Hi, my name was Alex. I was your everyday human, boring job at the office, cheating now ex-girlfriend, and asshole friends. Well I forgot to mention I wasn't completely human. I'm about 1/1000th demon. Yes, you heard right demon. Of the hellish kind in case you were wondering. Of course I didn't know this until after I was dead, but it did explain a lot about my family total sociopaths each and every one of them. On my father's side that is.

  It also explains a lot about my life, what I, at the time, thought was 3 extremely unlucky circumstances all happening around puberty and continuing from there. My parents died when I was 15. Car crash, drunk drivers, the whole shebang. Went to live with my mother's family til they died in a house fire  on my 18th birthday when I moved out. The third circumstance is when I died on my 23rd birthday. Found out my girlfriend was cheating on me with my best friend. Went to go get drunk at the closest bar after finding out when I got shot in the head by a stray bullet by a mugger who missed the rich couple he was aiming at across the street. Soon as I walked round the corner I got pieces of my cranium decorating the wall behind me.

  So that is how I ended up here in a void of nothingness. I saw heaven when I first got here gates and stairways that looked like they were made of gleaming white marble. I was being pulled there til I saw an angel dressed like a Roman legionary blocking my way. The dude grabbed me by the scruff of my neck sniffed at me bit then threw me away saying one word "Demon".

  Then I started being pulled toward this red angry light that had buildings made of black onyx and volcanic glass til I ran into a demon dressed as a Greek hoplite  this time the same thing happened again only this time the demon said " Too human, not enough Sin".

  Now I'm stuck in between no longer moving, no longer seeing, no longer hearing any kind of sound. Stuck in an endless darkness.
