Author's note: Hello, it's been a bit. I meant to have this up Saturday but my internet decided it didn't feel up to it that day. And if not for the fact that I was pissed on Sunday I would have gotten it up then. Hopefully such a thing won't happen again. Please enjoy and point out anything I can improve upon.

As the group of zombies neared Azad, they split off into two groups and began flanking him. Azad noted that they still have some semblance of intelligence, before attempting the famous dodge roll to the right. Turns out, doing such a thing is way harder than they make it look in video games.
Instead of landing on his feet on the other side of the zombies, Azad just landed on his back and slid a few feet before stopping.
"Fuck." Azad managed to say before having to roll out of the way of a zombie's arm swinging down on him.
Now back on his feet and slightly embarrassed, Azad once more attempted to form a plan that didn't involve dying. This was proving difficult. Before he could come up with anything useful, another arm came swinging at him, forcing him to dodge and take a few steps back.
"This isn't working!" Azad yelled at himself.
Two zombies lunged at him from both sides. Azad side stepped the one to his left, causing the two zombies to bump into each other and fall to the ground. Azad saw his chance and swung down on the zombie closest to him.
He had aimed for the middle of the forehead, but having not regained his balance from his amateur side step, he missed and hit the neck instead.
Quickly ripping his pick from the zombies neck, he swung to the side in an attempt to kill the zombie that was almost up. Unlike his previous try, this one hit where he intended, ending the zombie.
With one dead and another immobile, he now had what looked to be 13 left.
Another zombie charged Azad, as if wanting to ram him. Reacting purely on instinct, Azad thrusted his pick forward like he was trying to stop the zombie with the tip.
Without stopping, the zombie ran headfirst into the tool, not only caving it's head in but also snapping it's neck. Unfortunately for Azad, the zombie's momentum carried the body forward, crashing into him and taking him to the ground for the second time.
"Motherfucker!" Azad screamed while pushing the corpse of himself.
Before he could get up, 4 zombies were upon him. One hit Azad in the face, sending him back to he ground.
Azad, now with a broken and bleeding nose, was getting angrier at the situation. Once again trying to get up, Azad was this time kicked into another zombie, who was toppled with Azad on top of it.
Azad took this chance and grabbed the zombie's head and tried to smash it on the ground. It didn't go as planned and the zombie managed to bite onto Azad's thumb.

"AAAHHH!" Azad screamed In both anger and pain.
With his anger rising once again, he crushed the monsters head with his hand before it could completely tear off his thumb.
"Fuck it! I'm done with careful!" Azad screamed as he jumped up and pumped himself full of mana.
The zombie the hit him in face attempted it again, only to suffer the same fate with it's face torn apart with Azad's pick.
"Die!" Azad angrily cursed the undead.
With those down, Azad tuned tot he ten left and raised his free hand. In front of his palm formed a white flame.
"Burn in hell you god forsaken sacks of rotting flesh!" Azad said the most insulting thing he could think of in his rage as he unleashed the flame and burnt half of the group to ashes.
The undead, seemingly unfazed by his anger and the death of their comrades, continued to charge him.
Azad launched his foot into the stomach of the leading undead, sending it flying back in many directions. Using the momentum from his kick, Azad took a step forwards and swung his pick down onto the head of the next undead, straight down the middle of their skull.
Azad then swung the pick, still stuck in the undead's head, towards the next one, missing it and sending the one stuck to his pick off to the side.
Instead of recovering his stance, Azad just flung his other arm at the undead's head. He didn't even bother forming a fist and just fueled his hand with mana. Instead of smashing into the undead and crushing it's head, it cut straight through it as if it was a sword.
Azad half noticed but was too angry to care and just turned to the last two. One was a bit further back than the other, which was also charging Azad. Azad dodged the tackle and swept the undead's legs and smashed it's head.
Now with one left, Azad's adrenaline was wearing off and he was feeling tired. Azad just grabbed the last one by it's neck and snapped it, leaving it unable to do anything but bite.
"You shouldn't leave it alive. Well, "alive". George told Azad.
"And why's that?" Azad asked George, still slightly angry.
"Because given enough time and mana, they will eventually regenerate." George informed Azad.
"Fine." Azad complied as he stomped the undead's head.
"Don't forget the other one." George pointed out.
"I know." Azad replied.
Azad limped over to the last remain undead before also stomping it's head.
With the fight over, Azad checked himself for injuries. He had a broken leg, arm, a few ribs, and a bump on his head. In all he felt like shit.
"Don't risk infection, go take a bath in the stream over there." George said as he pointed to the stream a bit from the road.
"Good idea." Azad agreed with George for once. The rotting blood smelled terrible.
