She pointed her finger at me and white flames came out and erupted all around me and then it rushed at me entering my body before I could begin to resist.The pain was unimaginable. Now don’t get me wrong I’m used to pain. In fact being experimented on by the priest gave me a pretty high tolerance of it. But this was beyond anything I’ve ever felt. My insides my outside, everything from my heart to my bones was on fire. The flames would go out monetarily giving me a much needed rest just to start up again with a passion. This went on for hours and just when I felt my mind would break it stopped.
“Good job you actually survive, I knew you could do it.”
“What was that I barely managed to croak out?”
“I like to call them the flames of Asophis. They have an extremely unique property of destroying and healing everything I want them to. In this case you.”
“I could have died.”
“But you didn’t and now you’re stronger for it. It was a gift by me so if I was you I’d be grateful.’
“Sigh. Thank you. So did the flames work? Will I be able to enhance my body with spiritual energy now?”
“Yes but you should stop differentiating between the types of mana she said frowning.”
“Why.”
“Just think of mana as the air surrounding you. It sounds stupid to separate into different types right.”
“But I thought spiritual came from the body.”
“It does but it can also come from other sources. So from now think of everything as mana. No different types just mana. It should probably make it easier for you to train as well.”
“Train? To train I normally just empty the energy out from my body then feel for the spiritual energy inside the elemental then
“Stop that sound like too much work. From now on just attune yourself to the energy around you. I guarantee it will be easier from now on. Now more importantly how does your body feel?”

“What soul infusion? Actually what is a soul infusion?
“Oh it’s just a way to increase the size of a soul. However looks like instead of your soul getting bigger it absorbed the other soul. Which makes you pretty impressive. I guess the side effect was the way it sped up your mental growth. It’s why you don’t seem anything like a normal six year old”
“Is that so? Well thanks for everything but can I go now.”
“Sure it’s not like I wanted some company or anything after being alone for a century or two she said with a pout.”
”Well then how about I come back another time.”
“Another time? Only lesser gods can come to planes like these.”
“Then I guess I’ll just become a lesser god”
“Hahaha you’re an amusing child, Well it’s a deal I’ll see you when you become a lesser god. Oh and here’s something to remember me bye she said tossing me a metal staff.”
When I looked up to thank her I was already back on the altar. And thus ended my meeting with a God and the beginning of my journey.
