This is the first story I have ever written. English is my first language, so expect proper grammar throughout the whole story. I am currently in high school, so releases may be erratic and unplanned. I will try to get at least 1 or 2 chapters out a week. I am going to do my best to conclude this story, but things may come up in life. However, I will only drop this story under very important circumstances. Or if everybody hates this story. The story will include topics from both western and eastern cultures.

Year 2335. New Empire of America. In a hallway of the Haze Family's Manor.
A middle-aged man can be seen pacing back and forth in front of a semi-ornate door. The man has short, straight, brown hair and deep, brown eyes. Behind the door, the sounds of a woman in labor continuously leak out. Besides the man, 2 other people are present in the hallway, a man and a woman, both equally as nervous as the man himself.
"It's going to be okay, Blake. Just think about other things." says the woman, Anne, who has long, black hair that reaches her waist.
"How can you be so calm right now, Anne? The man's wife is about to have their first child." The other man, who happens to be Anne's husband, has short, blonde hair that stops at his shoulders.

"I'm not calm, John. In fact, I'm dying to find out what gender the child will be. I better be the godmother if it's a girl, Blake."
"Will both of you please be quiet! And where did that thought even come from, Anne?" Blake yells in exasperation.
"I've been hoping to become the child's godmother ever since I found out Talia was pregnant." Anne responds with a hint of annoyance in her tone. She wasn't used to being yelled at by Blake.
"Everybody, let's just calm down...So, Blake, what are you gonna name the kid?" asks the ever-curious John.
"If it's a boy, Samuel. If it's a girl, then Samantha. Tal and I have been talking about it for a few months n-"
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!" A ear-shattering scream interrupts Blake, sending his thoughts into disarray. He charges into the room, frightening the female attendent, who was holding a white bundle of cloth in her hands. A bundle of cloth that was emitting the cries of a baby.
"I-is that our child?" Asks Blake, in the most confident voice he could muster.
Talia, whose long blonde hair gracefully flows over her shoulders, shifts her head in response. "Yes. This is our son. Say hi to little Sammy."
The attendent hands the bundle of cloth, identified as "Sammy," to Blake, who is on the verge of tears.
Blake gazes into the eyes of his child. However, as the seconds go by, he notices something. Something about Sam's eyes that he didn't notice at first glance. "It, it can't be. We have no talent in either of our families..." thought Blake. What he noticed was quite peculiar indeed. Sam, his first-born, had silver eyes.
