Cain experienced his fair share of troublesome and traitorous humans to the point he ended up detesting humanity. After several incidents, he closed off his heart and replaced it with a darker frame. He spent his days alone, analyzing other people and their groups of friends. During his free time, he attempted various ways to end his life but failed every time. He began thinking God was interfering, claiming it was a curse of some sort. However, an opportunity arose when his school was suddenly attacked by an 'alien'. Seeking a badass ending, he bravely picked up a weapon and lunged forth. To his surprise, he killed the alien. This event caught the attention of another alien—a princess at that. "To think that a human would kill a high-grade alien. How intriguing~" the woman said, leaning closer to him. Briefly after, she pinned him down and licked her lips. "I've decided. Human, you shall become mine," she said before she took him with her. Humanity saw the attack as a declaration of war. Cain, who held disdain and a grudge toward humanity, sided with the aliens. He saw it as an opportunity to die an inevitable death, along with the possibility of sating his thirst—the extinction of humanity, that is.
