So I was considered as a one-man team? This will be a tough battle, I just hope when I come across the knights academy they would've at least lost 3 or 4 people.

I started making my way towards the stadium, halfway the journey I dug a hole and slept inside it. The next day on the outskirts of the stadium, I climbed up a tall tree and took a nap and only opened up my eyes when a notification popped up again.

It was already 8 pm so I still had 4 hours, I made use of it and arrived at the stadium before anyone else and before the clock struck 12 a few teams have been wiped out

"The stadium Battle royale shall now commence! "

Then we were teleported to the Stadium each team on different sides, the stadium was as large as a football field it was a bit cramped.

I looked to my right and saw a knight clad in white armor and had a large shield with a sword this guy must be the last member of the Warriors of Light, on my left was two elves, one male one female, however, the female was a dark elf. Her hair and body color was ash gray and her face was covered by her hood but her body could be seen from her tight outfit, she was slim and her breast was small.

A countdown appeared in the center, everyone readied their weapons

"Battle Royale Start!! "

Contrary to my expectations everyone stood still, refusing to be the first to make the first move.

After a minute has passed somebody moved, It was the Witches. They moved behind the Knights... So it was a truce forming, The Fencers and Valkyries also teamed up.

Then the male elf spoke

"Could you let us in your alliance? "He asked towards the knights. His companion though was surprised, it was clear that this is something they didn't agree upon.

"Heh as long as you tie up that dark elf companion of yours and offer her to us then we agree"

one of the knights said as he lecherously looked at the female elf.

"Clint!, what are you doing?! "The female elf looked at her companion who aimed his bow at her

"Alisa don't worry I'm doing this for our school," the elf named Clint said

"How could you! " the female elf named Alisa replied, as she jumped back and fired an arrow at Clint, this was the signal for the battle to start.

The fencers-valkyries fought the knights-witches while the two elves were fighting amongst each other all that's left now was the Warrior of Light and me.

We looked at each other, I took out rea and held her with both my hands.

"Aren't you a mage? "The warrior asked

"Can't I wield a blade? "I asked back

"then, don't disappoint me! " he charged at me with his broadsword and shield in hand.

I struck first but he blocked with his shield and swung his sword to my waist, but I jumped up and with my left hand I froze his feet with [ice binding], I landed behind him and infused rea with [ice giant's strike] and used [smash].

My blade exuded a larger silhouette of itself made out of Ice cold mists and followed behind my blade as I smashed the back of the warrior.

My attack formed a deep pit but the warrior was no longer there, the other teams, on the other hand, was too busy to notice.

I was surprised at my own attack, and while I stood at the edge of the pit thinking for a bit before something hit my back. I looked behind me only to see the dark elf Alisa kneeling on the ground holding her stomach while the other hand was preventing her from completely collapsing on the ground.

"You poisoned me! "She roared at Clint full of resentment and anger

"Heh now be a good girl and surrender" Clint said as he went closer to her body with a rope.

"Tch over my dead body" Alisa grit her teeth and tried to move her body but it was all in vain

"How dare you a disgusting dark elf defy me a pure and clean elf! you deserve death!! " Clint roared as he fired arrows at her.

I stood in front of her and used rea to block the arrows since this is being watched by people I also want to look good in front of my parents, Mira and Arachne.

"Move out of the fucking way human! " shouted Clint

I ignored what he said and helped Alisa to stand up.

"Why are you helping me? " she asked while being vigilant

"Hmm, because I don't want a beautiful young woman to be hurt" It was honestly what I thought

She was dumbfounded

It was a bit awkward so I only readied my stance to defend.

"A disgusting dark elf and a human trash! A perfect match! " said Clint, as he kept firing arrows.

I only moved rea in order to block, and this only pissed him off further so I had to end this fast before that elf become a nuisance.

I threw an [ice lance] it was bit fast so it impaled him before he could even react.

"You're that dual elemental mage" Alisa spoke in surprise

"How did you know? " I was sure no one knew of my abilities except those on the Academy.

"That Ice lance you used was the same as the one who fought against the dark arts students, which caught our attention " Alisa explained

"Is that so. "I fucked up

I looked at the other two teams and it was down to 2 knights 1 witch vs 1 fencer and 1 Valkyrie, After a few minutes, the fencer and the Valkyrie were defeated.

The other team looked at us and I brought out lea, I now have both my blades equipped.

"Van, can we take him down fast and have fun with the elf hehe" a knight with a shield and spear said

"Sure Erman, let's go Josie slowdown that idiot" said the other knight as he charged with his light shield and long sword.

"Ok! "Replied the witch as she chanted

"[Shadow ball!] " the witch used a spell but I moved to the side just in time and evaded it, Erman thrust his spear but I blocked him with rea meanwhile Van came behind me and swung his sword sidewards however lea met his sword before it could hit me.

"[Shadow bind]! " Josie shouted out and black chains came out of the ground and chained me in place.

Seeing me being chained, the two attacked even fiercer but they weren't able to break my defenses

"Tch damn it this guy is good, Josie, forget slowing him down let's all attack him" Erman roared.

The witch started chanting but was disrupted by me after I threw an [ice lance] at her direction, Van didn't miss this chance and struck with his sword but I already predicted this and raised an [ice wall] behind me and stopped his attack.

I dashed forward and started my onslaught against Erman, after a while, he was stabbed in the chest and was teleported away.

"You fucker! "Van roared from behind me before he swung his sword on my head, I rolled forwards and turned around to face him.

"[Severing slash]! " he roared as he swung his sword again but I dodged it, it left a deep slice on the ground.

"Mister Van please move now! "Screamed Josie as she finished her chant.

"[Shadow blast]! " a magic circle appeared above her head and unleashed a black ray, I infused rea with [fire stream] and swung her downward creating a big fire wave that headed for 1 direction while leaving behind a fiery trail I call it [fire path].

Both our attacks clashed but in the end, my [fire path] won and almost incinerated Josie.

"Die" Van once again tried to stab my back but I used [ice lotus] wrapping myself up and protecting me from the attack, Van almost lost hope but his eyes landed on Alisa.

He rushed at the physically weak Alisa but I broke the [Ice lotus] and threw an [ice lance] at him, since he wasn't looking behind him it impaled him to the ground before he vanished.

I looked at Alisa but she only bowed her head.The effects of the poison seem to have worn off.

"I will remember you for saving my life twice, I give up! " she said as she was teleported away

"Congratulations Magus Academy for winning the 1st years battle royale! "

The notification rang out in my head before I was teleported out and was now standing on the stage. There were also 7 other people with me on stage
