This map contains the NC coastline before and after the sea level rises by several hundred feet. The group's route can be traced numerically. First, they traveled south, and they are presently traveling west. The new coastline goes up to Fayetteville, and it remains about a hundred miles to the east of Chapel Hill. Most of that new peninsula to the east of Fayetteville would fall within the domain of the [Fifth Greater Dungeon], and it might serve as a place where fishing and maritime trade can occur. It is presently unknown how navigable those waters will be when the flooding ends, since variations in elevation may create rocky shoals or dangerous sandbars.
