The world is a scary place, this is a belief held by alot of people but very few have actually experienced how scary the world can be. This is a story about one of the few who are both Blessed and Cursed, about a boy that goes by the name of Lern.

Lern was discarded as a baby and was put into an orphanage however he wasn't quite like everyone else. it became evident when he turned one. The reason for this is that he had already learned to read. and two months later Lern's reading speed had increased to the point that he could finish a harry potter book in an hour. Lern had gained extraordinary perception from reading many different types of stories during his first 2 years in the orphanage, he particularly liked fantasy books at first because of how they gave a believable belief to the protaganist and how they revolved around one cause, however this dident last to long because he got bored of how easy it was to read the characters next move ahead of time. You see? Lern thought of every book, every creature and every object as a puzzle where the goal was to see right through them all the way to the core.

Lern eventually changed his reading habits to include all types of books, it started with a romance because he was interested in the concept of love, but he couldn't grasp it. He then turned to horror stories for the concept of fear. Fear was something Lern had experienced his entire life but he had never experienced terror nor horror. so as the small kid he was he decided that he had to do some research on how to put yourself in a state of horror and put someone else in a state of terror.

This task proved more difficult than Lern thought because he was to short to reach his destination. Which in this case was a knife. Lern had reasoned that if he hurt himself enough he would probably feel horror, the same he hoped would apply to others to.

Lern got ahold of the knife after another year of research in woodcrafting books but at this point even the care takers had realised something was wrong.

The system in the orphanage was designed in such a way that the care takers wouldn't have to interact with any of the children so that they instead would just solve everything themselves. But now an oddity had appeared. in the past the children had followed the law of the strong. but now a single child had managed to escape this cycle. This worried the caretakers but they decided that interfering now would lead to bigger consequences than if they left it alone. This thinking stopped after a certain event had occurred.

Lern finally found out a reason to why he was considered different. He had tried to cut himself with the sharp kitchen knife but it had just bounced of his skin. after some intense training he had managed to cut of his finger but as soon as the connection was cut between the finger and the hand, it disintegrated and reappeared back on the hand.

So Lern who was mad because his attempt to horrify himself hadn't worked. so instead he tried to attack his fellow children. He did so by luring a child who had no confidence to his room. Then he slashed and slashed over and over again reveling in the scene of the child crying and vomiting. Lern started at the fingers cutting them clean then he cut the hand of after that the child started looking confused. Lern then started chopping up the arm in 6 fine slices. he did the same on the other arm. The child was now screaming so loud that the entire orphanaged rushed to Lern's room. However Lern had anticipated this so he had read a book on how to reinforce objects. The door was reinforced to the point that even 3 adults putting their whole weight on it would have problems opening it.

While the door was being pummeled down Lern had a wide smile plastered across his face while he casually spoke to the small child about how nice he was for letting Lern experiment on him. After 5 minutes Lern grew tired and decided that it was time to end it so he cut of the childs feet and legs the same way he had cut the hands and arms. the child died completely mutilated.

Lern Proceeded to unlocking the door.

The care takers rushed in just to be greeted by the violated corpse. but no Lern could be seen in the room.

Lern had already made it up to the roof by the time the room was stormed, and he had never been happier. The reason for this was because he had framed the largest bully in the house for the murder. Lern did so by carefully decorating his room with everything the bully had liked and then he made a deal with the bully that they would exchange rooms.

Lern continued to study diligently until he turned 8 and located his real parents. He left the orphanage for good and paid a visit to his parents, however he had made a present for them. 10 bars of poisoned girl scout chocolate. His father was confused as to why he was visited by an eight year old kid so he asked him why he was there and Lern answered.

"i am but a small kid who has a bit to much money on my hands and i happen to know how popular Girl scout chocolate is so i bought some of it that im now giving to everyone in this neighborhood. Your family got the honour of being my first lucky house visit."

The father became alot more talkative after hearing this and decided that some chocolate is never bad especially not when its free

so he took them after having a hearty dialog with the unusual child, so he decided that he would follow the advice of the child and give the chocolate to his 2 kids and his wife to eat at midnight.

2 days filled with vomiting of blood and the loss of hearing for the fathers family. they died. and the father was left alone to feel how it felt being abandoned and forced to live alone.

another 3 days passed and the father was put in a mental asylum.

This is the first half of the prologue and im sure that im going to make another half where Lern grows up and obtains his Royal Road capsule.

The gods Were furious, a mere mortal had managed to get a hold of the baby to Athena the goddess of wisdom and war.

So naturally the gods had to do something about it but they were indecisive and therefore ineffective. they did nothing for many an hour but one day Loki the trickster god spoke up.

“We cant sit here forever, why dont we just hypnotise the perpetrator to leave the baby somewhere where it can be picked up.”

The gods remained sceptical but decided that no one would be more appropriate to send than loki himself. The mission he got was to retrieve the baby and deliver it to Athena.

Loki had no problems hypnotising the man who stole the baby but after that things took a turn for the worse. The baby had lost its immortality and was therefore locked out of the higher realm.

Loki being the trickster he is decided that if i cant bring him back i might aswell do something fun so he injected some of his genes into the baby and mutated it so that it would gain both the knowledge and wisdom of Athena but he would also gain the shrewdness and wickedness of Loki.

Loki reported back that the baby had lost its immortality and that they should leave it be.

The other gods were furious but they weren’t stupid so they knew that there was nothing they could do.

This was the last time the gods let Loki be trusted with anything. Not because he failed but because of what is to happen later when the child grows up.

so this is my first fanfiction and im pretty sure i could have done better but for now this is okay.
