The king!?
"I-I am Tamariesha Silverscale" I said so in a stiff voice.
"Ah, don't be so stiff...I know your mother for more than 90 years" he smiled.
"Elast, you should've told her that you aren't pure human first, before you spoke how long we have known each other" butting in, my mother stated.
"Ah, sorry. You see, I'm a half-elf" he revealed his ears, that were a bit longer than that of a normal human.
"Uh...and you were in a party with my mother?" I asked since I was a bit curious.
"Ah, yes. We were party of monsters weren't we?" he asked while turning his head to mother.
"In a literal sense" she answered.
"You see Tamariesha, nobody from our party was human." he laughed.
"We often changed our names and appearances just to have fun while hunting" he pointed at a tusk on the wall.
"Isn't that tusk from Frostline Yeti?" mother surpised, walked towards the tusk.
"Ah, once I got bored and went to hunt it down" full of pride, he said so.
"That's impressive for that shrimp half-elf I know" she quietly laughed as her head turned to our direction.
"Don't call me shrimp just because your actual body is big" he stood up.
All I could see, was how good their relationship was. They were friends, that hunted and had fun together.
It was right then, when another *bam* was heard. Who came into room was the golden haired boy with green emerald eyes from yesterday. The crown prince Raynold.

"Father! Are you slacking off again? Mother will get mad, you know?" he came shouting towards the sofa. As he walked towards the standing king, just then he noticed my mother next to the Yeti's tusk and me sitting opposite to the king.
Startled, he came to a stop. Looking at my appearance, he was probably trying to figure out from which country we came from.
"Ah, my apologies. I didn't realized that father had company" he bowed in a elegant matter. Seeing this, the king was having fun.
"Elast" my mother narrowed his eyes at him.
"Ah, I'm sorry Ray, but can you leave for a bit?" he looked at the prince. "I still have something to discuss with La-"
"Elast, don't call me lady. It creeps me out hearing it from you" mother interrupted.
"Also, why must he leave? He's your son. As long as he doesn't touch my daughter" she said so with a grin.
The king just sighed and with a heavy voice said "Okay, Ray. You can stay if you want"
"Huh?" not knowing what's going on, the prince just looked at me and my mother again. An awkward silance descended on the room.
"Uhhh...mother?Weren't we here for something?" with a quiet voice, I broke the silence.
"Ah! right right...Elast, just tell us the detail already" mother remembered our original objective for the visit.
"But I wanted to talk to your daughter a bit more!" he sat down back on the sofa.
"You can after we complete the quest" she came back to the sofa and sat next to me.
"Okay, but be sure to bring the mana crystal of the beast" he narrowed his eyes while looking at mother.
"That time it was accident! Don't look at me like that!" she rebuked.
"As long as you kn-" the king was about to start explaining, when prince interrupted.
"Father! Don't tell me you are sending these two girls to kill it!?" he pointed at us.
"Ray, calm down! Even the little girl should be stronger that both us" he laughed.
"Elast, you think too little of him" mother jumped into their conversation.
"B-but father!" the prince looked at me.
"Alicia, I apologize for my foolish son" the king slightly bowed to mother.
"Don't worry about it. He reminds me of you Elast. Anyway..." she said so.
"Ah, the details..." he took out the map of the whole region and pointed at one place located not too far from capital. He started to explain the details of quest while prince was constantly staring at me.
"...and that's about it" he ended his explanation.
"It will be more troublesome, if not dealt with" confirming the details, mother stood up.
"We should get going"
While following suit, we were walked towards the door.
Before closing the door, mother turned towards the king for a moment.
With a "See you later, shrimp" and a wink from her, we both left.
