Two days after the party

"Nice to meet you. I'm Asher Mitoss."

"Hey kid Welcome to our party. I'm group leader Angelina." said a beautiful lady with blonde hair. Her eyes were as blue as the sky. Her face was delicate and she was wearing a knight's white armor with golden patterns. She was gorgeous by 'Asher's standards' but gave off the vibe of a courageous warrior.

"Hello I am Cotis Frey. Nice to meet you too." said the gloomy guy standing beside Angelina. He had brown hair and deep black void-like eyes. He was wearing a long coat like black armor but what was special about his attire was the hood, it gave off his identity as an assassin.

"I.. I a-am Lea Armon. It's n-nice to meet you." said a girl in her early twenties with a shy expression. She was wearing a green colored robe and had a staff with a shining blue gem on its top. She had black hair and sharp black eyes and carried a mysterious charm. She was the healer of the group but she could also cast curses on her enemies.

"I should stay away from her" thought Trevor inwardly as he looked at the girl who was blushing like a teenager while looking at him.

These three were party members of the B rank Phoenix party.

Rey had told Trevor the procedure to join a party. It was quite simple. You could join a party by posting a commission in the Raider's association but usually, it's hard to find parties above D rank through this method. Another way was to use personal connections to directly get into a party. This was the way that Rey used. He just picked a party and told them he was the flame emperor's son. As soon as they heard that they immediately agreed to let him join their party in order to curry some favor from the flame emperor.

After giving it some thought Trevor decided to post a commission in the Raider's association but as he told his family about his plans to get his first kill, Alea got excited and Eleanor vehemently refused. After a huge debate, Allister decided that Trevor could go into the gates but he has to go with a party of some of Allister's friends.

Trevor looked at the Phoenix party members. Usually, a party contained of at least 6-7 members but the Phoenix party was an exception as their battle prowess was comparable to some of the A ranked parties. The reason why they only had three members was that no one could keep up with them. Angelina was an A rank raider with a legendary record while the other two were B rank but still were comparable to average A rank because of their specialties. To Trevor, this was his dream party as they treated others coldly but were always friendly towards Trevor. Angelina treated him as a nephew while Cortis treated him as a younger brother. Lea was always shy around him so Trevor felt a bit awkward talking to her. He was still new to his charming appearance. Even though he was usually not bothered by others' gazes, he felt uncomfortable sometimes.

" The gate we are going to raid is the C rank gate Demon's nest. It has D rank minion monsters which are controlled by a C rank boss monster. The minions have the agility of around 20 points and low strength however their main weakness is their lack of defense. The total number of minions is estimated to be around 200 with a few minion mages. " explained Cortis.

"How much time do you think it would take for us to clear the gate ?" asked Angelina while glancing at Trevor.

"Probably around 2-3 days." Although the other parties took nearly 3 days to clear this gate. Trevor deduced that even though the Phoenix party members were crazy strong, they still lacked numbers and thus would take almost the same amount of time.

" haha... How much time do you estimate, Cortis ?" Angelina asked as she let out a laugh.

"If there are no special circumstances, I predict it would end within a day." said Cortis with a smug expression.

Trevor was stunned. He could not think how a party of 3 members could clear faster than a party of 6 or 7. Generally, the strength of the party does not increase through the 1+1 = 2 formula. For example, if a party has a healer and another party does not, it could drastically reflect on their battle prowess. However, these guys were half the number of other parties but still claim to have double the prowess. This was another level of arrogance !!!

"You don't believe it huh ?" said Angelina as she saw Trevor being silent.

"To be honest it's not that I doubt you guys its just that.... your prediction defies common sense." Trevor answered.

"You'll believe it soon enough." said Angelina with a big smile.

"Get ready we enter the gate tomorrow." said Angelina as she got up and left the meeting room.
