Trevor woke up early morning as he started to prepare for entering the gates today. He was very excited. Trevor was always a curious guy by nature. He felt the urge to explore things even if they were dangerous. He believed that life should not be restricted but should be as enjoyable as possible. In his opinion whether the brightest moments or the darkest times each added a different flavor to the dish called life.
Trevor wore the B rank armor Allister brought for him. It was a thin and light armor that covered him from his neck to his toes. It was dark blue and black in color and had an attractive sleek design. Trevor was excited to wear this armor ever since Allister brought it a few days ago. It was made from the scales of an A rank Water lord and could disperse all attacks below B rank. Trevor also had the C rank Blood Demon sword, it was able to inflict unhealable fatal wounds on monsters below C rank and severe bleeding wounds on C rank monsters but it had little effect on B rank monsters.

Trevor met up with the group in the morning and they went through the battle plan once again. Angelina was going to act as a shield while killing off a few minions while Cortis was going to attack from behind Angelina without worrying about his defense and Mia was going to support both of them by healing injuries and giving buffs to different stats. Trevor had to stand beside Mia and observe the battlefield. They all agreed to let Trevor have the last hit on the Boss monster after they beat it to a half-dead state.

"It's beautiful..." Trevor said as he looked at the gate in front of him. It was a circular portal as dark as the abyss and the lining of the portal was glowing with 4 colors.
This signified that this was a C rank gate. For example, every F rank gate had only one color it could be any of the colors from the visible spectrum ( rainbow colors) while an E rank gate has 2 colors and so forth till A rank. S rank gates had white light mixed in with the 7 colors and no one knew how to categorize gates above S rank.

The gate Trevor was about to enter was mostly sky blue with portions of green and dark blue. There were hints of violet and too which made a total of four colors.
" It is enchanting. I had the same reaction as you when I first saw it," said Angelina as she looked at Trevor who was standing in a daze gazing at the gate.
"Let's enter shall we ?" Angelina and the group went and stepped into the gate one by one. Angelina was the first, Mia was second while Trevor went third and Cortis entered after Trevor.
As soon as Trevor entered the portal his vision was covered by white light and in the next moment, he saw himself standing on a vast plain field. A moment later, he fell on his bottom as bolts of dizziness and nausea assaulted him.
" Don't worry you'll get used to it" Mia helped Trevor stand while Angelina and Cortis were alertly looking around to find any hostiles.
" The east and north side are clear," said Cortis.
"I can sense a few figures standing about 5 km in the west direction," said Angelina while her eyes closed as if she was trying to sense the slightest disturbance in her surroundings.
Trevor was amazed by their teamwork as they played their roles smoothly.
"Let's start moving towards the west slowly while scouting our enemies." ordered Angelina as the group started moving towards the Demon's nest. After half an hour of walking, the group hid in the bushes and observed the monster settlements. There were 5 tents in total. One of them was bigger than the rest and the other four were surrounding it from all four directions. Trevor deduced that it was the tent of the boss monster. Trevor was surprised at the appearance of the D rank minions, their appearance was exactly like a goblin in games except they were cramoisy and some of them were pith black.
" I suspect the black ones are mages be careful while handling them." said Angelina as they all prepared to attack the settlement.
"We should attack the four tents first to quickly finish the minions and then deal with the boss monster." said Cortis as both Angelina and Lea gave a nod. Angelina took the lead as Cortis followed behind her towards one of the smaller tents while Mea stayed behind to keep Trevor safe and support both Cortis and Angelina with buffs.
