Chapter 44: (Shirley's Flashback) Her Royal Highnesses: Part 2.(✿◕ ω◕ฺ)ノ)

The black-and-white light left a spiral trail in the air and finally stopped at the table.

“No one’s going to come greet this princess?”

The black light vanished first, revealing a tiny fairy dressed in black, smaller than the palm of a hand.

Her crystal wings fluttered gently behind her.

She adjusted her long black hair, kept her head high, and spoke with arrogance.

However, due to her size and appearance, her words sounded somewhat amusing.

“Older sister...”

Next to her was a fairy with the same appearance.

Wearing a white dress in the opposite color to her sister’s, she showed an embarrassed expression and gently tugged at the arm of the fairy in black.

“Hmph! Why are you pulling me?”

The fairy in the black dress said indifferently.

“Sister, stop causing trouble...”

The fairy in the white dress tried to calm her in a low tone while making a deep apology bow to the attendees.

“Tch, I thought it was someone important!” Princess Harpia scoffed. “Just sit down already, you two little pests.”

“You!”

The fairy dressed in black, apparently offended, glared furiously at Princess Harpia and clenched her fists as if ready to fight.

The fairy in white immediately embraced the fairy in black and continued to comfort her in her ear.

After some persuasion, the fairy in black tossed her long hair back and turned around.

“I’ll let it go this time, but you’ll see next time...”

Before finishing her sentence, her attention was drawn to the tea cups placed behind her.

She fluttered her wings and reached the top of the tea cup.

Given her proportions, she could lie in the cup without feeling cramped.

“What a delightful aroma...”

She inhaled the fragrant air with pleasure and then dipped her head into the cup, licking the vanilla tea with her tiny pink tongue.

“Come quickly, this is delicious!”

After a few licks, the fairy in black called the fairy in white, seemingly having forgotten the previous incident.

Stolen story; please report.

“Oh really?”

The fairy in white flew to her and, following her example, dipped her head into the cup, licking the liquid inside.

The twin princesses, with completely opposite personalities...

Shirley watched the scene and knew that the chair would be useless.

After all, given their height and size, no one would be able to see them if they were sitting in a chair.

“Hey! Am I the last to arrive?”

Then, a cheerful laugh from a young woman echoed.

Accompanied by a metallic sound, a new guest entered the garden.

She resembled Karina, with long, unruly white hair and wearing heavy armor, with the collar, cuffs, and skirt decorated with white fur.

Compared to the other guests, she appeared much more robust, exuding a wild and authoritative aura that lowered the temperature of the garden.

She was the Princess of the Polar Kingdom.

Her race was Ice Demon Bear, so having such a temperament was normal.

However, what pleased Shirley even more was that someone had finally managed to sit properly in the chair.

The Polar Princess approached and sat in an empty seat, not caring about the chair.

“Crack!”

Before she could sit fully, the fragile chair broke with a groan.

Fortunately, the Polar Princess reacted quickly and got up.

Otherwise, she would have fallen to the ground, which would have been somewhat embarrassing.

Although, considering her personality, she probably wouldn’t have cared.

“Ah...” She scratched her head and gave a somewhat apologetic smile. “Sorry, it seems the armor is too heavy...”

“Don’t worry.”

Shirley smiled and ordered a servant to bring a larger and sturdier chair for the Polar Princess.

After the Polar Princess settled down with her arms crossed over her chest, only one person still had not arrived.

As that person had not yet arrived, everyone maintained relative silence.

Although they might have heard something about each other from the elders, this was the first formal meeting.

Maintaining silence until the last guest arrived was an unwritten rule.

But...

Why hadn’t the last person arrived yet?

As she pondered this, Shirley suddenly felt a chill on her neck and turned her head, curious about the source of the cold.

“Wow!”

Turning her head, she let out a cry and jumped back, almost ready to cast an offensive spell.

Because when she looked back, she saw a pale face with empty, disturbing eyes and blood tears streaming down it.

The figure stared at Shirley with wide eyes, a look of hatred, as if Shirley were responsible for its death.

Seeing Shirley’s frightened expression, the “ghost” behind her spun around and became partially transparent, disappearing from the spot, and then reappeared in the last empty seat with a mischievous and satisfied smile.

Princess Ghost!

Shirley gritted her teeth, clearly annoyed, as she looked at Princess Ghost, not understanding why she had chosen only her to play with.

“Ah, don’t be angry!”

Seeing Shirley’s angry look, Princess Ghost waved her hand, floating lightly to Shirley, and before she could react, she held Shirley’s face and gave her a light kiss on the lips.

“Wow!”

Seeing this, the black-dressed fairy princess looked at them with an exaggerated expression.

“Sister, we can’t see this yet.”

The white-dressed fairy princess beside her quickly covered the eyes of the black-dressed fairy princess.

“Glub glub glub glub—”

The mermaid princess released a long series of bubbles, and no one knew what she was saying.

As for Princess Harpia and Princess Polar, their reactions were relatively normal, showing only slight interest in watching the scene.

“Scoundrel!”

It wasn’t Shirley who cursed, but Karina, who was next to her.

She extended her sharp claws, seemingly ready to tear Princess Ghost apart.

“Wow, is this what they call a legendary battlefield?”

The black-dressed fairy princess struggled to remove the white-dressed fairy princess’s hands, hoping to see something more exciting.

“Ahhhh...”

Shirley let out a helpless roar.

“Everyone! Be quiet! Return to your seats and sit properly!”

At this moment, Shirley almost exhausted her authority for the next ten years, directly commanding everyone present.

Seeing everyone return to their seats and fall silent, she sighed in relief.

“Now, let’s introduce ourselves officially...”

“Wow—”

Before she could finish, the dryad princess let out a belated cry of surprise.

“Ha ha!”

In the end, everyone couldn’t hold back their laughter and began to laugh together.
