Deep within the void, the mostly 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 that made up what lay outside the Dimensions, Realms, and Universes of the Omniverse, a small bubble, a small dimension was formed.
Inside the small empty dimensional bubble at the center, floated a glowing white orb. This orb was a Dungeon Core, but not just any Dungeon Core.
A Dungeon Core of the Dimensional and World types.
Typically, Dungeon Cores are earth-born, forming deep within the earth of planets across the dimensions and realms of the Omniverse. However, Dimensional Type Dungeon Cores are special, they form their own mobile dimensions that allow them to attach themselves to other Dimensions, Realms, and Universes and can freely unattach themselves and move onto another if they so wish.
When attached to a different Dimension the Core sets an entrance into the Dungeon through a tear, typically a 'crack' in the Dimension, that allows free travel through both the Dungeon and the dimension it is attached to.
But even then, a Dungeon isn't so limited, if it uses enough energy, the Dimensional type Core could create a Permanent Portal that would link the Dimension to whatever dimension it's attached to.
Using Portal Gates, the Dungeon would still have a connection yet be able to unattach and move to another Dimension and attach to those as well, allowing it to be connected to multiple worlds at any given time, so long as they are strong enough.
The Dungeon could have as many connections as it wanted through Portal Gates so long as it could keep up the drain, allowing for a lot more Dungeon Divers to enter its depths and therefore, allowing it to grow faster.
As for the World-type Dungeons, they were another type on the rarer side alongside Dimension dungeon types.
You see, most Dungeon Cores are quite...slow when newly born, and typically are guided by instincts till they either reach a certain age or their 25th floor and they typically embody a single 'concept.'
For example, Fire, if a core embodied such a thing, they'd usually end up molding their monsters and environments to suit the theme, such as Dragons, Lizardmen, Kobolds, and so on.
World-type Dungeon Cores are much more...complex.
They are typically born quite intelligent and curious. These Dungeons typically embody many things, instead of just one, and tend to create complex ecosystems and environments in their depths. The Dungeons embody 'Worlds' and if left unchecked, will create entire monster societies and entire 'worlds' inside their depths, making them quite dangerous for Dungeon Delvers and Divers due to the many different dangers and traps, but equally more valuable due to their unique loot and monsters.
Which brings up another thing, "If Dungeons are so dangerous, why don't people destroy them?" The answer? They do, but not often, most Dungeons are kept functioning due to the resources and materials they offer as well as the training and challenges they offer for the inhabitants of the worlds, making them a valuable commodity to most worlds with some worlds even discovering how to enslave and use Dungeon Cores for themselves.
But what makes this newborn Dungeon Core different from others?
Not much, besides one thing.
It had a strange set of memories.
Memories of worlds and stories.
Worlds of Men, Mer, and Gods.
Stories of unimaginable horrors and madness.
Knowledge of technologies and magic never heard of before.
How did this Core know this?
It...He doesn't know.
What the core did know, was that these stories and worlds were created by creatures called 'Humans' on a planet called 'Earth.'

As for the Core, it was looking upon the welcoming system screen that accompanies most Dungeon Cores' birth across the Omniverse.

'Names? Hmmm,' The Core questioned.
"Call me Kohl. My Dungeon shall be named The Dungeon of Stories, and as for a username, I'd like to be called Prometheus, named after the Titan God of Fire who defied and stole from his fellow Gods and Titans and gifted Humanity the Primordial Fire so that they could grow strong and survive in their cruel world."

Ignoring his apparently edgy fellow Cores, Kohl focused on his Dungeon, his currently empty dimension that was almost entirely empty, if not for his glowing core at the center.
Pondering, Kohl questioned what to do first.
Coming up with what he needed to do, he first began changing the shape of his Dimensional Bubble from an orb to a cube easily and without cost.
Motes of light escaped his Core and stone, dirt, and various other materials began to form before falling down, filling up the bottom of the cube.
-500 Units of Mana.
Once 20% of the cube was filled with rock and material, he rose the ground by another 5% with rich soil.
Once that was done, another 200 mana was spent to begin pumping oxygen and various other gasses into the dimension to make it breathable for the most common organics it had memories of.
Looking upon the brown and desolate land below his core, he pondered what he should make...what story he was wanting to create.
His Dimension's size at the moment was 10 Miles from one side to the other.
And while it may not seem like much space, Kohl can always start infusing the Dimension with mana, expanding the border of the bubble.
He had many ways he could begin constructing his dungeon, but he wouldn't be satisfied with simple or chaotic designs like other Cores.
He wanted to make something truly beautiful, like the worlds depicted in the stories in his head.
After some thought, he decided to start with a forest.
Sure, a forest was kind of a cliche when it came to Dungeons, but it would help him start out where his monsters could use the shrubbery, foliage, and trees as cover.
But who says he will go with a basic forest? No, he planned something different.
He wanted to first start with a Red Wood Forest, with gigantic trees that could reach up to over 300 feet in height and 27 feet wide! (91.44+ and 8.2+ Meters respectively)
Why would he want to do this?
It's simple, he could add a much larger variety of monsters to live in the forest.
Such as birds that nest inside the trees, snakes that wrap around the trees waiting in ambush or lie in wait inside burrows, land-based predators that lay in wait inside and outside the trees, magical creatures that hasten the growth and health of these trees, and so much more.
With a plan now in mind, he continued.
More and more mana is drained from his core.
-500 Units of Mana
Seeds were planted in the soil, ponds and a river were made, and grass was planted.
Most newborn Cores would have begun with experimentation or the information they purchased from the system store when they start their dungeons, usually having to spend all the core points they were given at the start, but because of the memories inside his head, all he had to do was recreate was he saw and 'experienced,' not having to spend a single CP for blueprints or templates.

It would take time, a lot of time, for the trees and plants to grow to full maturity, especially the trees, which would take many 'human' years.
Unfortunately, Kohl didn't have any more mana, just creating the plants and planting them took the rest of its mana.
Setting its internal clock for 10 days, approximately when its Mana capacity would be full once again according to its status, Kohl went to sleep, or whatever was equivalent for Dungeon Cores.
