I have a confession to make. During my time off after finishing book 4 of The Big Bad Wolf, I've not worked on Book 5 any further. Instead I've spent all my time working on another project.

I've been having a lot of fun writing it, and I'll think you'll enjoy reading it. All the lessons I learned from writing this series and all the things my editor taught me really made a difference. Compared to what I wrote when I first started, it's a world apart. Is it perfect? Yeah... no. Not even close. But I'm thrilled with the progress I've made in just a couple of years.

This story follows a different character in the same universe but not in the same world. The events of this series can be referenced, even spoiled to the observant, but are not necessary to understand what's going on. This is where I'm getting my feet wet with the litRPG genre. It's something I wanted to do even before writing The Big Bad Wolf, but I wanted to learn the craft of writing first. As that is my intent. Always pushing myself to try new things and push myself to improve.

What does it mean to be an artificial soul? Who created her, and why? And why can’t she be allowed to live?

The answers lie within the Nexus. While the Soul Nexus can give, it will also take. Rina must survive long enough to unveil the secrets that could shatter her grip on reality and everything it means to live.
