“Y-yes sir.” I said hesitantly.
“Off you go then!” He gestured towards Heath.
“Yes sir!” I almost shouted as I ran towards Heath, “He was scary” I shivered griping my upper arms.
“That’s dad for you” Heath quietly said sighing.
“What am I meant to do?” I questioned tilting my head.
“Oh! Follow me” Heath said scratching his neck, as his blank face was filled with life again.

Heath took me around the building informing me of all my jobs I would have to do. Charting behaviors of some creatures, cleaning cages of fluids that seem too much like blood, and just patrolling past the cells.
“Oh, that’s easy is there anything else?”
“Nope that’s it” he said bluntly
“Wonderful! When do I start again?” I replied cheerfully.
“Tomorrow”
“Okay then! See you then babe” I said blowing a kiss as I walked out the door.
I giggled as I saw his face turn bright red as he tried to hide it from me by covering his face with his hands.

I reached my home, and I plopped on the couch shuffling through the channels finding one to doze to. I found one news channel talking about the Experimental Forge, or the Forge if you want to shorten it.
“The Forge has been charged with many different crimes lately as of August 12th such as the tragedy of the death of the young women, Nyr-“
I thought the date strange as today was only August 11th. But I cut the news reporter off and continued to flip through the channels settling on a foods channel to watch. Drifting asleep, I remained on the couch.
