“Would you like to eat at this restaurant?” Mirawadee protested as she looked at the luxurious restaurant in front of her. So luxurious that I didn’t even dare step out of the car.
“Aren’t you hungry? Or you don’t like it, should I change the store?”
The young woman let out a breath. That is because of a luxury store. Just looking from the outside, she knew that the price must be exorbitantly expensive.
“Are you worried about money?” Rachata said, reading through the girl’s expression. “You are my wife. Why are you even bothering about this?”
“No, I’m just not used to walking into expensive restaurants.”
Rachata smiles at the corner of the mouth.
“Let’s go down. I’m hungry. If it’s longer, then I might.”
“Let’s go then,” she blurted. She can’t guess the words what the suffix will be, but she thinks it must be a word that makes her heart flutter.
This upscale restaurant covers several square meters. The atmosphere inside is classic brown tones. On the ceiling and walls were small light bulbs lined up. Create warmth and comfort for people walking in and out. And enjoy the conversation during the meal. This seems more like a romantic place for couples to date. Round eyes looked around as the girl walked beside the young man.
“I have reserved a table.”
“Are you Rachata?” asked the young waiter. When he nodded his head, he had someone lead him to the reserved table.
When they arrived at the reserved table, which was quite a private corner, no one passed by. The young woman sat down and looked at the menu displayed on the screen next to her.
“Do you like to eat anything in particular?”
“I can eat anything,” was the vague answer. Because it does not use her herself to very expensive luxury food. Even though she’s been to treat some customers, the price is not that expensive. Importantly, this is like a shop that divides class and the world into two separate halves. She read from the news that if there was no connection or the person was not rich, booked for a year, it might not even have a queue.
“Then I will order for you.” He judged himself and immediately ordered the food. Before saying, “Because I know you can’t decide today for sure.”
Mirawadee let out a breath. That was true because, looking at the price, she was reluctant to order. “You talk like you can read my mind again.”
Rachata laughed in his throat. “Your face has that expression. I don’t need to read your mind, but.”

“But what is it?”
“If your feelings for me Maybe I’d like to read your mind.” The other’s serious tone and eyes made Mirawadee stunned, unable to do anything. It’s not that they’re happy or shocked. But it’s confusing and unsettling. He wanted to know about her feelings. But he didn’t even tell her how he felt about her. If she told him, he would be uncomfortable later. Isn’t that bad?
“My feelings for you?” Mirawadee replied and smiled before continuing. “I don’t know either. Because I’m not ready right now. You know this, right? Why did I marry you?”
Rachata smiled and looked at her showing no emotion. He didn’t expect her to love him now, or tomorrow, because that frightened his heart the most.
“The food has arrived.” He changed the subject as soon as they served the food.
Mirawadee smiled. Even though those words made it oppressive to sit and stare at him. But it’s better than talking about your feelings. Day by day, she feels more and more afraid of her own heart. If one day this marriage ends, she wants to keep his memories and leave behind the reason he proposed to her.
The light from an orange lamp in the secret room detects a signal through a sensor system. As soon as someone passed by and the lights along the way slowly lit up. The sound of footsteps walked in until it stopped. All the lights in the room lit up. Sharp eyes looked at the large stone tablet on which the slabs were carved. To the right of the stone, there was a carving of an ancient knife placed on a platform. On the left, there is scripture on the pedestal as well. In front of the engraved stone was a small antique box that was well placed with a key, as if it were an offering.
He reached out to touch the stone slab with painful eyes. He doesn’t know when the gods will stop playing tricks on human lives. In ancient texts, there is no record of solving this curse. Moreover, the rumors were hundreds of years before his birth. Instead, it was said that it was a gift from the gods to humans.
Soon everything will be over.
Rachata closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He will never forget his own desires. Even though the deep cuts in the heart and the fears were brewing,
“Are you sure?” Apo’s voice sounded behind him before he appeared. Every time and every day, he would see a young man come into this room, standing there looking and touching the stone slab in agony.
“What do you mean by that?”
Apo cast a grumbling glance because the Rachata’s expression differed from what he had seen before. Not because of waiting or suffering from the curse. But it confused that feeling that he had already forgotten a long time ago. “
“You’re making her love you. While you’re in love with her, aren’t you?”
Rachata’s sharp gaze turned to the white rooster and replied in an indifferent tone. “That doesn’t matter.”
The question that Apo asked didn’t want to confirm the other person’s feelings. But he just wanted to know if Rachata was sure to play a game of inevitable fate. The gods of destiny may determine the destiny of human beings. But there is no way to define human feelings.
“You should hurry to tell her.”
Apo warned with trepidation.
Rachata looks at Apo, disappearing into the air. The words that ended were like a warning or something, but deep in his eyes, there was confusion and worry. He didn’t know when that feeling that had been cut off for hundreds of years had returned.
He can’t... can’t tell her right now.
The young man turned and walked out of the secret room as the light gradually went out. Suddenly, the ancient stone slab standing on the platform suddenly appeared. Black smoke appeared around it before disappearing into the air. The sound passing through his ears didn’t bother him, even though the door was already closed.
