Paul feeling exhausted, soon fell into a deep slumber. Then something forced Paul's eyes to open. Lying on the smooth cobblestone floor, Paul slowly got up groggily but that's when he realized he was in a dream. finally standing up, Paul felt the cool breezy air brush against his clothes. Tall and large cobblestone walls stretched out on both sides like ancient giants the stone was dark and weathered, with intricate carvings of symbols and words Paul couldn't quite understand etched deep into the walls. The arches seemed to end at a cliff, where the stone walls were left cracked and broken. Looking at the sky, Paul took a step back. The sky hung above him in a deep, unsettling crimson red that pulsed like a heartbeat. The crimson sky wasn't fiery or warm, it was deep and dark casting a strange, otherworldly light. Walking to the end of the arch, Paul looked down. But, he saw nothing it was just a pure red abyss with a faint grey fog covering it like a blanket. Then a figure rose from the abyss. Dumfounded, Paul fell back and looked up as the figure continued to rise. Mouth agape, Paul looked up eyes wide open. The figure, dressed in dark red robes, carried a lantern that emitted a bright yellow light that penetrated the sky. Paul lost for words was greeted by the figure in a deep voice. "Hi Paul, you may not know me but I know you so let's start, shall we? I am the crimson reaper one out of the many crimson gods. My job is to tell you that you have been blessed with the scarlet blessing. This blessing allows one to call out any name of any creature or animal, and a blood figure of the animal will appear. From a simple animal to a complicated one, only your imagination ties you down. But before Paul could say anything else he was awoken by June calling out his name. Snapping back to reality, June had just gotten out of the shower and had called out for Paul. but paul still shocked from his dream continued lying in bed as June laid next to him.
