t normally aggressive but will if they gather in numbers and feel like expanding their hive.” he said “Good to know about that, so where is your colony?” I said “oh just follow me back, I was heading back anyways before it becomes night,” He says
