“It really begun raining.” She said, but actually later after seconds of staring into the opened window.
“I wonder if Rin and Sheyn are gonna be okay?” One after another rain begun to fall, massive droplets were creating a crater in the soil. Meanwhile, it’s all thanks to the lamp of light in the corner. The room was not that dim.
“they were your majesty. A bit of rain won’t do them harm.” That’s probably going only to Rin. Anyway. The girl didn’t really mean that question to Sky, but he still answered. The person was busy of making his sword shine and freeing away from dirt and rust, leaning his back in the wall. Take not that he hadn’t never neglected this not a day. Not even if he was too busy.
“If you said so Sky.”
“But I wonder what kind of work Rin and Sheyn do.” She went on meanwhile wondering of what kind of job did the two Rin and Sheyn up to? “They aren’t doing anything that might cause them harm, right?”
“I’m worried.” She said, genuinely worried.
Sky’s hands stops “they aren’t your majesty.” he said rather readily, “Not at all.” Sky’s answer didn’t go any further than that. Rin instructed him to not after all.
“Forgive me for lying, your majesty,” mumbled sky. It didn’t seem like the girl had heard anything.
“It isn’t like we intend to leave you in the dark but since Rin knew that once you get a hold of her troublesome situation where she had her butt touched every now and again, you will feel guilt and start blaming yourself.”
“I see. Okay.” although it wasn’t entirely satisfied, the girl did not inquire for more. Accepting Sky’s words as a fact to believe. Her golden hair glowed in the light and rippled with the passing breeze that sneaking in the window like strands of silk. Her eyes seemed like production of ruby.
Taking a deep breath, but wasn’t a sigh, Sky stands up. “Guess I’ll go and prepare our dinner,” he announced. He was done taking care of his sword, polishing it to the point that can even be used as alternative mirror.
“Now what should I’m going to cook?” since Rin and Sheyn now have a job with stable salary, they didn’t need to worry for what to eat today. It was even yesterday when the two brought a couple bags of groceries.
“W-wait sky!” the girl hurriedly stop sky. For what could it be?
She tells the reason. “I remember Rin saying she’ll be cooking our dinner tonight, so guess we should just wait for them to return.” She was lying Rin never said that she’ll be cooking their dinner tonight.
“Is that so? But I don’t think Rin said she will be, though.” Because in the first place, Rin never did.
“S-she does. You probably just forgotten it.”
“Yup! You have just forgotten.” the girl frantically tries to insist her lies trying to make the other person believe.
“Hmm…” Sky was thinking. On the other hand, it’s just comical.
“Well, if your majesty says it.” her heart ached. Still it can’t help she didn’t want to experience a nightmare for the second time. That was just how bad of a cook sky was.
Since deciding to believe the lie, the boy sat back. His wide shoulders make it obvious he’d undergone years of hard training-
Rrrgghhhh. It was the girl’s stomach.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
“Guess I should really go and cook our dinner.” sky foot kicked in.
“—I’m telling you, sky just sit therpe and wait for Rin.” her blood-shot eyes speak volumes. That was just how bad of a cook sky was.
“!”
“O-oh,” taken aback Sky shrunks back.
Don’t have much to converse until silence descended upon them. While the girl was feeling relief, this will keep sky for the meantime. But when will Rin and Sheyn come home? She really was hungry, just so everyone knew.
“Urk.” She grimaced.
“that’s right. By the way, your majesty.” Sky opened his mouth, remembering something.
The girl looked at him. “remember that time when I went out? You know I came across this group of traveling performer and it was really amazing.” Sky had a happy in the face.
“So next time let’s go and watch it with the four of us, your majesty.” It wasn’t that long when Sky fell into despairs so seeing him like this couldn’t keep the girl from smiling.
“Yeah. that isn’t a bad idea—Boom!” the shack exploded.
Johan and his gang watched the concrete turn to dust. Although none think the two were already dead. And when something begun to move within the burning and crumbled shack, his smile grow even wider.
“A-are you okay, your majesty?” Sky asks.
She replied, seems wasn’t that sure however “Y-yes.”
“Let’s get out of here.” Sky suggested, and he pulled the stabbed sword into the earth. Slowly then the lighting of yellow color sheltering them from the blazing fire debris faded. But not until the two successfully made out from the once their home burning shack.
“Eek.” When successfully made out, the girl gasped. It wasn’t just their shack went fire, but all the structures in the perimeter. Countless corpses dotted the ground, then all got a horrible end.
“Bastards!” Sky got in the front, obscuring the girl behind his back while sword was brandished. His eyes tell how he was prepared to cut anyone who would dare do anything stupid right now.
“that’s scary sky,” a familiar voice was heard.
Sky was surprise beyond belief.
“Y-you. I thought your already dead.” slightly trembling, Sky asks the familiar face among the group.
Yuta. “dead?” he questions. For him, that’s a bit difficult to get. Pushing his eyeglasses back up with his slim hands, he keep on. Those hands tell that instead of sword he was rather good in book. Not to bring up, he was top in the academy. “I’m here alive, however.” He looks protesting.
“But I could no longer reach out to you?” Sky.
“For that reason?” the exchange went on. Yuta was the person who wasn’t that long Sky lost contact with.
“Y-you so the reason I could no longer reach you is that you already switch sides.” he just get it.
“Slow as ever.” Yuta produces a sigh of dissatisfaction. “Anyone probably has guessed it since long ago.”
“Well, what could I say you're only good at swinging your sword.” there’s a number of laughter to ridicule Sky. It did not matter to him, however. What matter to Sky was this guy putting this golden hair girl in danger.
“Bastard!”
“Urk.” the bespectacled feet took a step back gulping at the same time. The anger of those betrayed and deceived was something cannot be taken lightly.
“Enough of your heart warming meeting up.” Johan pushes Yuta aside. Still heart warming? Even he himself questions it. But not that something already done can be redo, so he just let it be.
“Well, then.” Johan his smile never fade. “Hello and good evening people.” evening since it’s already past 6 pm. “Sure you already heard of, but let me reintroduce ourselves.”
“Nothing fancy. We are your friendly neighborhood nightwalker.” the man spread his arms wide open, gesturing to welcome Sky and the girl of golden hair color.
“And with that being said, let’s get down to it.”
Sky increased his grip on the sword, bracing himself at the same time.
Johan disappeared in the place. “Make sure you live up to your name as the kingdom’s sword.”
Bang! Sharp edges met each other. The disturbing sounds echoed, almost like trying to imitate the rumbling of the heaven above. The two stared at each other’s eyes as if trying to view what’s the other’s got in mind.

The double wooden doors. Behind those was the person he would be meeting up, the king. The land was blessed by the goddess of the sun. The clock just hit the number 9. Sky walked in the carpeted floor of the castle with every of his steps seeming to travel throughout the end of the hallway. He was on his way to meet the king. Apparently, the man asks for his audience. For what could it be? Was still unknown. It wasn’t too early, he already been told yesterday night hours later on his arrival, but sure of it was not about the success of his tending the issues in the north. It must be something.
The guards on standby knew him and they give their salutes before opening the door. They were aware of Sky's business with the king.
“Sky.” inside the king greeted him.
“Your majesty.” Sky knee one knee.
“Please have a seat.”
“I am very sorry for calling on you when you just arrived,” said the king.
“Please don’t be sorry, it’s nothing.” Sky gazed at the person. Hero king, this term alone gives almost everything to picture what kind of ruler this long passed his sixty years of age. Stopping the invasion and prospering the barren, these were just one of the many.
“Do so.” The maids brought a set of tea.
“I heard the great result,” the king began. “allow me to congratulate you. I’ll be sure to reward you for these deeds at a later date.”
“It is my gratitude.” Their conversation literally began with this, but when it comes to the business, they start here. Even have all the individuals inside the trusted maid and Butler steps outside.
“Sky.” the king, the tune of his voice, was serious.
The boy was listening.
“I have known you for a long time now,” as he said. “to be exact, since you were a kid.” the king somehow did not speak with much nostalgia like what to expect when it comes to times like this.
“Sky, I want to ask you for something.”
