When I woke up the sun was already setting, I must have slept through the whole day I thought to myself. Something else I noticed right away was that I was covered in some sort of lime-green sticky sap substance. I also noticed that all around me was a small area where all the grass was dead, I wondered what had happened but suddenly I had the nagging thought to go find another cave to have a new home in. I started wandering around the forest until I found a small tunnel on the side of a hill. I crawled into it and then I started digging.
I didn’t know why I was doing this and thought it was because whatever I was now had some sort of strong instinct to do stuff, like mauling that deer I ate yesterday and now I’m digging this hole because I want to for some reason. When I finished digging the hole My body started to feel very weak, I felt like I was in the middle of a fever, and more of the lime-green stuff started to seep out of my skin and drip onto the floor. My mind was telling me to mold the stuff into some sort of structure. I started picking up the goop and start molding it into a small mound of the stuff. When it was put together it suddenly solidified, turning into a structure of some kind
I was wondering what it was for but then I started feeling hungry again. I headed out of the hole and started wandering around near the hole. This time I had found a squirrel; I tried to sneak up on it but it had noticed me and quickly ran up a tree and out of view.

I wandered for another hour or two and then came across a river. I looked for any animals around the river and found a group of elks. They were all grouped up close together except one small one which looked like a baby. I could not believe what I was thinking of what I was going to do, I was starving and it would be an easy meal. I snuck up to the calf and when It was busy eating some grass facing away from the bush I was hiding in I pounced on it, the calf tried to run away but I had managed to injure its legs first. The calf cried in pain and fear as I was tearing chunks of skin and flesh off it. I had just killed a baby elk and felt a bit sad about it but my stomach was louder than my feeling at the moment. I ate the whole corpse in a matter of minutes, It was a frenzied feast. When I was done I looked back at the other elks by the river and with a nod of sorrow I headed back to the hole I had dug some time ago.
When I got back I noticed that the inside of the hole was covered in a layer of stuff that felt like raw meat. I would have found it revolting but for some reason, it felt comforting to me.
With the sun heading up again I went to sleep for the day.
