Announcement

I think I need to make a small adjustment in the skill system of this story, but I'm not sure if you guys would feel like it or not. As the result, I make this announcement to ask you guys for a suggestion. The changes won't make any major changes in the story at this point because the skills and especially the magic system are still not introduced much. The reasons for making this change are:

1. The skill system and the magic system are overlapping too much. Sometimes, I'm not sure if I should put an ability into the skill system or the magic system. With the new change, this mess will become a lot clearer.

2. This change will make it easier to list the name of abilities a character can use. In the short future, a magical id card system will be introduced to reveal the name of skills a character can use. Under this new change, a big number of abilities will be categorized as skills thus it's easier to reveal.

3. This change will make monsters and magical creatures differ from human. You know, if there is no limitation in using magic, how does a monster differ from a human? Under this change, humans won't be able to use monster abilities. But in exchange, they will become a versatile race instead.

Here are the details of the current systems

Skills

A skill is an ability obtained by unlocking a certain condition or by race. It is less flexible than magic, but the user will know how to use it by instinct when he obtains it, so it's easy to use but hard to obtain.

Magics

A magic is a process to change a natural phenomenon through ritual or spell. A magic is more flexible than a skill that the user can do almost anything as long as he has sufficient knowledge and compensation.

And these are the new systems

Skills

In addition: human can't use skills that alter nature natural phenomenon. They can use skills that boost their physical abilities and strengthen their movements, however. For example, martial art skills, perception skills, self-recovery skills.

Unique skills for monsters/ magical creatures

can alter natural phenomenon. For example, [shadow dive] of Midnight, [Mind link] of Oscar and Lunus

Magics

are replicas of monsters' skills that can alter natural phenomenon. Human and intelligent races use them through rituals and spells. Magics are still under development, so most of them can do only basic sets of control like making fireballs, creating a storm, or the like. The more complex a spell is, the more compensation and knowledge are required.
