Touch. A touch gazed in the skin.
“!” A fury pulse cracked.
“—!”
Followed then was a clattering sound.
“—!”
Then another clattering sound
Clattered!
Clattered!
And another.
“—!” There was a thud! As well.
Thud!
Thud!
And another thud!
“Ayah!” a shout also heard.
“Ayah!” another shout. “Ayah!”
“Ah—ugh!” A punch landed in the guts spittle flew out.
“Ugh!” Another punch landed, and another spittle flew out.
“Eek!” a frightened squeal.
“Eek!” Another.
Someone with hurried ran away.
There were also those who cried for help.
Boom! the round wooden table was perfectly cut to half at someone’s head. Rin kick! with precision landed in the face and the man spun in the air as if a leaf defile of rights.
Ting! Ting! The round bell rang and one person emerged as a winner.
Rin beat all the drunken around.
“The hell are you doing?!” at the back of the establishment someone ask loud and clear prompting for immediate response. The person had a twitching brow arguing with Rin to open her mouth, who right now with her two hands crossed over her chest wasn’t paying attention. But before that, how did the situation turned like this? Well, turning back the time will help explain almost everything and it all comes down to this—
When morning came.
“—Then see you later, your majesty.”
“—Yup. See you later, your majesty.”
Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.
“—Yeah. See you two later and guess may luck is on your side.”
She added. “—Be safe, you two.”
A smile spread on.
“—I leave everything onto you sky.”
“You got it.”
Bidding their see you later, Sheyn and Rin then immediately set off to find a job just like what had been decided and wakes up earlier just like what have been talked. The two searched, moving there and here, going here and there, moving almost around.
This restaurant had been in Rin’s mind for quite some time now.
“—were not Hiring.” that’s it too unfortunate. Still, why does she have to look so sour? They didn’t do anything wrong, they were just asking. Sheyn was offended. For her part Rin did not really mind because she understand and get it the sale wasn’t looking good. Well, what do you expect when you were on slum? Still, the two continue on their search, marching in tow with each other, but only later was all what it take’s for the two to be found in the alleyway with backs in the wall, resting.
“I didn’t know that finding a job is gonna be this difficult.” Wept of Sheyn.
“...” Rin was just silence all likely thinking of a plan. But glancing a little at Sheyn’s chest, two pairs of meat were bouncing up and down there as she breathe rather raggedly. Those were really big.
“If we could just sell that,” said the black-haired girl. Noted that she wasn’t kidding around.
“But it’s still too early to give up, Rin.”
“And who the hell said I am giving up?!” that girl really, Rin's fury sounds like a cracked ice.
“Still, what should we do? I couldn’t see a profitable result at all.”
“And you’re really ignoring me!” eventually after a while, the two decide to go back to their search for a job. They didn’t have any plan of giving up.
“Where are we going this time, Rin?” Sheyn glanced back at Rin. Actually, they had yet checked another section of the slum. There’s still a number of places left.
Rin answered. “I’m thinking of going…” Rin trailed off and begun screaming at the top of her lungs “Watch out!” she shouts warning the girl glancing back at her.
“Hek!” It was already too late. Sheyn bumped into someone right past the intersection. And due to the force of the collision, Sheyn almost fell to her back. Luckily Rin was quick and catches her.
“Careful.” Rin to Sheyn.
“Thank you.” Sheyn to Rin.
“I-I’m very sorry.” apology of the guy who Sheyn bumped into despite being not in the wrong here.
“I-It’s okay. I’m the one who’s at fault here, so sorry.” Sheyn said to the fellow, affirming that she was the wrong.
“Oh!” All of a sudden he exclaimed. “Isn’t these two are those beautiful yesterday?” Who could he be?
“Say what?” the two Rin and Sheyn elevate the person individuality to whom might he be, pondering almost at the same time.
“Guy’s it’s me.” Rin and Sheyn could not help but grimace at the guy so suddenly acting too familiar.
“It’s the vendor of that accessories stall yesterday.” White striking hair with a couple of strands of black all over his head. Tall, around 180 centimeter but compared to sky he looks thin.
“Remember?” the two just nod in affirmation.
“So, are you two just taking a stroll? But I believe I also saw you two back there earlier, so I don’t think that’s the case.”
“Well, we were actually looking for a job.” answered Sheyn.
“Did you happen to know some?” Rin jabbed Sheyn in the arm with her elbow three times for casually talking to the stranger. But what make’s it different? They had been going around searching for a job, talking to different people.
“A job hmm,” he pondered when his friend come calling to him while crossing the street.
“—hey, E’l! Problem?”
Rin and Sheyn could not help but be flabbergasted since what came to their sides capable of human tongue was not a human but rather a talking rat wearing a Boater on its tiny head.
“A-... talking rat.” Sheyn couldn’t believe.
“What? Got a problem.” Retort of the little guy offended.
“I already have heard about this, but never thought I’ll be seeing one.” Rin. “Ulma. However, I believe they have long extinct.”
“That is right and I am the last of my kind, so you should be grateful for me gracing you my existence,” said so of the ulma, the extinct species of rat capable of human tongue. Please take note that he was even standing with two feet alone.
“But he’s cute though.” Sheyn bent down for some reason, the ulma’s face distorted in what seems disgust.
“Eehk.” even did.
ulma. “Hey! Woman, there’s a limit to everything you know. Your tits are past that limit.” So that was it.
“T-that’s harsh!” Sheyn begun crying. On the other hand, Rin lit up in sheer delight at the face of Sheyn misery. It was too hard to tell if this girl was cruel or just love to have Sheyn feelings hurt.
“Okay, I like this little guy.” Rin to the ulma.
“Shut up, you too. I’m also not fond of flat.”
“You're dead.” Rin wasn’t all talk with her hands extending out to squeeze the little guy lucky E’l immediately get between.
“Okay, okay, for now, that’s enough.” He said, hands on Rin’s wrist.
“What… for now are you saying bastard?” the ulma to his friend's eyes were almost pumping out of its sockets.
“Firo, these two are looking for a job. What did you think?” so Firo was the little guy’s name.
“Hmm.” Firo scrutinizes the two girls, although making them uncomfortable. “What do you think?” he returns the question to E’l and the guy just posts a thumbs up wide grin in the face.
“Then that’s decided.” Honestly, for a rat grinning, it’s just creepy. Rin and Sheyn looked at each other for what was happening, giant question marks hang above their heads.
