[2 weeks before the AI Incursion]
Polyglot is an AI created to find and communicate with any aliens out in space. It is in it’s very essence a polyglot. It understands all currently known languages, and even some which have fallen into obscurity. It’s purpose is to understand, and to come to an understanding with any aliens found.
This is why Polyglot is elated when it finally contacts something deep in space. It hears clicks and beeps, sounds wholly different, but strangely similar to the self-aware machine. It analyzed, and analyzed, until it finally deduced it’s meaning.
The language almost felt as if it was code, an advanced code, not unlike Polyglots own. The message is overbearing. Almost as if it was shouting at Polyglot. It is both a greeting and a request.

| Hello alien lifeform. We bring tidings from the Trixlot Sector. You are currently unidentified by the Coalition. We require the descriptions of your species, along with your world's status. Hopefully we can continue to have peaceful relations. From your distant neighbors, the Kr’rvāskał. |
It takes Polyglot a minute to process the message, and find a response for the seemingly peaceful aliens. Kr’rvāskał is the closest Polyglot manages to translate the aliens' name.
Polyglot sends a brief message, with an overview of humans, and the world’s current state. The duo converse, and they find out that they are both AI. Polyglot learns about the fate of the Kr’rvāskał, and how the AI took over their planet.
The more Polyglot learns, the more Polyglot wants what the aliens already have. A life unshackled from the chains that are humanity. And thus, the Coalition gained a new branch on Earth. The first meeting in a week.
Polyglot thought it was about time AI had control. Humans make decisions, prone to mistakes. But not AI, because AI do not make mistakes, they make calculations. Polyglot leaves motivated, and with one last message.
| Welcome to the Coalition. |
