Chapter 2: New Life

Chapter 2: New Life

My eyes burnt slightly. Whatever was out there made my eyes hurt a lot. I thought I was fine in this little thing I've been in. But then something grabbed whatever I was in and slowly made me fall onto the ground. The ground was warm and actually comfy.

I opened my eyes in the slightest way possible. I saw dark gray things around me along with slightly orange lines around the edges of the dark gray things. I moved around slightly and looked around. Since my eyes were barely open, I couldn't see much. The area was the same all around based off of what I could see.

As I was looking, I froze when I saw a bright white thing in the corner of my eye. I stopped and looked in the opposite direction, hopefully not letting whatever that was know that I'm here. I stopped again when I saw another bright white thing. This time I just stayed still.

As I stayed still, the white thing didn't move. It must have been at least an hour before I nearly had a mini heart attack. Something nudged my right side. It made me tense up into a ball or something.

I felt another nudge in the same spot. I stayed still. Hopefully what ever it was would go away soon.

As I was waiting, my eyes started to get better. I opened them more and in front of me was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen . . . a bright white claw. The claw was small, though. I started to move away when the claw moved with me. It took me a minute to realize something . . . it was my hand.

Well, now it's a front foot.

It was very bright white. The claws were a light gray. It freaked me out, a lot. I had a scaly, bright white claw that only had four fingers, counting the thumb.

It freaked me out so much, that I forgot about that thing that was nudging me. I remembered it when it nudged me again, sending me back into my secure, ball position.

I waited for at least three minutes. Then I moved slightly. I tried to stand up on all four legs, but when I got halfway up, I fell flat on my stomach.

I didn't try to get back up.

I could, however, move my head. I looked around slightly and saw the same thing, rocks with orange lines around the edges. I looked up and saw a large, white lizard head with horns.

I froze in fear. I just stared for at least five seconds before passing out.

I had the same dream as the one I had before. With the large white creature tearing me to shreds. I realized that the thing I saw was from my dream.

As I was dreaming, everything turned to nothing. Then an angel in all white appeared in front of me.

He looked at me and said, "Welcome back to the land of the living, young soul."

I just looked at him confused. What did he mean by welcome back. I didn't know how to speak to him, so I couldn't ask.

He then noticed I couldn't talk and said, "Oh, right. You can't talk. Oh well."

he chuckled and then snapped his fingers. We were all of the sudden floating above a large cave. I saw my body passed out. My body had bright white scales, a tail, wings, and four nearly identical claws on each limb. I also had very small horns on my head. I was in what appeared to be a . . . nest?

It was surrounded by lava that went out what appeared to be like 5 feet. The walls were made of stone. Inside the nest was me, and a large, hollow egg. Okay. So I was in an egg. That explains a lot.

the large lizard from earlier was standing above the nest looking down at me. This creature had the same kind of features I have. Except it's claws were sharper, it had spikes running down it's back, it's wings were larger, and it had slightly larger horns on the back of it's head. It was a dragon. A freaking dragon.

It was laying down next to the nest. It was watching me. I really hope that if it eats me, it will do it quick.

As I was looking, the angel said, "In case your wondering, that is your mother."

WHAT! How? It doesn't make sense.

I looked at me and my 'mom' and compared how we looked. Besides her sharper claws, spikes, larger horns, and size, she was also a brighter white. Besides that, we looked the exact same for the most part.

My brain was practically dying from confusion and shock.

The angel said, "It must be a shock, isn't it? Knowing that both you and both of your parents are what you fear the most."

Wait . . . both?

As if on que, another dragon entered the cave. This one looked exactly the same as my 'mom' but with larger horns.

It looked into the nest and saw my body. It nudged me on the side. I actually felt that from here.

After that, the angel said, "It's strange seeing these two dragons with a child."

I looked at the angel confused.

As if the angel could understand me, it said, "The reason these dragons are not mean to be seen with a child of their own is for one good reason the all realms must bend too."

I looked at the angel again, even more confused.

The angel said, "These dragons are . . . Eternals."
