"Alright. come on, we have to go now or we'll be late."
Bin saw no reason to make his sister to like his employer, so he just smiled and held petite hand.
Jasmine, who saw them walk away, dsahed back to her to retrieve something before blocking their path again, though in a less aggresive way.
"Hey... Mina! Look!" She showed a big chocolate bar to the girl, "Do you want this? You can have it!"
"Sweets will cause cavities."
Proud of his sister, Bin grinned a complimentary nod. As for Jasmine, she kept her smile while putting away the chocolate.
'The chocolate trick always works! Damnit!'
Yet again, the sibling began walking away, which urged her to open her mouth,
"How about I give you a lift? This isn't... umm a safe neighborhood."
Admittedly, Jasmine knew nothing of this place, but the scarcity of cars and people, as well as the condition of it did make it look unsafe.
"What did I say about personal boundaries, Jasmine?"
Bin gave a quick retort without stopping to look at her, however, after taking a couple more steps, he abruptly stopped and covered his mouth. His body twitched ever-so-slightly and his expression distorted.
Noticing this, Mina spoke up,
"I want to a life, big brother."
It was apparent that it wasn't the case, and Bin wasn't stupid enough to not see this.
"See? How can you deny your sister? It'll be comfortable and fast!"
"... fine."
Bin accepted because he felt that his condition wouldn't get better in a short period of time. Reluctantly, they followed back Jasmine to her car, which soon did a U-turn and sped away. Bin gave the chauffeur the location of the kindergarten before lying down and closing his eyes. He had a bad headache and if he didn't keep his eyes closed, the dizziness would overwhelm him.
"I have more snacks. These ones won't hurt your teeth."
Bin's body was stiff and exhausted, but what was problematic that he had a light fever. Such an occurrence wasn't uncommin, though he hoped it would go away soon. As he tried to get some rest, Jasmine, fortunately, was more focused on pleasing Mina rather than bothering him.
"Look, I still have some chocolate, take some."
She stuffed the snacks into Mina's hands, but only when her brother gave a nod did she accept them. She didn't open any of them, however, choosing to put them in her bag.
"You have to taste them too. I got a bunch, so eat a bit, 'kay?"
Jasmine took out even more, which made one wonder just how many she had 'stored' in the drawers under the seats.
"Big brother, have some. It's delicious."
'What? But I gave it you!' Jasmine grumbled as Mina did open one of the sweets only to hand it over to Bin instead of eating it.
"The chocolate is mine now! I can do with it whatever I want."
Noticing her stare, Mina deemed necessary to say those words while giving a defiant stare.
'She might be better at this than me.'
As his 'Master' sat there, trying to maintain her smile and now-calm attiude, Bin couldn't help but chuckle. Whatever her reasons might be, it was amusing to see Jasmine try her best to please a kid.
When she gave him a warning look, seemingly telling him not to eat, Bin took a big bite of the chocolate bar. He fully savoured the sweet taste, much to the girl's annoyance.
Mina happily ate the rest of the chocolate and then filled her bag with even more sweets and snacks. They might not be healthy food, but this wasn't an opportunity to be wasted. Furthermore, she had her brother's approval, therefore, there was nothing to worry about.
"You said the kindergarten is in Tiamat District. Isn't that pretty far?"

"It is."
"And you two walk there every morning? Wow..."
"It's not that far. Not everyone has a car."
"Then why not take a taxi?"
Hearing her ridiculous suggestion, Bin rolled his eyes and kept his mouth shut. The taxi fare was ludicrously expensive, and that was if one could manage to find a taxi driver willing to come to Bin's neighberhood.
Bin's mind drifted elsewhere, causing him to unintentionally fall asleep for a short period of time. By the time he woke up, they were already at their destination.
"Are you still angry with me, Mina? It's true... I shouldn't have acted that way. Okay?"
Jasmine had teary eyes as she shyly apologized to Mina, who, despite talking with her, was still wary and defensive.
"Big brother, I'm off."
Mina hugged the now-awake Bin before getting off the car. As she headed inside the kindergarten, she kept turning around and waving her head while having a bright and big smile on her face.
"I'm usually good with kids." Muttered the sulking Jasmine before quickly switching back to her usual attitude.
"Mina is gone now. You're now back to being my servant."
"Okay."
Bin yawned and then shrugged, still feeling sleepy and tired.
"You have to sit properly."
"Alright."
Bin didn't try to bicker her, instead, he was obedient in order to make her stop talking. A couple of minutes passed, in which Jasmine was busy with her phone, no longer interested in him.
"So, where are we headed?"
"I'm meeting with my friends. You better be quiet and behave."
...
Central Weiji
As the Master and Servant left the car and walked towards a fancy restaurant, the former looked at the latter and frowned.
"Why are you walking like that?"
Bin, whose was still having difficulty moving properly, looked at her but didn't respond.
"You have quite a well-built body... are you trying to screw with me right now?"
"Did you peek at me while I was changing?"
Caught red-handed, Jasmine stomped on the ground, "Don't change the subject! And I didn't peek. You just like look like you have muscles."
"Whatever you say."
Fortunately, Jasmine dropped the matter altogether and hurried inside the restaurant, which was a couple of feet away.
The place was even more luxurious than Bin's former workplace. There was a waiter at the reception, one who warmly welcomed Jasmine and guided her to a big table in the VIP section.
"Our lovely Jasmine is finally here. Good morning."
There were three people sitting around the table. They probably were all late-teens, though the one who spoke did look more mature than the rest. She had a long blonde hair, a well-developed chest, and a pair of beautiful green eyes. Even at a glance, she looked like a sophisticated and responsible girl. Then again, in public, Jasmine would generally behave normally, for want of a better word.
The next girl was a girl with very short brown-hair, a round face and two dark eyes. Even though she was sitting, one could see that she had a short height and was too slim, though not in an unhealthy way.
"You look angry, Jas."
"I'm not angry."
Jasmine put down her bag and let out a heavy sigh. She looked to her rear, ascertaining that Bin had indeed followed her.
"It's rare to see you on edge. Is this man the source of your bad mood?"
The blonde girl threw a cursory glance toward Bin while covering her mouth and chuckling. In responsive to her words, Jasmine just snorted, which made her three friends burst out laughing.
'They all look high-class. Birds of the same feather, I guess...'
Bin swept his gaze across all of them. The short-haired girl was the most talkative, the blonde seemed like the one smart one in the group, and the last one was oddly quiet and less expressive than the rest. She had dark-red hair and was the only one whose clothes were 'casual', as in she wore a simple a hoodie and black jeans.
"A new servant, I presume? I wonder whose son is this."
Melissa, the blonde girl, switched back the topic to Bin, who stood a feet behind Jasmine, as motionless as a statue. Although he tried his best to ignore her, Bin did notice the cold look of hosility she had, which was mildly unsettling.
"I've never seen him too. He doesn't look that impressive. Also, tell him to back away... him standing so close is giving me the creeps."
The short-haired Cara had a look of disgust and contempt, which made it easier for Bin to guess what sort of person she was. Although one shouldn't a book by its cover, first impressions still played a good part in showcasing one's character. Between Melissa and Cara, he felt that the former was a more troublesome person to deal with.
Jasmine half-turned around and gestured him to back away, which he did. After all, distancing himself from them would not make him the center of their attention.
'I won't be able to stand for too long. I need to rest, if even for a little bit.'
Plagued by dizziness, stiffness, and fatigue, Bin tried his best to garner attention or do something that might complicate things even more. Admittedly, he saw literally no point in accompaying Jasmine and just standing still, but if that meant getting paid a lot of money, he didn't mind it. However, when he thought about it from Jasmine's perspective, his presence here still seemed pointless.
It wasn't like he was helping her with anything, he just ominously stood in the back and watched them chitchat about random stuff.
After half an hour, Bin could no longer do it and had to sit down. As he grabbed a chair and was about to sit down, he heard an unpleasant voice come from the front.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
The one who spoke wasn't Jasmine but her friend Cara.
"Sitting down." Bin replied in a very slow manner as his was more worried about his condition than angering Jasmine's friend.
"Who ordered you to sit down? Who do you think you are?"
'Oh here we go again.' Bin just lowered his head and ignored her, but that only irritated the girl more. Unfortunately, he failed to predict how obnoxious Cara was, even compared to Jasmine.
She actually stood up and approached him, her eyes filled with anger and disdain.
"What kind of servant acts on his own-"
Cara's let out a startled yelp when Bin suddenly stood up, towering over her. He didn't touch her, but he did take a step forward, which made her instinctively back away.
"What I do and not do is between my Master and I, is it not? Kindly return to your seat and leave me alone."
For the first couple of seconds, Cara looked scared, but she quickly regained her senses and knew who had the advantage here. He had no right to talk to her like that. She clenched her fist, her face getting redder and redder as if it was about to burst.
