"Both" I say while grinning and looking at her reaction

'Yea I was kind of expecting that answer from you" Raven says while pouring herself another cup of tee

"See you tomorrow." I say standing up

"We won't be able to meet each other for around 10 days as I'm going to another city for private reasons."

"Good to know. Than see you in 2 weeks i guess." I say while putting up my hood and walking out

I go start walking to Johns meat shot wanting to try the Special Pork. After wandering around a bit I find the shop. It looks quite nice, humble. But there is a line of customers. I stand at the back. And wait for 30 minutes until reaching the start.

"I would like to get the special pork" I say looking at the man behind the counter.

"I'm really sorry, but we just ran out. The customer in front of you bought the rest of the stock. Would you like anything else?" He asks while looking at my hood

"No thank you I'm good." I say and walk away. Going to where the person who was in front of me was going.

I start to follow him, but he doesn't suspect a thing. I watch him come to his shabby home. It's just a small 1 story house, but as he enters I see 5 people in the house. From the glance I determine that he has a wife and 3 kids. Also that there is 2 elder people in there. Presumably his or his wife's parents. I go back to my house. And place clothes that i will wear on a chair. My dagger, sword, a load of bread i will snack on during the night and other tools i will use on a table next to the chair. Then head to rest for a bit.

As night engulfs the city once again I look out the window and see guards roaming on high alert as usual. Then while getting ready and putting everything on i think.

If only I was stronger, I wouldn't need to hide and only hunt collect souls at night and only from weak civilians. It would be nice to be able to kill get better souls from guards and knights. I think once I reach C rank in all stats, or get near it I will try to get them. But I shouldn't overthink it so much. Or else I will miss the FUN

I go out from my front door and quickly go to Ylane square. Passing and greeting a couple guards. Though they don't suspect me as I look like a person going to a bar or a monster hunter going home from a hard days work. Once I arrive I see around 10 guards patrolling it. Then I spot a dark alley near the 2 story house with the red roof. I go into it thinking.

Gosh there are so many guards. I guess I won't be able to have FUN with these 2 people. But there are 7 more waiting for me. I should thank the man for buying all the pork.

I head into the alley near and use my grappling hook i finally bought, and not using my homemade rope and hook. To get into the second floor. of the building. There I saw Huebald sleeping. His looks aren't good. He's quite short, fat. He looks like a beer barrel. I quickly pull out my dagger, and slit his throat. I absorb souls I don't even need to say It. Then I use the grappling hook to get to the building next to this ones 3rd floor, where my second target is sleeping, not knowing a thing, he looks like the other person I killed. I also slit his throat. Then grapple and climb up to the building roof and start running to where my 7 toys are probably sleeping.

I forgot. I should have made a bigger mess killing those 2. Am I just that exited that I don't want to waste time on those merchants. Probably.

As I continue running and parkouring across roofs. My eyes start glowing red again. Slowly but surely until they start glowing at their fullest extent.

The feeling. Finally i can feel it again. The Ideas for my play are coming in. It feels so good

"Yes, It feels so gooooooooooooooooooooooood" I accidently say loudly, then duck. So the guard that I was running above doesn't see me. I head him look around and say while quite annoyed.

"Hey lovebirds, maybe keep it more quiet. You want the whole district to hear you have pleasure, huh?"

"I quietly chuckle and continue to make haste. Finally arriving to the house. I quietly jump down, then open then picklock a door.

Thank god I took pick locking classes while I still was a soldier. I knew they would come useful someday.

I slowly open the door and get inside the house, then i kill the 2 old people as old toys aren't fun. then I knock the 5 others out and tie them up onto chairs and place them in a circle. The wake up 20 minutes later looking scared, terrified and scared.

"Let's play a game why don't we?" i speak hiding in the area that the candle I lit doesn't reach

8"Who are you?" the man speaks

"Why? why us? We are poor, what do you want?" His wife shouts

"The game is simple. Choose among the 5 of you 1 person who will die" I say while coming out of the shadow. My eyes glowing like rubies

"Mama who is that scary man?" A young girl says

"Please let us live. I beg of you. We'll give all that we have" The woman says

"I am giving a chance for some of you to live. I can kill you all you know. Now choose time is ticking" I say while grinning very clearly

The other kids stay silent. The man and the woman and nods. The woman tears up, but she also nods slowly.

"I want to volunteer myself" The man says with fear in his voice.

Looks like they already know that shouting won't work. Escaping also. Now let's move to the second chapter.

I drag his chair in the middle of the circle and speak

"For the second part. You will all need to stay quiet or you will die until I finish my masterpiece"

I pull out my dagger. The man looks at it. tears starting to form in his eyes. I slowly bring the dagger to his arm and slowly cut off all his fingers, then move to his legs and also cut off all his fingers there. The man keeps screaming. His wife and 3 kids look in horror crying and watching this unfold. As I finish with the fingers and start pulling out the teeth the youngest girl finally speak

"STOP HURTING DA" she doesn't finish her sentence as my dagger flies straight at her forehead killing her.

The woman's tears start making a stream. No a waterfall. As i continue torturing the man. I finally finish his suffering after pulling out all his teeth, Cutting all his features away and finally slowly ending him by slow suffocation.

"Good job. Now let's move to the 3rd game" I say this, but quickly stop speaking as I head sounds from the outside. And see torches coming closer to the building.

Fuck. Did someone hear the screams and called the guards. Fuck i have to get out quickly.

I quickly leap towards the woman and her 2 kids which look quite happy as they know they will be rescued, but I end their dreams by killing them. Then I quickly scramble searching for a way out. I start hearing cracking sounds as the door is being broken.

Will I die here? The has to be something I can do to survive RIGHT? Right?
