When I gained consciousness, I felt a warm puddle around my body, seeping into my cloths. I felt weak. Even in my delirious state, I remembered. I had died, and I was going to die. As Yun Ning, I had died under the countless stars looking at a celestial beauty.
As Aaron Fang, I would die because I was betrayed.
Aaron Fang was 14 years old. He had long, lustrous black hair and piercing obsidian black eyes, much like his previous life as Yun Ning. He was currently in White Star Academy. A prominent Cultivation academy in Floating Cloud Continent. A girl that Aaron had a crush on had coaxed him into helping her on a mission. They had to into The Desolate Forest, kill a Xiantian Realm White Jade Antler Deer, and retrieve the jade antlers. The pair were successful in their kill and retrieve mission. Only after they killed the deer did the pair realize that it was protecting something. A 4th Grade Dan.
Each Grade of Dan, represented a Realm. 1st Grade represented The Houtian Profound Realm. The 2nd Grade represented The Xiantian Profound Realm. The 3rd Grade represented Elementary Profound Realm. The 4th Grade, was The Nascent Profound Realm. Each Dan was separated into low, medium, and high quality.
The Dan that the pair had found was a high quality 4th Grade Dan. A true treasure. Aaron Fang, and the girl, Su'er, were both in the Xiantian Profound Realm. A 4th Grade Dan was a priceless treasure to someone of their Cultivation.
At first, the pair were bewildered. A 4th Grade Dan was suppose to be hundreds or thousands of kilometers deep into The Desolate Forest and it should have been guarded by Nascent Realm Desolate Beasts. When the pair came out of their stupor, and realized that they had been granted heavens fortune, they celebrated their luck by having sex. Aaron had felt like he was truly favoured by the heavens. Not only did he find a 4th Grade White Berry, but he was also having sex with his crush.
Who knew, at the moment of Aarons climax, a dagger would pierce his heart, instantly killing him.
Death as a result of climax. Aaron didn't even have time to wallow in self-pity before he died.
Aaron was an 8th Realm Xiantian Cultivator. Su'er was a 5th Realm Xiantian Cultivator. The plan was that they would turn in the 4th Grade White Berry, in-turn receiving more contribution points than they both had accumulated in the past two years in the academy.
If Aaron wanted to keep the Dan for himself, he had the power to do so. But he was more than happy with sharing the reward between the two. He liked Su'er, and by sharing the reward, he would be in her good grace. Su'er unfortunately, had other thoughts.

She knew that Aaron was stronger than her by 3 Stages. There was no chance to forcefully take the Dan. He was one of the stars of the 2nd year students. Not many were equal to him, and it was one of the reasons why she had manipulated him into helping her. She knew that he had liked her. She had even liked him. He was handsome, intelligent, loving, and had a great future.
But a high quality 4th Grade Dan was just too tempting. If she were to turn it in, it would set her up for the rest of her school life, and it would put her advantage beyond any 2nd year student. Competition was fierce between students in the academy. If she does well in her time at the academy, she does well for the rest of her life. So Su'er made a plan. She understood the core weaknesses of men. More importantly, she knew a weakness of Aaron. That he liked her. She knew, that no matter Aarons Cultivation, that he was powerless at the moment of orgasm.
Even though she had steeled her heart, and went into a mental state colder than 0 kelvin, she still shed a tear when she had killed Aaron. But such was the way of the world. The importance of Cultivation went beyond love and sex, and she had done exactly that. Su'er had put her Cultivation and self-interest first.
Even though it had left a bad taste in her mouth, Su'er left with the deer antlers and the 4th Grade White Berry. She would report Aarons status as 'Killed in action'. It was not uncommon for a student to die during a mission. In her mind, Aaron was just one of them.
So Yun Ning, now Aaron Fang, lay there in a puddle of his own blood. It was Aarons love and compassion that had attracted Yun Nings wandering soul. But this did not mean that Yun Ning was naive. He had killed many clans in his previous life and could read a person perfectly. If he thought that someone could become a problem for him, that person would be taken care of quickly and efficiently. His love and compassion was not blind, it was only given to those who deserved it. But he could not move, and could not think of any way to stop the bleeding in his heart. He did not feel sadness, pain, remorse, or even betrayal. That was only because there wasn't enough blood in his brain to do so.
So he closed his eyes and waited for his inevitable death. Only then, did he hear the most sweet, loving voice say in his mind “We've only just met. It's too early for us to depart.”
