7 - Lion's eye

7 - Lion's eye

As soon as I've gotten my healthy squirrel snack, I spotted a Kir wearing strange clothes and dripping wet. Strange, the Kirs aren't supposed to be in these regions. Oh well, these things wouldn't matter once he's in my stomach.

I dashed at him while he looks distracted, with one paw open to slam him downwards, I expected him to counter it, but strangely, he dodged instead. I delivered another at him, he evaded successfully. This Kir is peculiar, the Kirs were supposed to fight with their strong physical strength and offensive magic, yet, this Kir doesn't use either of them.

Just as I was expecting a blowing punch from him, he disappeared from my sights. Ah, so that's why he has a small physique. He specialized in stealth.

I turned around, and instantly found him, he panicked and went for my back. I spun to find he also circled around me. I'll play your game.

We spun several times, until finally he once again disappeared from my sights. I swept the surrounding area for him, he could be anywhere, my gaze wasn't stationary and always shifted from here and there.

Suddenly, I felt a bug's bite on my fluffy back. I supposed he tried to stab me, but his knife was weak and broke. Hah. I should end this soon.

With two of my paws reaching at my back, but could only grasp empty air. This annoys my. I frenzied my arms to grab him, but there was nothing to grab. I don't even know whats the Kir doing now with his knife broke.

After a few minutes, I began to feel drowsy, strange, I know I slept enough, but why? My paws are slowly losing their energy as my eyes struggled to keep open.

After half an hour, I held no more energy to even stand, I know that Kir did something to me, but what. Poison perhaps?  I slammed on top of the grass with my body, just seconds away before my eyes close.

So this is how I go. Killed by a puny Kir. I always pictured my death to be a bit more extravagant, fighting alongside my master with thousands of enemies. Not like last time, to be ordered to end my own life myself. Ops, I'm gonna sleep now

Waking up, realizing I'm not dead yet but too tired to even care, I went towards the lake to take a bath. But I accidentally glanced infront of me for a moment. And what I saw baffled me, the Kir who defeated me, holding a stick that held a fish as big as his hands with a vine. I understood that he was trying to tame me, but didn't it dawned upon him that maybe the fish is too small for me?

Ignoring him, I continued towards the lake. The way was easy to find, I couldn't imagine someone getting lost going to it.

I dived inside the lake,  found a large pointy fish, and caught it. All the while being bored.

When I got back, the expression on his face was funny. It was at that moment I decided to follow this Kir to wherever he goes, as his servant. I already grew terribly bored of the forest. There was nothing to do here except eating and bathing.

With my mind set, I used my hands to communicate with the Kir. I hoped he understands. I want him to know that the any meals, when raw, was, and is flavourless.

"Uhm. Undercooked fishes are bad?"

I tilted my head sideways, the language he spoke was long forgotten. How strange, this only intensified my intent on following him. Upon seeing my puzzlement, he nodded. Oh, he thought I didn't understand language did he. Oh well, let's just continue

I showed him that he should cook for me. He made a confused face. So I made the gestures one more time. He nodded, then tilted. Good, he caught on. I was trying to tell him that what should I do if he cooks, indirectly of course.

By the way he used his hands, I think he wants me to be his mount. Sure, either way, I was going to follow him. I offered my hand, and he offered his. This looks ridiculous, I wonder why I did that. Oh well, the deeds been done.
