[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Ali and Jaius are sadly back home with their families.  As they enter the eighth grade at St Pious the X Catholic High school they have both changed physically and mentally and have learned a deep truth about reality.  There are still many dangers at the Dungeon, or St Pious.  Jaius can now take the bullies, but he promised Ali not to hurt them and Ali has to deal with her ex best friend Alison who still has her diary and as Alison is now the Queen of the Middle School, she could seriously hurt Ali in the year to come.   Just as they begin to settle back into a normal life they are thrust back to the past and find all their old friends, Enoch and deeper secrets about the Thron, the crystals and themselves.  They are joined by Jim, Keri, Trudi, Anne, Brittney, Olivia, Megan and Bradly.  Soon though, Enoch disappears, then reappears though he seems different, and they again find themselves unable to get back, and a Giant man riding a Tyrannosaurus Rex leading a massive army, arrives outside the walls of the Catha-Dral.
