The world wouldn't be the world without bloodshed Pt.2

The arm gripped on mother's human body. The glowing aura around her suddenly grew into a blinding light. I could barley see anything, two silhouettes outlined in the light. The smaller of the two charged after the large figure slamming it's elbow into it. The large figure flew into the wall, a loud slamming sound could be heard.

The blinding light slowly started to fade. As my vision grew clearer I could make out the blood filled scene. Mutilated body parts covered the wall as pacthes of dark fur fell to the ground. Dark red blood pooled around the now dead creature. As I glance over to mother I see not a speck of blood could be seen on her. Snow white clothes not tainted in anyway contradicted the gory wall.

I stared at mother in amazement, a simple move destroyed this creature to bits. The creature was barely even recognizable, did she even use all her strength? I replayed the scene in my mind, the speed of her attack aswell of strength was no joke. But, she elbowed the creature, what if she had a weapon? I shivered at the thought. This mother of mine was looking more and more like a devil than an angel.

Mother then looked at the wall suddenly realizing something. Her sensual red lips jutted outwards, is she pouting?! I think I almost tipped over. This was way to anticlimactic, was there even a reason for her to pout?!

"Hah... and here I thought my first fight in a while would be fun.." Mother let out a sigh in disappointment.

That was her damm reason?! I lay down my tails thumping on the ground in annoyance. I stared angrily at the floor trying to cool down. Was this woman stupid? Too frustrating, she succeeded so why is he complaining? I felt two pairs of eyes on me so I look up, mother's beautiful red eyes stared at me. I yipped at her and she smiled. I stared at her smile, too pretty! She'll never be able to blend in a crowd, she must be struggling with missions.

A hand came flying to my face, it stung. I cupped my face with my hand and stared into deep soulless eyes.

" You incompetent bitch!" Another slap came flying to my face. This one had a lot of strength to it, I fell down to the floor. My tester was very angry with me this time. I failed a mission.

" I apologize for being incompetent, sir" I stood up again giving my tester a bow. My tester was one of the tamer ones, I appreciated my luck when I had him. My bunk mate had an extremely violent tester. She failed to missions in a row, so she got tourture slowly until she died.

I think she deserved her fate, a mission was everything. There are no exceptions for failures here. A mission correlated to your worth, if you failed missions constantly you were trash, not needed, worthless. I felt my ribs Crack, the pain was unbearable. My eyes became moist, tears wanted to fall but I held them in.

" I am a fair man, so I'll give you one more chance. Do not fail me otherwise, you'll die."

My tester glared at me arrogantly, his large fist still in my ribs. I look up at him and bowed once more showing my gratitude. I wince as a searing pain rushed through my body.

"Thank you very much for your benevolence sir!" My eyes flamed with determination, now lack of any sign of tears. My tester glanced at me and spat on my short blonde hair before walking away. I stayed in that position until I heard the metal door shut.

Mother's long slender finger petted my white fur. Her blood red eyes softened as I responed to her touch.

"Hmm little one I think I have neglected to name you..." Her words dragged off as she seemed in deep thought. Absent-mindedly petting my fur she hummed to herself. Finally a minute or two passed before mother spoke. " Jasmine I shall name you Jasmine.." Mother smiled at me before a kiss was planted on my head.

Jasmine? Jasmine, my name... Huh, a name, what a rare thing. My mother has been here and has given me a name, how strange. The name of a plant is my name aswell? Mother you could have done much better. I wagged my tails in hidden delight at my name.

Back at the lab few of us even had names. John was one of those selected few. I on the other hand had a code number. We are identified by this code number and it basically organized us. My code number was 1,000. I was the thousandth child documented in the lab. John had asked me my name several times and I finally answers him out of bordem. Surprised he asked if I wanted one.

"Well do you want a name?" John smiled up me, one of his teeth missing.

"No." I flatly replied.

"Why not?" John asked interested.I stayed silent and stared blankly into space.

John stumped stayed silent looking around the white padded room awkwardly. He twiddled his thumbs for a few seconds before rocking himself back and fourth. Johnson jumped from thing to thing in awkward silence before finally mustering the courage to ask me again.

"Why don't you want a name?" This time his voice was firm.

"Pointless..." I whispered.

"Huh?"

"Pointless, names are pointless. They do not help you in anyway. No stunning possibilities anywhere." I turned away from John and layed on the scracthy cot. As I closed my eyes a comfortable silence then lulled me to sleep.

"Ah..., you seem to like it. Isn't hat great Jasmine?" Mother continued to stroke my fur, a pleasant smile adorned her face.

"Yip!" I unconsciously responed.

This woman is dangerous, that pretty face of hers strayed from her true nature. Was this a manipulation technique? That would be very useful, a child following you at every beck and call. I stared at mother face once more wary of how this woman would raise me. All I can do for now is try to grow as strong as possible for now. Then I can escape from this bizarre mother of mine.
