"Ah, pants," sighed Karastak as he settled against a cave wall which had housed the bodies of a mother bear and her mummified children. The mother, who claimed the cave as her own, tried her best to fight against he who came for shelter. Unfortunately, her head fell away with a quick swipe of his clawed hand, resulting in her slumping to the ground, dead.
The children of the she-bear, or cubs, were rather distraught over this, and whined greatly whilst nuzzling against their headless mother. As such, he took it upon himself to end their existences with another swipe. Thus creating a deathly silence which echoed throughout the cave and some ways away from it into the forest.
"Pants, pants, pants, pants," he chanted with a grin, sliding one leg into the offered hole, then the other. However, he quickly realised that such a garment was rather snug around his thigh. Of which was solved with a quick tug and immediate regret. For the trousers ripped audibly, resulting in them becoming, "Shorts... Really?"
The trousers themselves could not fully pull themselves up past his knees, and as such left the remaining linen scraps dangling around his ankles. Such a sight caused him to frown greatly at the sight, but soon shrugged whilst pulling it around his waist and securing the garment with a piece of rope. "Well," his voice sighed whilst the girlish voice in the back of his mind pouted, "at least I don't have to worry about my boys for a while."
Karastak stayed silent for a time, staring at the cooling body of the she-bear whilst cupping the right side of his face. With the forefinger tapping against his temple, he stretched out his left and scratched the fur. Of which easily parted from the body, revealing fat, muscle, and some blood from within. As such, it caused him to frown from the strength of his clawed digit, asking allowed, "Why do I have such strength, Azazel?"
To which she replied with, "[Because the Humans are weak, and I'd rather see you stronger than them.]"
Within his mind's eye, he could imagine her leaning back atop a tree stump or stone, her head tilted backwards as she stared at himself with a grin. It was not an unpleasant sight within him, and he found it oddly comforting to see. Which led to him deepening his frown a little more, "What is Enchanting upon this world? Because upon my own, it is the ability to grant various items magickal properties it would never have since their creation."
"[It's the same here, but you can also apply them to flesh,]" which led to her giggling as he brightened up a bit. For he imagined his body tattooed with various enchantments that would allow himself to fly, teleport, and see through objects. However, this was soon dashed away as the girl continued with, "[Yeah, no. I wouldn't touch the teleporting one, unless you want to end up in a tree or rock. Though, the flying one does have some merits to it, but I've never thought of seeing through objects... hmm...]
"[Well, you're just going to have to figure that one out.]"
"And how am I to do that? I don't exactly have anything which would allow me to perform such actions, nor do I know the whole process."
"[Huh?]" he felt her blink a few times, then giggled greatly.
"What's so funny?" he inquired with a twinge of annoyance in his voice.
"[Silly, just write out what you want with something upon yourself or another, infuse it with your energy, and watch the show.]"
"Just that simple, huh?" Of course, he didn't receive anything beyond what felt like a grin from herself, as he looked about for something to write with. However, there wasn't any sort of writing utensil, save for his finger. To which he shrugged and would have searched for something like ink, if not for the pool of sticky bear blood which was still present next to the body.
"I mean," he began slowly, "it's better than nothing, right?" When he didn't receive an answer, he moved his body towards the blood, and dipped his right forefinger into the liquid.
It didn't feel like much of anything to his senses. For it was as though it was cooled water after it had boiled and was left out for too long. However, there was the sticky sensation of it all, and he watched as a small trickle of the liquid dripped away as he retracted it from the pool. "Fascinating," he muttered, mesmerised by the liquid, and felt something within his mouth ache. Before he knew it, however, the trickle of blood was in his mouth, and slid down his throat towards his stomach.
Of which quickly led to him retching a bit, his body rejecting the minuscule amount with great vehemence. Thus leading him to doubling over as his body sweated and burned with a great fever for what felt like an eternity to Karastak, but was only a few heartbeats.
"What was that?" he cried out, coughing greatly until the small amount splashed upon the wall beyond him. Where it was coated with a black bile, and quickly ate its way down the wall whilst giving off an acrid smell.
"[Oh,]" he felt as though Azazel was pursing her lips from what she just viewed, "[Well, you know how your world had Vampires running about and sucking blood and what not?]" He nodded whilst straightening up, not enjoying the ordeal he just went through, nor the train of thought, "[Um... Well, you can probably put yourself into that category right now, or rather, the sub-category...]"

"Which is?" his voice stretched out the last word, curious, but at the same time not.
"[You're now an Energy Vampire, and will be needing to supply your body with a necessary supply in order to function properly. So... Congratulations?]"
To which he simply replied with a sigh as he inquired, "And the violent reaction I had with the bear's blood?"
"[Oh... that... Yeah, you'll still need a fresh source if you want to go down that route. Matter of fact, mind switching to your other sight? It'll be easier just to show you what I mean.]" Not understanding, but also not desiring to argue, he closed his eyes for a moment. Upon opening them, found the world brightly lit as colours of every shade and hue engulfed his senses to the point of him swaying with dizziness.
"I need to work on that," he muttered to himself whilst hearing a giggle from Azazel.
"[Eventually you will, but for now,]" he felt his head being turned towards the pool of cooled blood. Whereupon he noted the energy around it was blackening and solidifying, causing him to frown as his body retreated involuntarily from the source as though it were a disease ridden area.
Subconsciously, Karastak wiped the digit that dipped into the pool on the back of his pants/shorts, despite it already being clean. "Wh-what is that?" he stammered, desiring to escape from the cave.
"[That, Karastak, is what is known as Dead Energy. The life force of the blood, which kept it alive and hot, has run out til all that is left is what you see now.]" Her demeanour had changed as she explained this to him. No longer was it full of jovial humour, but was tinged with bitterness over this little fact about her world. "[You'll be able to see it all over the place when you leave the area, or whenever you come across something which should not exist. Like Zombies. Apparently, they're disgusting creatures which run on Dead Energy, but whatever.]
"[Right now, I suggest you find a new source, or just use your own.]"
"Use my own?" Staring down upon his hand with his enhanced sight, he noted various hues of red flowing steadily throughout his appendage. Here, he slowly moved his other forefinger to its counterpart, and pricked it. Whereupon a small bead of his blood, which appeared to be the colour of blooming red roses in spring, and tentatively licked it.
What he experienced from this was... nothing. It tasted as though it were fresh air, and felt the desire to not have anymore. And why would he? If he were to dine upon his own blood, would he not disappear? "[Yeah, you would,]" giggled Azazel, causing him to shake his head as he turned his thoughts, and back, away from the she-bear and towards trying to figure out what Enchanting could do upon this world.
"Let's start out small," he muttered, making sure to re-prick his forefinger once again. Whereupon he wrote the word SPARK upon the back of his left hand, and gave it a little energy. Of which led to him flinching as a few sparks of yellow energy flew up from the back of his hand.
"Hmm," his voice hummed as he splayed his digits whilst stretching his arm away from his body. Here, he imagined the sparks would erupt from the palm of his hand, and plied more energy into the word. Instead of such a thing occurring, what actually happened was the word flaring brightly before peeling away and floating in the air a few dozen centimetres above his flesh.
"Fascinating," Karastak's eyes widened, and began to stare intently upon the word, though immediately regretted his decision to do so. For just as he leaned a little closer, the word flared greatly, blinding his sight and causing him to cry out. Whereupon he snarled with anger as his knuckles were used to rub his closed eyes as he listened to the uproarious laughter coming from his patron.
"God fucking damnit," he growled, blinking away the spots which covered his vision, and felt annoyance from listening to the giggle which threatened to give his own body the giddiness in which she felt. Of which both ended rather quickly, as his vision returned to his eyes, "What the hell was that?"
"[Your Spark, by the looks of it,]" she giggled in the back of his head, "[That was rather amusing, though quite unexpected of you to put so much energy into it.]" To which only heightened her giggling as he responded with a growl.
"The word was only to create sparks, not a blinding flash of light," came his mutterance over the supposed Enchantment upon his flesh, "I thought you'd have at least fleshed this out when you gave me the Class."
"[Well...]" he felt as though her eyes were drifting away from himself, and imagined himself pulling on her cheeks. Of which caused her to frown and pout within his mind, "[Hey, no imagining me like that. Unless of course, you'd rather...]"
"Nope," he responded almost immediately, as a trickle of a thought showed himself and her performing an action which left him desiring bleach to clean out his mind, "You're too young, and I'd rather just not right now." Of which caused his mind to visualise her grinning a Cheshire grin, which immediately became a low frown as his member did not stir even in the slightest.
"[Fine,]" her voice drawled, "[And no, I didn't 'flesh it out'. It's a new class I thought of on the spot. Besides, you were a 'Word Smith' on your last world, so you should be able to figure it all out eventually.]"
To which Karastak simply sighed heavily, nodding a few times before starting up again, "This time, let's start with Flame and Ice."
