After Lern and Maya confirmed that the deal was in effect they both wanted to get their part. This meant that Lern wanted to eat a ludicrous amount of food while Maya desperately tried to take him to the hospital so that he could carry out his part in the agreement.

"Foods to important to just leave so no matter how much you hurry me i wont leave!"

Lern being adamant in his decision wouldn't let go an inch. He continued to eat his fill many times over.

"But its... nah i give up"

Lern won this fight but Maya would be the one to win the war.

...Some time later...

Lern had been put to sleep in an RR capsule combined with surgical equipment and an X-ray all in one. Admittedly Maya wasn't to liked in the clinic since she didn't explain why she needed this but she instead just utilized her influence to get what she wanted. But Maya couldn't be bothered with keeping everyone informed, in fact it would be extremely stupid of her to reveal the secret Lern carried.

She examined Lerns sleeping face as a kind of revenge for when he had woken up before her and embarrassed her, but after a while her gaze started to wander around the room while she silently thanked god for the fact that she lived in a house previously owned by the head doctor and as a direct result she had access to the equipment necessary to examine Lern.

But Maya had lots of work to do since she couldn't share this secret with anyone which meant that she had to do all the work herself.

Lern had gathered some small tidbits from Maya, these included the fact that he would start in a pitch black room with a friendly feminine voice guiding him through the character creation process, however this wasent the case.

Lern found himself facing a multitude of shrine's all around him. A couple of thousand of them could be seen in the room he found himself in. Now Lern was a boy with experience in unusual stuff but this took the cake so he was dumbstruck. After the confusion turned to interest he walked around to read the text on the shrines and he started on the one in front of him.

It was a statue made in solid gold decorated with diamonds and it seemed to depict a comedy/tragedy mask

intrigued Lern looked at the text but it wasn't something he had ever seen before. Luckily Lern had studied decryptation so after reading around on the nearby shrines he learned the language and the text on the Comedy/tragedy statue seemed interesting

"Thy who bereth filthy lies prepareth, thy shall find love. Thy who bereth clean intentions prepareth, thy shall find hate."

The text seemed to talk about how people will find the thing they want the least but that wasn't all since Lern looked to the feet of the statue and identified some more text.

"As fortold thy who dare touch thy holy shrine shall face your past and future"

Now with his curiousity through the roof he took a hold of one of the masks.

Lern saw images flash by, images of his past of how he came to earth and how he lost his extraordinary mother early and how a man transformed to a snake and bit him all the way to his current time. He was furious, Why was he left in the dust? Why did he lose his rightful godhood? All these questions flooded his mind but he soon found himself and everything around him crumbling and rebuilding resulting in him being transported to a completely different scenery.

Lern now currently located in the unending void he had heard about looked a bit bleak to say the least. He might as well have become a corpse by this point considering how pale he looked.

After a while of waiting he expected the feminine voice that controlled character creation however what he was meet by was a deep grandpa-esk voice and a face that looked alot younger than the voice beloning to it.

"Hello how are you doing Lern? Wait no scratch that i already know. Instead lets talk about more urgent things like how you want your character to be"

Loki being bored as usual looked over the state of Lern and learned about him traveling to the alternate dimension of RR and as such decided that it was an opportunity to good to pass by. His plan was to let Lern experience a bit of his power so that he could win him over in order to deal with the greek gods in the future.

Now a good question is how Lern has the power to deal with a whole pantheon of gods and the answer to this is quite simple. only mystic beings beloning to their respective pantheon can hurt their own pantheon. And Lern had showed his potential for growth early when he read so many books and basically absorbed the knowledge of an adult at the age of 3.

Lern's POV

After thinking abit about his character he decided that he wouldn't change anything so he just told the face that it should stay as is. So he was soon on his way again and this time to the real game he thought.

However he still had one more choice that was governed by Loki and this was by far the most interesting thing Loki had planed.

"Choose one of these four artifact and you shall receive a benefit depending on your choice. Your options are the staff which furthers your potential in the field of magic. You can also chose the sword which will improve your physical capabilities tremendously. And the shield which increases your technique when it comes to blocking unnecessary damage. Last but not least you can choose the mask you brought with you if you want something else."

Lern wasent interested in a cheatsy character so he chose the mask mostly because it had followed him through the shrine and it felt like it belonged to him already.

Now he was on his way to the world of RR for real this time.

it took a while but i can finally start the game part of the story [th_084_.gif] also i kind of patched up a solution to why Maya had been able to examine Lern presumably without medical equipment, its not the best solution but its still better than nothing.
