We continued driving for 20 minutes before we approached a police station.

“Let’s get this over with. I’m extremely exhausted.” [Teen boy]

“Miele how could u say something like that. This is an innocent 5-year-old boy” [Lily]

Miele groaned and walked off, leaving us at the police station.

“If only he could get over his bad attitude.” [William]

“Let’s go. I can’t stand him sometimes. He’s just some ordinary person with a little money.” [Lily]

Inside the police station.

“No, we haven’t found anything suspicious. I know that the light just outside of town was the descent of another god. Yes, I will keep searching, but I won’t promise you that I can find him. Those lunatics are surely searching everywhere for him. Their goals are completely whimsy making them extremely dangerous. I got to go, people are standing outside of the station.” [important police man]

Outside the police station.

The three of us entered the police station and walked up to the service desk.

The cop looked as if he was expecting us to come.

“Hello, how may I help you.” [important policeman]

“We are here to report a found child. He seems to have some kind of memory loss. We found him in the Davy Crockett national forest.” [William]

When William told the policeman that I was found in the forest nearby, he smiled and said, “I think I’ve heard of a missing child. Let me check with HQ.” He continued his friendly smile and walked into the back room.

“The new god should be a child, right?” [Policeman]

“Yeah, new gods usually appear 5 when they are found. Did you find a lead?” [voice]

“Yeah, 2 people reported that they found a child in the forest. They also said that the child had some type of memory loss. They aren’t very bright. Like who just finds a kid wandering around in the forest.” [Policeman]

“Delay them for 5 minutes. We’ll be there soon.” [voice]

“Roger” [policeman]

The policeman put down the phone and celebrated. This was to good to be true. He was guaranteed the promotion if this succeeded.

Calming down, he walked out of the backroom with his signature smile.

Main room.

“I need you guys to fill out some paper work. Don’t worry it’s only a little paper work.” [Policeman]

He handed William some paper work that asked for simple information, like identification, address, the purpose of coming to the police, and intended goal.

William was very proficient in doing paper work. It only took him 3 minutes to complete it. A normal man would have taken 20 minutes to complete it, but he only needed three.

It was impressive in its own way. He handed the stack of paper back to the officer.

“Is that it?” [William]

“No, I need you to wait here for a couple of minutes while I have someone sort through this stack of paper.” [policeman]

The policeman was shocked when he received the paperwork back.

He called for one of his associates to come get the paper. When he handed the paper work to the associate, he quietly whispered into his ear, “Take your time.”

The associate took the stack to the back and started on it.

We sat on the benches that are provided to those seeking help.

2 minutes later a group of large men burst. Behind the group of man was a middle-aged man. The man had stunning red hair and a handsome face. He had pasty white skin and a neatly trimmed beard.

The man radiated an aura of power and authority.

The group of large men blocked off all exits, giving the visitors a scare. The powerful man slowly walked up to us. He looked at all three of us before his eyes stopped on me.

“My name is Giles. Are you the boy that was found in the forest near here?” [Giles]

“Yes” [Leyves]

“I’m going to ask you to come with us” [Giles]

“What if I don’t want to” [Lyves]

“Then we’ll take you by force” [Giles]

“Oh, that’s good to know. Makes me feel better about doing this.” [Lyves]
