The two girls were on their way to have some tea in the park.
After the destruction caused by the spider bots, the entire town's school system ordered holidays for the kids and even free days for the adults, at least until the next week.
And these two girls were going to make the most of those free days. After all, the town had been attacked by robots they knew nothing of.
As a result, they needed to de-stress, as most people would.

The pair immediately laughed out loud, even tearing up.
Elizabeth: You should try acting like that girl Cassidy.
Rachel: Really?
Elizabeth: Yeah, for real.
Their laughter slowly died into laboured breaths.

As they turned to the next street, they found a somewhat older man.
It was an odd sight, to be sure, because he was squatted down next to a tree.
The girls gave each other a look before they both turned get a closer look, and much to their surprise, he was feeding squirrels.
Elizabeth and Rachel: Oh my gosh!
The man turned to the both of them and smiled. He was a handsome older man, but not that much older, in a coat and hat, somehat dapperly dressed.

The pair of girls could not help but try to get closer to him. After all, he was a handsome, well-dressed man, not too much older than either of them.
Elizabeth: You're so sweet!
Rachel: I know, right?
They immediately walked over to the squirrels who were hastily eating at the crumbs of food the man had left them on the ground.
Elizabeth: Awwwww, you wittle babies.
Rachel: Oh, you.
Elizabeth: Oh, come on. They're cute, aren't they?
Rachel: Uh huh...
Elizabeth: Excuse me, Mister? What did you...
But before she could finish, the man tipped his hat to her and walked away in a somewhat calm and gentlemanly manner, leaving both girls stunned.
Rachel: Well, that was weird.
Elizabeth: Yeah, but he's so mysterious, isn't he?
Rachel: Yeah, he was kinda hot.
Elizabeth: I wonder, does he live near here?
Rachel: Oh my gosh, Eliza!
Elizabeth: (sarcastically) What?
Rachel: You....
But before she could finish, a squirrel started squirming aggressively on the ground.
Rachel and Elizabeth: Huh?
The squirrel had begun growling while squeezing its stomach.
Elizabeth was the first to act.
Elizabeth: Oh, my little baby. Are you gonna be ok? Did his food give you an upset tum tum?
Rachel shook her head with slight disapproval before it happened.
Bit by bit, its hairs grew longer, each standing on end.
Rachel: Uhhhh... Eliza?
Elizabeth shortly after begun to notice it as well and begun to back off.
Elizabeth: Uhhh... baby squirrel.....?
Its cute little chirps then turned to growls, something like those of a rabid canine. It also slowly grew bigger, doubling in size and grew sharper incisors as well as claws.
Elizabeth: Wh... what the...?!
Rachel: Wha......?!
Before either could react, this odd ball of fur and aggression, turning to the closest person, jumped on Elizabeth's face and attacked her, cutting at her face.
The shock from both ladies was so great that it took them and the onlookers a full two seconds to react in any way, shape, or form.
What was the first reaction? Of course, an ear piercing scream from Rachel.
Rachel: Eliza!!!!!
