Chapter 1.4 - Dungeon Avatar

Haaaaah
Well for now let's just not pay attention to the uniqueness of my conversion method and instead focus on the rewards! yay positivity! It seems some of my skills leveled up twice which I assume is nice, the derivative dungeon skills seem nice especially Matter Replication, that just screams "make duplicates" which sounds great because I might be able to duplicate one of a kind items and weapons. Another dungeon trait as well, Francine please explain?
System Alert Inventive - Monsters under the influence of dungeon are more inventive. Slightly increases monster intelligence, Moderately increases monster creativity, Moderately increases chance of monsters creating and utilising natural terrain and traps, Greatly increases chances of monster finding "unique" solutions to problems.
It's a cheat! The cheat is here! Haha! With this my monsters are now highly adaptive, loyal, ambitious, fast growing, and they use traps! Truly traits and titles are great!.. Although I do feel slighted with the "unique" comment, why is it in quotes? Are you making fun of me francine? Now anyway back to the rewards you said I get one free low-rank monster right? whats that about?
System Alert You have the oppurtunity to choose from a group of low-ranking monsters and gain the ability to freely create one of them.
Free Monster Animal - Any creature that can be classified as a normal animal, this can be anything from beasts to birds to reptiles. They lack strength normally but can become powerful through evolution. Strength - G+, Potential - A Slime - An amorphous creature which is the small fry of small fry, they lack a strength and are widely considered to be the weakest monster in existence, however in the incredibly unlikely off chance that a slime survives till evolution they can become incredibly threating due to their specialised traits and nigh-infinite potential to evolve. Strength - G, Potential - S. Goblin - Small humanoid creatures whose intelligence is as lacking as their hygiene, they wield primitive weaponry and operate under a tribal society with a chief standing at the top. Their strength is lacking but their humanoid form and minor intellect allows them to create traps and weaponry to even the playing field against a stronger opponent, their evolutions are fairly lackluster but can give significant boosts to their lacking attributes. Strength - F, Potential - B Imp - The lowest level of demonic creature, they are devious pranksters with a love for traps and minor inconveniences. They are cable of wielding low-level fire and dark magic and have decent intelligence but they lack physical strength. Strength - F, Potential - B+ Kobold - Kobolds are said to be distant relatives of the legendary dragons, keyword distant. They are realtively weak initially but make up for this using intelligence and traps. Strength - F, Potential - S Skeleton - Low ranking undead, they lack intelligence and strength but make up for this by having the potential to become powerful wielders of dark attribute magic and great physical strength in their higher evolutions. Strength - F, Potential A Lesser Golem - Lesser versions of golems, they lack any form of intelligence and even the physical strength and durability golems are known for is lowered. Strength F, Potential B Lesser Elemental - Lesser versions of elementals, they could also be called a child elemental. They have very faint consciousness and excel in magic of one specific attribute but lack physical attacks. Strength F, Potential A
...Well just to begin with there are so many hidden traps in this lost it's honestly not even funny. Case #1, Kobolds having high potential and dragon blood, This is a clear trap as although this might trick people into thinking you'll eventually get dragons the distant is emphasised on the status screen meaning its probably very difficult and unlikely to happen so im just going to cross them off the list now. My traits rapid growth and adaptation should allow me to take advantage of monsters with high potential, although it would only turn a 0.001% chance of happening into something slightly higher so I don't feel like risking it with kobolds. Anyway I can remove the lesser golems, goblins and imps due to their potential of B. Skeleton's as well because being an undead dungeon sounds like a horrible idea when the existence of a church is still unconfirmed, that's a one-way ticket to being exterminated. That leaves me with lesser elementals, slimes and animals... the elementals feel like very focused mages and that would leave me with a very unbalanced dungeon so im doing to have to remove them from the list and that leaves me with slimes or animals. So do I wan't the higher starting strength or the higher potential?.. You know what? The description of slimes says the reason they aren't normally good is due to not being able to reach a higher evolution which combos with my dungeon perfectly due to my higher growth rates and chances of unique evolutions. So I choose slimes.

System Alert You have chosen Slime as your free monster and have now gained the ability to create them.
...I don't feel any different though? No bursts of knowledge or sudden realisations, although on second thought its probably stores in my core like the dirt. Yep there it is, well for now I suppose I should take a look at the last reward, Dungeon Avatar I think it was called? Francine what's a dungeon avatar?
System Alert A Dungeon Avatar is an ability unique to Chromatic Dungeons allowing them to create a humanoid body in order for them to interact with the world around them personally. These bodies cost large amounts of mana to create and only one can be active at a time, it is possible for the Dungeon Avatar to leave the dungeon but this is not recommended as it would result in you being unable to manage your dungeon. The race and abilities of your avatar will be based of your dungeon colour and the avatar itself will be treated like a dungeon monster granting it boons from the dungeons traits and giving it the ability to evolve like one (the mental influence effects of traits like overachiever will not affect the avatar). Would you like your dungeon avatar to be generated?
...So I get a body? And it gets loads of boosted traits?
System Alert Yes
Ha. Haha. Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Francine make me my dungeon avatar!
With my words it felt like the world begin shifting, I could see the mana strings in the environment coalesce taking shape into a humanoid figurine, it was more complicated and more beautiful than anything I had seen before with lights shimmering and shifting, strings weaving in and out of each other creating a complex network of interconnected parts. I was awestruck at the beauty of it all. The beauty of mana and of the living. But alas as suddenly as it begun it ended, with a flash of light my body stood there, and I was amazed by what I saw in more ways than one.
