A thick layer of smoke enveloped the entire campus of Sin Academy and all the students scrambled up to their feet as they fled out from the collapsing building. Fear and panic can be seen in their eyes and their piercing screams were heard as the strong gust of wind swept across the school premises. It was a critical hit, indeed!

"Eeekkkkk!"

The scream was from a female student who lost her balance and was slowly crawling towards safety when pieces of steel and glass shards were falling fast toward her.

Seconds before the disaster, two silhouettes were seen swiftly approaching the student.

"Right on time!" Yelled the guy with silver hair and Sin Academy crest on his right armband. He carried the female student in his arms as pulverized steel and powdered glass showered down.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Asked a petite female student wearing the same armband as the silver-haired guy. The gauntlet she used to pound the falling debris reverted back into normal tactical gloves.

The grip of panic that choked the entire Sin Academy earlier had been easily overcome with the appearance of the duo. The screams of terror were instantly replaced by cheers and applause of the crowd.

"Our goddess Ava is here!"

"How I envy that girl in Xandros' arms!"

"Hell yeah! Xandros is carrying her like a princess."

"Ava's amazing! She pulverized the steel and glass shards in no time."

The cheers of the crowd were abruptly interrupted when they saw fireballs hailing down from the sky.

Chaos once again descended and the students of Sin Academy started to run fast as they desperately search for a shelter.

However, in the midst of disorder, the fireballs halted midway. A portal appeared, leaving every mouth and eyes in Sin Academy wide open.

"Thank you for choosing Maddox's express delivery!" Maddie yelled as s

he tossed the beaten Sin Academy Vanguards out of the portal.

"You can thank my generosity later, that is... If you guys are lucky enough to survive my assault." After saying those words Maddie and the portal disappeared, the fireballs started moving towards the ground again.

Screams of despair grew louder as the warmth of the fireballs was felt and the nearing end of their lives was realized.

Academy heads and students of other schools who watched the fight held their breath in horror as numerous fireballs descended and burned down Sin Academy. However, some can't help but be vocal with their reaction.

"Hmmm looks like HA Academy found a reliable guardian."

"Come back is real! Well done HA, well done!"

"Tsk! What a show-off"

"Josue! Investigate that guardian and do everything and anything to bring her to our side!"

The battle had ended so as Sin Academy. Nothing remained of the once proud school that stood in the northern part of the continent except its ashes. Ashes that slowly disappeared as the wind blew them away.

"W-what are you?" Touma asked in his cracking voice, edging backwards, away from the academy's new guardian.

"What am I? I'm...."

Maddie was about to tell Touma the truth but her empty stomach prevented her from doing so.

"Oi, Principal! Prepare my food. I did well, right? I was amazing, wasn't I Wip?"

"Actually, you are horrible, master."

"Huh?! I destroyed an entire school of demon supporters! How dare you call me horrible, you vile creature!"

"Master, you should have persuaded them to come to our side. Oh, it was better if you made them your supporters instead of annihilating them. Because of your harsh display of power your deed points went negative."
