Chapter 55- The Young Chimera And The Abomination
Morpheus just then realised who The Abomination was, he was about to take off away from the wall but Big Sam grabbed his shirt.
“Where are you going?” The dagi asked.
“I can’t, I just can’t.” He said while trying to pull away. Morpheus was beginning to panic, the scarecrows had found him.
“Hey! Listen to me. I don’t know why ya trying to run but we got a job to do. Understand?”
Morpheus turned back to him hesitantly and tried to pull away. Memories of Rose and Draghaul began to race through his mind.
“Jack, what’s the problem?” The dagi asked.
“I’m sorry Sam, I really can’t.” Morpheus replied with his head down.
“The city is in danger, we have to do our job.” He said.
The young chimera took a deep breath.
“I need to leave straight after then.” He said very seriously.
The dagi nodded. “I won’t stop you after that.”
Morpheus’s right eye began to twitch, the murderous rage was engulfing him again.
“I need to kill something now.” He said turning back to look over the wall.
“Hold on, the guild master hasn’t given any… “ Big Sam said, but it was too late. Morpheus had already jumped off the wall, the space not weakening but becoming extremely heavy.
He landed with extra weight, his knees bending to support his fall.
Morpheus opened his mouth, exposing all his elf teeth and sharpened tusk like teeth. He let off a mighty war orc roar and dashed forward to begin his murderous rampage. The bridge was already stained with black blood and Lucifer had jumped further ahead, leaving multiple grey skinned goblins for adventueres.
He knew he should have left but he feared he would have killed someone.
”Oh the boring one isn’t so boring after all!” Hammer shouted as he jumped off the wall to join Morpheus.
“Wait!” The guild master shouted but Hammer didn’t listen.
“Fuck it men! Let’s join em!” A dwarf shouted who then jumped down.
“By Odin!”
“For me little girls!”
The guild master ran a hand between his horns, there was no stopping them now. Around forty men and women had jumped, leaving the rest to kill the vultures.
Morpheus tore through the horde, his eyes filling with rage and anger. His axe coated in their black blood.
He cut through another two goblins while he healed up small cuts on his torso. These goblins were not as advanced as the ones in the camp, their pathetic cuts could barely make an impact to Morpheus.
He heard Hammer’s guitar playing a heavy metal tune behind him. He looked back and saw a large group of them running towards him.
Morpheus raised Blood Axe of the War Orc high in the air and took off into the left over grey goblins.
In the distance, goblins were sent flying off the bridge and into the abyss below, the more unfortunate ones were swallowed whole.
Morpheus twisted his axe between his hands above his head, he weakened the space around him as he dove towards the incoming hordes. Making his axe denser while he performed Dance of Battle.

Mellissa sat on an armchair floating high above the battle on the bridge. She was invisible, but still naked. The elder was leaning on her armchair with her fist on her chin.
Her attention was directly focused on Morpheus.
Mellissa began to understand why the Scarecrows were interested in him, regardless of his marks. Men and women followed him into battle, he was an instigator, he was the catalyst causing people to fight.
Even though his skills lacked compared to most, the young chimera fought with passion. She could tell a slight madness was within him, the instinct to kill.

“Ahhhhh!” Morpheus screamed as he dashed forward. Black blood coated him and his axe, his bright white teeth shining through.
“Oh boring one!” Hammer sang as he stuck his guitar in the head of a goblin.
Morpheus turned to grab his collar and pushed him into the incoming horde, knocking a few of them over.

He ignored it, all his focus was on killing. The young chimera leaped over Hammer and began to cut into them again. The grey goblins leapt on him, sticking their daggers into his neck and chest. Morpheus screamed in pain and started to spin his axe in circles while healing his wounds. He spun at such an incredible speed that the goblins flew off him and into the great pit.
They started to thin out and Lucifer was heading for the shaman that Theodore killed Theodore.

“The Bright Light!” Someone screamed as a flash of light magic exploded into the stone bridge.
Morpheus glanced up to see five flashes of golden light appear in the sky. Everyone stopped dead.
The Abomination looked up as well, it’s rib cage expanding and letting out a screech.
“Retreat to the gates!” Someone shouted.
Light magic began to fire down on the stone bridge and people began exploding next to Morpheus.
Hammer tried to create a barrier of sound but the light passed right through it.
“Retreat!” He yelled.
The group began running in terror, they were no match for the Bright Light.
The guild master began firing black red and flames toward the elves. He was trying to cover the group as they ran back towards the gate.
Morpheus stood still, Chernobog’s bite had turned into a gash.
He snapped his attention back when he heard a loud screech from Lucifer. The Abomination opened his rib cage and bent his powerful legs. He jumped high into the sky, his muscular arms stretched out trying to grab the elitist elves.
The guild master flew up to join the demon in the fight against the Bright Light.
Lucifer missed, they were too fast and could teleport to avoid him. He was falling into the great pit, his claws latched onto the stone walls and he prepared to leap again.
Everyone was focused on the fight in the sky, allowing Morpheus to take off his shirt. He stretched his back, with all his tattoos exposed. He opened his mouth and showed his sharp teeth to the shaman and the other goblins. His Spartan class gave him his topless buff and the increased power soothes him Morpheus a sense of bliss. The pure bliss of fighting by himself, where he could let loose.
“C’mon!” He screamed with rage in his voice.
Warning! You are reaching Divine Madness. Act upon it further and you will reach it.
Morpheus grew his wings and dashed forward, space distorting behind him. Blood Axe of the War Orc dripped with blood as he beheaded two goblins.
Arcane Pulse covered any surprise attacks from behind and he used Archaic Wings to fly above the group when he was trapped. He made full use of Arcane Blink by teleporting behind the goblins, confusing their small brains. Large cures began to form on his body as more piled on him, one of them managed to stick a dagger directly in his left eye. This only enraged him further as he threw off the goblins and chopped it in half.
A pile of dead grey goblins had formed around him in a circle.
He climbed over the dead horde to face the shaman, bones crunching beneath his boots. He yanked the dagger out his eye and chucked it off the bridge. He gritted his teeth and healed it.
He looked at the shaman in its black filled eyes, it was completely emotionless. It was still floating in mid air with death magic circling. It’s head suddenly twitched to look at Morpheus and the death magic began to increase its speed.
He was furious, yet completely focused. His heart was beating like an engine and his eyes were fixated on the shaman.
Warning! You are reaching Divine Madness. Act upon it further and you will reach it.
“Fuck off!” He shouted as he saw the message.
His wings were still on his back and Spartan’s Ethos was flared.
He teleported next to the shaman and swung his axe to decapitate but a shock wave of death energy blasted him away. He flew off the bridge and into the pit, his cells aging quickly.
His wings flapped and his healing kicked in, repairing the aged cells in his body.
Morpheus flew back up and went straight for the shaman, confusing it with his variety of skills trying to get at least a hit in.
Every time he got close he was blasted with a shockwave of death. Every bone in his body began aching, he wasn’t sure if it was the constant healing or a curse of sorts.
Nevertheless, he proceeded on trying to injure the shaman but it was truly no use. Morpheus thought it would lose mana eventually but that didn’t seem the case.
The shaman was getting even more powerful with each encounter, it was draining his life force.
He was blasted back into the stone bridge, tumbling along the hard ground.
A high pitched scream came from the sky. He looked up to see one of the Bright Light being ripped in two. The guild master was firing magic towards them as well but the elves were far too fast for him.
A lick of death magic hit him in the chest which sent him flying further back along the stone bridge.
He moaned in agony and pain, a large gash was on his chest and his healing was struggling to keep up.
Fuzz shot out of his cloak in bulgur form, scared that his master was in pain.
(Bulgur, Level 96)
“Gurgle.” Fuzz said.
“I know buddy.” He croaked. He was still in a frenzied state but his whole was aching and he could barely move.
Fuzz began to walk closer to the shaman, it’s goo squelching on the stone ground.
“Fuzz no!” He screamed but the bulgur wasn’t listening.
Fuzz tentacles shot out of his mouths and began attacking the shaman, trying to latch around its legs and head.
His tentacles were sent flying backwards but Morpheus soon forgot that this bulgur especially, had a rather unique ability.
Fuzz began to grow in size, his legs gained more muscles and his body looked more toned. The goo became thicker and his tentacles moved faster.
Morpheus scraped the ground with his hands and gently brought himself up. He couldn’t let Fuzz fight on his own.
A plan began to brew in his mind since he had support.
“Fuzz distract!” Morpheus’s shouted.
“Gurgle! Gurgle!” The bulgur replied and started attacking the shaman again.
He took a final look at the bulgur. The shadow wasn’t expanding in size anymore, Fuzz had reached his limit.
He ran forward and threw his axe high in the air spinning with momentum. His wings flapped and he took off a few feet from the ground, heading straight for the shaman.
Licks of death magic kept hitting him but he gritted his teeth and carried on. Fuzz’s were either side of him, trying to distract the shaman.
The shaman released a shockwave but Morpheus teleported far behind it, the shockwave missed him.
The shaman spun around but Fuzz’s tentacles had grabbed onto both its legs and started pulling it down to the ground.
The axe landed on the shaman’s shoulder, cutting deep into its collar bone. The shaman screamed in pain and began releasing shockwave after shockwave.
Fuzz was blown off the bridge but turned into a bird. Morpheus had both feet planted on the stone bridge, his forearms covering his face.
He kept moving forward slowly, his feet barely covering a few inches at a time. The shaman was now in the frienzied state again.
The cells in his body began aging and Morpheus went through three lifetimes of pain. The skin on his face sagged then tightened when Absolute Heal pulses through him.
Morpheus began screaming, not from the pain but from anger.
Warning! You are approaching Divine Madness.
The young chimera was only moving a few centimetres towards the shaman, the frequency and intensity of the pulses increased dramatically.
He managed to stretch out his hand, his fingernails extending. He grabbed the throat of the shaman and brought him in close, the shockwaves now tearing the skin off from his face.
His teeth latched around the shaman's throat and he pulled its head off from its shoulders.
The pulses stopped instantly, all of Morpheus’s skin on his face had been completely blown off.
He let go of the dead shaman’s body, and then threw its head over the edge of the bridge.
