Chapter 204 It'S Good

CHAPTER 204 IT'S GOOD

“You stupid woman! What the hell are you doing? Do you want to break my eardrum?” Lucien Gray

grinds his teeth on the other end of the phone.

Just one short sentence, like a spring breeze blowing across a frozen lake, the estrangement and

distance between Nina Morrison and Lucien Gray magically disappears, and the arrogant Lucien Gray

comes back.

He can be mean to her, he can be arbitrary, but he has the warmest embrace and the purest smile.

Eh? So the phone isn’t broken. Lucien Gray is just playing dead and not talks? Nina Morrison is

stunned and explains, “Oh, I thought my phone was broken...I’m sorry...”

After the explanation, Nina Morrison suddenly doesn't know what to say, and Lucien Gray also keeps

silent.

The estrangement and distance come back. They are close to each other, the breathing can even be

heard, but they feel distant as if separated by a mountain.

Nobody speaks, nor hangs up.

What does Lucien Gray mean? Nina Morrison suddenly feels frustrated at having her hot face pressed

against his cold ass. She takes a deep breath and says softly, “Thank you for saving me. Good night.”

Her eyes aching, Nina Morrison reaches out her finger and is about to hang up. Then she hears Lucien

Gray’s voice over the phone, “Wait a minute.” This is property © .

“Huh?” Nina Morrison suddenly holds her breath.

“Nelson has been crying to play with you. Tomorrow, if it’s convenient for you, would you like to take

Nelson out to play with him?” Lucien Gray’s voice was weak and no emotion show out.

Eh? Hang out with Nelson? Nina Morrison hesitates and doesn’t speak.

Lucien Gray speaks again, “Don't worry, I won't go with you.”

“Oh, well. That’s…all right.” Nina Morrison answers quickly that she doesn't know if it’s to cover up her

little disappointment or because Lucien Gray’s not going makes her happy.

It’s really mixed feelings...

“Then... Good night.” The occasional silence on the phone almost smothers Nina Morrison. She wants

to end the call quickly.

But she pauses, waiting for Lucien Gray to answer.

On the phone, after a long silence, comes a clear busy tone.

He’s hung up the phone.

For the first time in so many years, he hangs up on her.

Nina Morrison holds her phone, staring at the blackened screen. The ache spread from the bottom of

her to the fingertip.

Nina Morrison tosses and turns all night. She wakes up in the morning with two black eyes.

Nina Morrison puts up a little concealer, still can’t hide it, so she just gives it up. Because she is going

to play with a child, she doesn’t wear a light make-up and wears a simple white T-shirt, jeans and

sneakers.

Never mind. Hasn’t she been worrying about this relationship? Now Lucien Gray has finally let go, why

would she feel sad?

Nina Morrison, don’t ask for a snub! She reminds herself again and again in the heart. She has made

psychological construction perfectly when arriving at the villa of Gray Family.

She calls before and sets it at 9 a.m. So getting out of the taxi, she sees little Nelson waiting for her at

the gate.

Next to Nelson stands Paige.

“Nelson!” The sadness and pain in her heart suddenly disappears as soon as she sees Nelson. Nina

Morrison runs to Nelson with a smile. She holds him up, high above her head and rotates him for a

round before holding him tightly in her arms.

The little boy giggles, with a pair of big eyes as clear as crystal and two deep dimples on the corners of

his mouth. He looks up at Nina Morrison, cranes his neck and kisses her on the cheek, “Auntie Nina, I

miss you so much!”

The sweet smell of milk rushes into Nina Morrison's nose. That’s the smell of an angel.

Nina Morrison hugs him tightly. Her eyes are full of smile. She kisses him on his nose, “Baby, auntie

misses you too!”

Paige comes over with a smile and hands Nina Morrison a backpack, “Miss Morrison, this is Nelson's

glass, a box of fruit, wet wipes and a couple of little toys that you can use if you take Nelson out.”

Nina Morrison takes it over smilingly, “You’re so thoughtful, Paige!”

Paige looks back at the mansion. She smiles and says to Nina Morrison, “These are prepared by Miss

Harris.”

Jasmine Harris? She’s here today, too? With Lucien Gray now?

Nina Morrison suddenly feels blocked and doesn’t want to stay any longer.

Nina Morrison is holding Nelson's hand as she prepares to say goodbye to Paige. Nelson pouts,

“Auntie Nina, would you please make my daddy not to be with Auntie Harris. I don't like to Auntie

Harris!”

Nina Morrison looks at Nelson in embarrassment and scratches his small nose, “I can’t decide. If

Nelson has some thoughts, you should talk to dad by yourself, okay?”

Nelson blinks and says, “All right, maybe my daddy won’t approve. Auntie Nina, let's go!”

Nina Morrison nods. She takes his little hand and is about to leave. Suddenly Paige shouts, “Miss

Morrison, young master and Miss Harris are coming. Would you like to say hello to them?”

Nina Morrison looks over her shoulder. Lucien Gray and Jasmine Harris are walking this way. Jasmine

Harris is holding Lucien Gray's arm, with a big bright smile on her face.

Nina Morrison’s eyes darken down. She is about to say no to Paige, but Jasmine Harris calls her

enthusiastically, “Nina! You come here. Why don't you go in? Nelson insists to wait for you at the door.

Now you come, he must be very happy.”

As they speak, they’ve come on to Nina Morrison and little Nelson.

As talking, Jasmine Harris bends down and gives little Nelson a playful twist on his face. “You little

thing, you're so of partiality, You have a new auntie and forget about me and your daddy.”

Little Nelson takes a step back, covering his face. He hides behind Nina Morrison, “Auntie Harris, it

hurts!”

Nina Morrison looks down and sees that little Nelson's face turns red. What a lot of strength Jasmine

Harris used!

Nina Morrison doesn't take much notice of Jasmine Harris's warm greeting. She just nods to her and

doesn't even glance at Lucien Gray.

Jasmine Harris holds Lucien Gray's arm so tightly that her whole body wants to stick to him, “Lucien,

why don't you say hello to a visitor?”

Her gestures and words are as confident as a hostess. That kind of intimate and slightly pettish tone

makes it very clear to Nina Morrison that she, Jasmine Harris, is Lucien Gray's real girlfriend.

Lucien Gray squints at Jasmine Harris and there is a sharp flash through the corner of his eye.

“Miss Morrison, it's hard to take care of children, so thanks for your help for playing with Nelson.”

Lucien Gray speaks quietly. His eyes flashes on Nina Morrison and goes away quickly.

Miss Morrison. He calls her Miss Morrison.

Nina Morrison suddenly wants to laugh. Was he getting back at her for calling him Mr. Gray when they

met for the first time after five years?

That's good. It's really good. Nina Morrison looks up at Lucien Gray with a smile, “It's my pleasure. Mr.

Gray.”
